Awesome visit!

We had a great stay. The condo was beautiful, the location was prime, the bed was comfy, and there was plenty of space. The bar next door can be a bit loud, but the other reviews warned us about it, and the one time we went to the bar it was super nice to be so close to our room.

Met all of our expectations, well-equipped in a perfect location right in the middle of Main Street action. Live music noise was present for one of our three nights and was still manageable with earplugs. Would stay again!

Downtown Perfection

The location was everything! Right in the mix, and as a cane user it was easy to get to shops. Loved the unique look of the apartment, and the huge tub was a plus. Would stay again!

This was a fantastic, centrally located place to stay for the weekend. Exactly as advertised, very clean, fully functional and spacious. Only down side was that the bar across the street is very loud (at least on weekend nights), but earplugs provided were much appreciated.

Downtown Durango!

We loved this location!! So central to everything we wanted to do over a long weekend! Lots of shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. There’s a bar across the street that was loud when we were walking by but could barely hear it in our place! Perfect!! Would definitely come back!!

Great Place!

Nice clean condo with comfortable beds. Expect some street noise. Being in the heart of town was fun, as you can walk to many things. They check parking meters often so dont get caught like we did when we were hauling our luggage in! Overall great stay!

Cozy condo with a lot of character and charm

Loved the location in downtown Durango. Condo is upgraded with a beautiful kitchen and bathroom. King and Queen beds are comfortable.

Great Location but a little noisy on Saturday night

The location was great, the apartment was clean, it was easy to access, the bathroom was spacious. My only complaint is that the noise from the bar across the street kept us all up until 2am.

Durango at the Jarvis

This is a darling place in a great location. Right off Main Street, the Jarvis is close and very accessible to the downtown shopping and dining areas. The apartment is very well appointed and comfortable and was perfect for our needs. The only complaint I had was that it is across from a popular club, and Saturday night it was loud. All other nights were fine. We would definitely stay here again b

Great time!

I loved it, very clean and great location. I would suggest to download both apps of what you are booking through because I was missing some information on getting in after hours and that was frustrating. Also, I was locked out when the code suddenly changed but after persistence I had help an hour later. Outside of those hiccups, it was a great place, clean, and amazing location.

Comfortable and convenient

The studio apartment is one block from Main Street but not too noisy. It is comfortable for two people, but the loft is too short to stand up in and the rail is so low that I think it unsafe for children. It’s lovely to have reserved parking spot and the elevator. The house was well equipped for our stay. I wish the dead bolt was operable.

Historic beautiful place/location with all modern features!

Loved everything about the place - beautiful artwork and furnishings, well stocked kitchen, location great, looked just like photos- comfortable beds and living space. Dishwasher bottom drawer didn’t work though and no note so had to hand wash everything after unloading. No deadbolt on door. Walls are thin and could hear conversation in next door unit at 11 pm as though in our room, likewise street noise when patrons left bar across street woke us at 1 am or so each night.

Windows were single pane glass that appeared original to the building. Mattress needs replaced. Bedding on bed smelled unfresh. Rail needs installed on loft elevation. Had 4 wash rags for 4 people over 3 nights. Lights in living room were difficult to turn on, so it was dark at night and in the morning. Best thing about the place was its proximity to downtown.

Great Location

Overall great experience with this property. It is exactly as described and as the pictures detail. And the location is perfect as you can walk to everything in downtown Durango. Check in instructions were easy to follow and getting in was a breeze. A few notes: 1) the deadbolt needs to be fixed - I know others have said this as well, but come on. Just fix the thing! 2) The area rug is on its last leg - time to pony up for a new one before it wears completely through. 3) If there is a squeaking noise that is driving you nuts, adjust the vent in the ceiling you can reach from the loft. That is where it is coming from - took us a while to find it, but we did get it and a simple adjustment takes care of it.

Likes: located in downtown close to everything. Dislikes: Main king size bed needs new mattress. Two large, body size impressions on each side of bed. Single pane antique windows allowed cold, heat and noise in. There was a street dance and a bar on the street below, and noisy until 2 am both Friday and Saturday night. There’s only one small mirror in the bathroom, which hangs down, and hard to get ready in front of, think bending down to see in it to do hair a makeup. The loft needs a safety railing, which I had noticed on other reviews, and dismissed, but seeing it in person, wow, dangerous. We got 4 towels and 4 washcloths for 4 people for 3 nights. Could’ve used about 12 washcloths. We could not access the locked porch outside.
