Entièrement meublé 1BR / 1BA Condominium Apartment. Cuisine complète et bain carrelé. C'est votre maison loin de chez vous, avec draps, serviettes, casseroles, poêles, ustensiles et cuisine complète, y compris cuisinière / four, réfrigérateur, four à micro-ondes, lave-vaisselle, mixeur, cafetière, téléviseur couleur et connexion Wi-Fi .. Tout le confort, y compris la télévision couleur, téléphone privé et une laverie payante sur place. La véranda regarde vers une petite baie, avec vue sur les montagnes et l'océan ouvert avec les tortues et les baleines de saison. Serenity with a view

It was extremely relaxing, comfortable, as well as accessible to several beaches, the only little issue that occurred there wasn’t enough toilet paper, but that was remedied by going to the store, and purchasing that particular item, other than that everything was AAA five star rating..

The small cove just to the west is full of fish and has relatively easy access into the water. Parking can be tight after dark on a weekend. A larger dining table would be an improvement. Very pleased overall.

Great Location! Could Use a Few Update.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location is awesome. The property could use some updates, especially in the bathroom. Showering was our least favorite part of every day because the shower was so old. With a few simple updates, this could be a five-star property. The view is fantastic, and we saw turtles in the bay every day. There is a power pole next to the balcony but that didn't bother us. The rental comes with two beach chairs, an umbrella, and an ice chest. I didn't see this listed in the property details, so I made a reservation to rent these times. I was pleasantly surprised to find them provided.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great! The condo was very clean and well stocked with everything that we needed for our stay. The bed and linens were very comfortable. Best news was that the AC in the bedroom and the separate unit in the living room WERE GREAT! We turned the units off when we left and they would cool the rooms very quickly upon our return. The balcony overlooked the water and was very nice. The unit could use another chair as we had to move one of the two dining chairs over to the desk to be able to do any work and then always scoot it back to eat. The room was very quiet and we were there on New Years Eve when there were many firecrackers.

Sit on the lawn and watch the sunset and the surfers on the other side of the building. Walk to the beach.This is our 4th stay in this building and it's because of this location. The condo was great, the management co was responsive. If you are expecting the Ritz Carlton(and Ritz prices),this is not it. It is a nice, comfortable, clean, condo with amazing views!

Kauai stay

The view off the balcony is beautiful. You are paying for the views with this condo. It is right next to a road which isn’t totally clear in the pictures. But the road isn’t that busy. Overall the inside is usable but the furniture and bathroom could use some TLC. The bar for towels in the bathroom falls off the wall if you breathe on it. There was limited paper towel and toilet paper which is usually provided especially considering the nightly rate and fees. The owner provided lots of sheets for the pull out but no extra blankets. It would also be nice if there was a broom.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was nice and there was a wonderful view. We were missing a few items, but they were quickly replaced when asked for, except we asked for a baking pan and was given a box of snap ware. Not a huge deal though. The air conditioner in the bedroom was not working and was not fixed during our 9 day stay. The pull out couch was not very comfortable either, a little thicker of a mattress would have been nice so that you didn’t feel the bars or have a downward slant. The king size bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the kitchen and dining area.

Not as advertised

Unit advertised as “end unit”. From the picture above, that would mean one side or the other of the building. But, no. Unit is around the side next to a very busy road with lots of road noise. When on the balcony, just hope the sound of the waves overpowers the road noise. Can only sleep at night if the air conditioning runs constantly. And, the power lines for town electricity can almost be touched from the unit balcony.

We are not sure why you think it is not, as it is located at the very end of the building, with another unit on just one side. A previous review described it as a "great location." We're sorry that you were not comfortable there, but please understand that we have no control over traffic on the road.

No Pride in Ownership Here

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We paid over $325/night for this condo and were extremely disappointed. The owners of this condo apparently are all about making money and have no pride in ownership. In short, it was a dump. The fixtures were cracked, the countertops stained, drawers missing huge chunks of wood, the faucet dripped, the patio furniture was broken and rusted, the bed very uncomfortable, the shower flow almost nonexistent, and I could go on and on. We felt like we were totally ripped off. We would never rent at Kuhio Shores again.
