Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wondefrful stay. It was stormy on and off during our visit. When we left we noticed the spark arrester on top of the chimney is not seated properly. We also built a small fire and had to extinguish it as too much smokle came in the house. There defintiey needs to be some work done on the chimney before guests should use the fireplace. Thank you for such a great get away!

Great views, wonderful lighting throughout the house, with a great reading lamp in the living room and bedroom. Very clean and well-stocked kitchen. If sharp knives are important to you, you nay wish to bring your own. Was glad that there was a dvd player.

Reviewer Comments: This house is big where you want it to be, in the spacious living room, with large yet cozy window seats and it's almost all (spotless) windows for incredible views. Plus there are so many outside seating areas. Nicely decorated, great layout. Beach Rentals was their usual awesome.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is nearly oceanfront and a great deal! It is a classic older two bedroom Sea Ranch home. Although it is a little dated, the kitchen is well stocked and the house is impeccably clean. The hot tub is humongous and great for stargazing at night. The deck is quite large and very private since there is a big open space adjacent to it instead of another house. The books and DVDs are super old and actually kind of funny in a cute way. So many big beautiful picture windows and the two window seats are more generous than most. Nice and deep and well cushioned! Beds were super comfortable. There was a screen door that comes off the rails if you don’t baby it, maybe a couple of other minor things like this. Nothing you wouldn’t expect from an older home so close to the ocean. But the vibe of so many people having wonderful vacations here (which is evidenced by the guest book) along with the beautiful and serene location more than make up for any tiny infections. The front yard is completely fenced in and filled with wonderful flowers. Perfect for hanging out with your dog!

The enclosed yard was perfect for our dog. We saw so much wild life just looking out the windows. Access to the trails was great. I cant wait to book Robinsong again.

We appreciated having an enclosed area to allow our dog a little freedom and we loved the big picture windows and window seats that gave us such a wonderful view of the meadow, forest and ocean and all the wildlife (birds!). I liked that the house was situated near trils and not far from several beaches. The beds were very good as well.We hope to return again next year.

A Tranquil Escape

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Both the interior and the exteriors spaces of this property emanate quiet and cozy peacefulness. We loved our stay here! The house is clean with all expected amenities, including a library of interesting books. There is no “Dog Smell”! My dog and I walked the for miles on the trails along the coast and throughout the meadows and the trees. The instructions and process for check-in are precise and easy to follow, which we appreciated, as we initially arrived after 11:00 p.m.! We enjoyed being able to pick up fresh fish and produce at the Farmers Market in nearby Gualala, which we grilled on the deck and enjoyed ocean views during dinner a night or two. Although the area is somewhat remote, we found delightful restaurants and everything desired at the well-stocked markets and shops in Gualala. Make reservations well in advance for dinners in the area, as they seem to fill up quickly!

Great location but otherwise disappointed

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house location is fantastic-on a quiet cul-de-sac with views of the ocean from the living room area. Unfortunately the inside condition of the house was disappointing. Overall it was dirty. Dust everywhere, dog hair on sheets and bedspread, dirty dishes and cutting board put back in the cupboards. One bedspread had masking tape on it to cover a rip. I don’t expect to clean a rental house immediately after arriving but that is what I did including laundering the sheets. The house was older than the listing seemed to advertise. There is no central heating only wall heaters so it takes some effort to find a comfortable temperature. And the second bathroom with a shower is small and has a very narrow door which was difficult to navigate with a kid or I imagine, anyone with mobility issues. Also the sink in the master bath was clogged so I had to call for a handy man to come the next morning. The issue was resolved very quickly and Beach Rentals was considerate. But I shouldn’t have had to call in the first place if the property was well maintained. I am not opposed to renting an older house if that is what I expected and prepared for. This was not the case and as such was very disappointing.

The location was perfect and the neighbors were cool. The home is very comfortable, could use an update on older magazines and maybe a bigger TV for those dark nights up at the Ranch. The hot tub worked great and totally helped us unwind. The treats provided for our dogs were a very nice touch that meant the world to my Wife..!This was our 20 year anniversary and the staff and the comforts made it very special. Thank you once again

Between breaks in the storm, we got out and hiked north and south along the bluff trail. When it was raining, we enjoyed relaxing in the window seats, reading and looking out over the meadow to the ocean, or soaking in the hot tub.
