At first the property owner was great, which is a good sign. Then we arrived at the property & immediately we were concerned. There is active construction all around the cottage & the neighborhood is a bit dodgy. After a full day of sightseeing, we got back to the cottage and realized there are no privacy window coverings in the bedroom or the bathroom. After an interrupted sleep from the next door security lights going on & off all night, we saw ROACHES in the kitchen - both on the floor and in the utensil drawer. That was it, we packed up and left. After contacting the property owner with these issues, we were denied a refund for the unused nights on the reservation. Sad as this completely ruined our vacation.
Perfect location with easy access to beach and downtown
This was a very charming home that had everything we needed and nothing we did not. The location was ideally situated between the beach and downtown so that we could easily take advantage of everything Charleston has to offer without any long trips. Would recommend to others and stay here again.
Alex was an amazing and accommodating host. The home was very comfortable for our 1 week stay. It's close to a fairly large park for exercise and pets and some great local eateries too. The location is quiet and yet close enough to old town Charleston to walk.
Met the hosts during check-in, extremely nice and accommodating. House was just as described. Our dogs were very relaxed and enjoyed the outdoor space. Would stay again.
We allow pets! Our own German Shepherd, Trout, is our favorite travel companion so we understand the desire to travel with yours, too. If you need any dog-friendly places to go to while in our city please feel free to text us!
