Loved the location, the view off the balcony, hearing the ocean, sunsets, and an easy walk to the beach to see the sea turtles and sea lions resting on the beach. Amenities were perfect. Nice breeze always through the unit.

Our stay in Poipu

Very nice but will probably stay at a better beach access next time. Location needs to provide blankets, rather just bed spreads.

Great stay with amazing views

The condo and parking is convenient to beaches, restaurants and everything else you might need. The view is exceptional. I had a very relaxing time. The unit is well equipped and management was extremely responsive. For the money this place is a great deal.

Probably the best place we’ve stayed. Older building but great upgrades, very clean, plenty of kitchen necessities, and a fabulous view. Walking trails and beach access was easy. Highly recommend and when we return we will request this place!

The management company was great. The view was spectacular! We would definitely stay at Sunset Kahili again! Unfortunately, this unit had some deferred maintenance issues, a tub that did not drain well and pretty serious interior water leakage during a rain storm. I highly recommend Sunset Kahili but would avoid this unit unless the units

You didn't contact us during your stay, but we would have addressed the clogged drain while you were her. You also didn't tell us about the leak, which we have now reported to the Sunset Kāhili management, since it is their responsibility to repair leaks.

The view from our lanai provides not only variety, with the changing skies and beautiful sunsets, but also a sense of relaxation. The sound of the ocean adds to that sense of relaxation, Top that off with the musical score provided by tropical birds in the treetops outside the kitchen window, and you have a tropical paradise even if you never left the condo. From Sunset Kahili, one can easily walk to Poipu Beach. Each time we did, there were Green Hawaiian Sea Turtles, and endangered Monk Seals naturally basking on the sandy beach, where volunteers helped them remain undisturbed. Walking the other direction, one can walk along a rocky shore to Shipwreck Beach. On each walk, we found ever-changing beautiful scenes.

The only suggestion I would make is to install heavier, light blocking curtains on the windows facing the water. The unit faces directly west and becomes quite hot in the late afternoon. And while the ocean breeze cools the unit the rest of of the time it doesn’t help at that time of the day. We found once the unit heated up it was hard to cool down.

Great spot!

Amazing view from the lanai!! great building and nice pool. Quiet spot close to lots of places to eat and fabulous beaches. Listened to the waves crash as we drifted off to sleep.

The location is easy walking to Poipu Beach. Many great restaurants are within walking or driving distance. The bathroom and kitchen were newly redone and sparkling clean. The grounds, including the plants, pool and parking lot are cleaned and attended to daily. We received helpful emails from the management, with quick answers to our questions. Checking in and out were easy. We would recommend this property to our friends, but we don't want too many people finding out what a great place it is!

Amazing place, not to miss

Condo was immaculate, well equipped kitchen and within easy walk to the beach! Incredible view and saw whales every evening before sundown. We would definitely stay here again. Suite 302.
