The Lucky Duck was the perfect place for our stay while our son played at Dreams Park! This included our children along with grandparents. We all felt that the home was spacious and provided room for everyone. Mike and Kate were incredible hosts, who checked in on us and made us feel welcomed! The property is beautiful, perfect for kayaking and fishing in your spare time. Close to the fields and downtown. My only regret was not finding the time to walk around the pond and trails! We can't wait to return next year!

Great property, great hosts. We spent about 3 hours fishing the pond and caught over 50 fish. The hosts checked in on us from time to time to be sure we were comfortable. The house was stocked with everything that is needed and clean. The house is very spacious. My kids already said we must stay here again if we get back to Cooperstown. This is a great location about 6 minutes from the Hall of Fame and 13 minutes from Dreams Park. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect spot

Two families stayed during our trip to the Cooperstown little league tourney. The place was perfect. Comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, fishing pond and a lot of pinball. Great stay!

Beautiful Property

We enjoyed the lake, kayaking and the wildlife. There is a brand new flattop grill that made cooking for the whole family delicious and easy. Owners are very kind and helpful!

The house was immaculate for everything you could need and is the cleanest rental I have ever been in. The glassware was gleaming, no dust, floors were beating clean. There is so much to keep you entertained with games, poker, pinball and the outside fishing and kayaking. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Perfect Home and Location for Cooperstown Experience

Cooperstown Dreampark was an amazing experience for our son and the entire family. The Lucky Duck home was the perfect setting and set up to accommodate extended family. It was also an easy drive to the baseball complex and downtown area. Highly recommend this home for families.

Perfect Cooperstown stay

What a cool property! We had space to spread out in the very cool modern farmhouse. We enjoyed walks around the pond. It was convenient to downtown Cooperstown and Dreams Park.

Awesome property

We loved staying here! Gorgeous property. Excellent location only about 12 min from Cooperstown Dreams park. Had everything we needed for two families. We used the fire pit, kayaked on the lake and played whiffle ball on the expansive, beautiful grounds. Would highly recommend this property.

Great Family House minutes from Downtown Cooperstown

Well kept farmhouse was great for multi-family stay near Cooperstown. Plenty of room for all. We had a great time fishing on the private lake and it was only 15 mins to Dream Park where we were back and forth to multiple times daily. Would recommend!

The Lucky Duck

We stayed at this property, called the Lucky Duck, while in Cooperstown for a 12U baseball tournament. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. The house was clean, well furnished and the host has thought of everything you could need. The setting is beautiful and perfect for some quiet time after all the excitement at the baseball park. We would highly recommend staying here.

Cooperstown Gem!

Great stay for our family visiting the area for Cooperstown! We had the best time and the barn was perfect and very clean. My hubby and I work in the hospitality industry and are very particular when it comes to accomodations! This place is a gem!

We were LUCKY to have chosen this beautiful home to stay in for our week at Dreams Park watching our grandson play baseball!The house was just as described and was even more spacious than what the photos portray. Kitchen well stocked. We appreciated the nice shampoo, conditioner and body wash in all the showers and the well stocked toilet paper and paper towels.The beds all very comfortable in large rooms. Kate and Mike are the most gracious and fun hosts. Great communication before and during our stay.Unfortunately the washing machine in the large laundry room broke while we were there. Kate had a new washer and dryer installed the next day! Another bonus of this great home is the brand new washer and dryer that is much needed if you have kids playing in the baseball tournament!Their property on the pond is breathtaking. We enjoyed walking around the pond and my husband was able to use a kayak as well. The upper deck was a lovely spot to relax in the morning and evening between games.Cooperstown is the cutest town. We went to a lot of the restaurants that Kate recommended.We loved our stay here and would stay again! You should stay here as well! Thanks Kate and Mike!

WONDERFUL

Big, open, CLEAN, wonderful accommodations. We loved the yard, lake, kayaks, etc. We used the grill, kitchen, laundry, etc. It was perfect for our multi-family stay for Cooperstown Dreams Park. Host was excellent. HIGHLY recommend!

Our son was playing at Cooperstown Dreams Park and we enjoyed our stay. Location is wonderful and beautiful, and we were only 10 minutes from Dreams Park. So nice to have multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. Plenty of room for everyone. Thank you!

Perfect stay

This house is absolutely perfect. Kate may be the best host we have ever had when staying in a VRBO. The layout of the home is perfect and our kids loved to fish and kayak. I will say if you get hot easily the three upstairs bedrooms got warm. There are fans in there but if you like it cold when you sleep you may want to bring an extra fan. Would stay here anytime!!!!!

Best place to stay!

We rented this house for a week while our son played baseball at the Dreams Park. It was incredible! It was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Our other kids loved the canoes and fishing on the pond. The owners were the nicest people too! I am pretty picky and can’t think of one thing I would change about our stay here. 10/10!

Beautiful property! Thoughtfully appointed in every way

We loved our time at Lucky Duck and hope to be back in a few years with our second son when he comes to Cooperstown. The property is absolutely gorgeous and it is so nice to have the lake and kayaks/ boat available. The boys loved fishing. The house was perfect for our crew and had everything we could have needed: detergent, conditioner, hair dryers, all the little stuff you forget. It’s a beautiful design and so much fun to stay there. We used all the toys: the game table, pinball machine, we grilled out and used the fire pit too. Thank you for having us!

What a delight!

Our stay at the Lucky Duck was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were very kind and helpful during our visit. The home was great, well stocked kitchen, and had a great layout for our family with plenty of beds for everyone. The property was idyllic and we greatly enjoyed the nature sounds in the evenings and strolls around the lake. This was the perfect little getaway from the hustles of our Cooperstown Dreams Park trip and the location to the fields and downtown Cooperstown were great. Only about 6-8 minutes from downtown Cooperstown and about 15 mins from Dreams Park. Hopefully our younger will have the opportunity to go back and play and then we can book this property next time too!

The property is beautiful beyond words. We had a few minor issues that were addressed immediately. The house was clean and provided with the essentials we needed. The walk in shower on the main floor is great. We were provided with fishing poles, badminton set, darts and a corn hole game. There are also paddle boards and life jackets The hostess came over and spoke with us and she was so kind to my granddaughter and her friend. She made you feel right at home. This is a great place to come back to after a long day at the baseball fields. Thank you Kate for your hospitality

Air conditioning was inadequate. Main unit (wall unit) was not functional for most of the stay. Once fixed, it was not sufficient to cool the house.

Chris you were a miserable guest. You showed up with more guests than you signed up as having and left the house an absolute mess. We had never had a guest complain so much as you will see if you read our other reviews. There is and was nothing wrong with the air conditioning or anything else in the house, yet you daily found something to complain about we would NEVER want you back as a renter and caution other homeowners to seriously consider not renting their homes to you either.
