North Tower F-11 Situé en face de Barefoot Landing, ce complexe de 27 hectares propose de nombreux équipements, dont une sécurité 24h / 24, un green d'entraînement, un tennis, une salle de jeux, une salle de sport, un restaurant sur place et bien plus encore.
Cette 2 chambres 2 salle de bain complète a été récemment repeint et a certaines des meilleures vues de la plage. Ce condo est livré avec un roi dans la chambre principale, et une reine dans la 2ème et un canapé-lit queen dans le salon et salle à manger. Condo vient entièrement équipée cuisine, et une laveuse et sécheuse complète dans le condo. Le bâtiment est équipé d'une connexion wi-fi gratuite. La propriété a des zones de grillades et de pique-nique derrière la tour sud.

Family vacation

3.5. The resort is nice but a little deceiving claiming newly remodeled. Showers are definitely dated! Master bed balcony was not cleaned at all. Black dirt particles were scattered on the floor of balcony. Floor was very sandy. As soon as we took off our shoes off, our feet were covered in sand as if the cleaning crew didnt even attempt to mop, especially in the main balcony, also in living room area. Shared bathrooms shower is strangely set up. Very small and shower nozzle is awkwardly hung at eye level. And getting it to run hot water requires patience. It doesn't get hot when you set the knob to hot. You have to move it around and wait. It took me standing there 5 minutes before I could get it to get hot. Master bedroom shower drain moves around. Is not screwed down. Kept having to move it with my foot.Oh, exterior trim would of balcony looks 100 years old. Needs serious painting, caulking or trim replaced. This adds to the problem of claiming its recently renovated. Kitchen is nice, Paint seems new, but I would say only half of it is recently renovated. But my biggest complaint was checking in. Key provided for after hours check in doesnt work. Per security, stopped working in Jan 2025. So we couldnt get in at first. Rental company was no help. Needed a code for door. We finally figured out we had to go on through basement parking garage. Believe secuirty guard heard us trying to get in but never came to door. Heard him cursing as i came to lobby. nightmare it

My Big Break

The location was breathtaking however,the heat would not go above 70, therefore the unit fan never shut off at night to hear the wavesIn addition, I returned from my dinner and the building door was locked and neither of the issued keys worked which was not pleasing being locked out of the building.

Great Place

The rentalCompany was easy to deal with and kept us updated before our vacation started. The condo was everything it was advertised to be. It was clean, roomy and had everything we needed for a great stay. The view fromBoth balconies was beautiful. We were surprised that both bedrooms had ann ocean view. That was a wonderful bonus. The furniture was comfortable. Ocean Creek is a favorite place to stay and we will definitely look into this condo again.

Great location, bit of a hassle

Loved Ocean Creek, would definitely return. Disconnect in communication with Palmetto Rentals. Property said we needed a key to unlock front doors at night, Palmetto knew nothing about, owner said key in apartment. Property said we needed wrist bands to swim in the pools or be on the property. Palmetto said they had never heard this. Owner said they were in the unit. They weren't. I spent part of 2 days of my vacation trying to get answers to this. The unit was a little dirty (long hairs on the shower walls and we all have short hair) but I could live with that. Overall, I'd stay at Ocean Creek again, but not sure I'd do it through Palmetto. And yes, I agree that having to drive 10 miles out of my way to get keys and return them, when there was a lockbox on the door, was a bit ridiculous. I've rented units all over the place and the first time I had to do that.

Good Location by the Beach (but there are problems)

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Problems with door key - keys needed to be remade; extensive time-consuming jiggling was required to unlock the door every time. Even after complaining several times, I never got new door keys.Problem with getting locked out of building every day at 8 pm. Security locks the building every day at 8 pm. For all other residents, their door key unlocks the building’s doors downstairs. Our keys couldn’t unlock these doors. I had to contact PVR multiple times to get a working building key. Waited several days to get it.Problem with smoke detector. I tried calling PVR’s after hours phone number to leave an urgent message about the smoke detector making loud alarm sounds due to a low battery condition. I knew that I wasn’t going to be able to sleep until this was fixed. Unfortunately, PVR’s voicemail box was full and would not accept any messages. I had to buy a 9 volt battery and stand on a chair to install it.Non-working light fixture in bathroom. There is a 3-lamp light fixture in the bathroom that is completely non-working since none of the light bulbs turn on.Lots of dust beneath the dressers. I found so much dust beneath the dresser that indicates that this area never gets cleaned despite the high cleaning cost that PVR charges. There was also a lot of dust in the closets off the entrance hallway.We stayed in this unit for two-month stays for two consecutive years. There was a 1-inch hole in the screen door that was there for both of our stays.PVR has not been performing basic maintenance on the unit and could be much more responsive to maintenance requests.

The unit was as pictured. The only issue we had was the door lock was a nightmare to gain entrance to the unit. All else was amazing! So much to do here besides just relaxing on the generous balcony. A TV was listed for the second bedroom but there wasn't one. No matter though, such a relaxing and wonderful vacation!

August Vacation Condo Rental

Great view, needs a litte work

We stayed at this unit for 5 nights. You have to go to a different location to pick up the keys, which is fine but something you need to plan on before you go (it's about 15-20 mins away from the unit). The unit is right across from Barefoot Landing, so that was great for shopping and food. The unit was fairly clean, but the stains all over the carpet make it look and feel dirty. There were a few lights that didn't work, and I wasn't going to buy light bulbs for just 5 nights. There was dust in the decorations and by the tv that hasn't been cleaned in a while. The tv in the main bedroom didn't work. The master bath has something rigged up so the lights work above the sink. The slats on the blinds are broken/missing on both blinds. There was a sliding door left propped up against the other door on the balcony that apparently had come off the bedroom's door entrance to the balcony. The balcony still had food on the ground and the table, it looks like it wasn't cleaned at all out there before we arrived. The tiles on the balcony were crumbling in one area. This unit really needs some updating and fixed up, I think it would be a great place if some more care was taken. I hate to nit-pick, but we are paying for the unit and did not expect it to be kind of gross/in need of repairs. We really loved the view, and the balcony was nice and roomy for the whole family. The table/chairs sat up high so you can see over the railing. For the master room, the balcony is pretty small, and you can hear/see people on their own balconies. It would be nice if people kept their music down though and didn't subject everyone to their choice of music. We just wanted to listen to the ocean (not the condo's fault, just something to note if you are looking for a quiet beach, this isn't it). This is a pretty busy beach and area, so next time I will definitely choose a beach that is quieter. I would not come back to this particular unit, but we still enjoyed our stay to Myrtle Beach overall.

It was after 5:30 before we were given our keys. They were supposedly still cleaning the unit. We arrived to find the entry so full of dirty linens that we had difficulty getting our luggage in. The housekeeper was on her phone every time that I saw her. In all fairness, at least once was related to work. She was asking someone if she should take the soiled linens with her when she left. Neither bed was made. The bed in one room was never made up. Housekeeping informed my husband that she was given the incorrect linens and that someone would be back soon with the correct size. We stayed for 10 days and never saw housekeeping again. The blinds were missing slats in both bedrooms and the master bedroom blinds had several that were a couple of inches shorter than the others, which allowed a gap of light at the bottom. There was a portion of a slider door propped up on the main balcony. The location of the property is very convenient. It was directly opposite Barefoot Landing and our unit did deliver the amazing ocean view promised.

Awesome View of Ocean and Estuary from North Tower

We have stayed at Ocean Creek Resort many times over the last 20 years. It never disappoints. Gated community for good walks and biking on quiet streets. Outside the gates, you are right across from Barefoot Landing , and near several restaurants. It is a 0.7 mile walk from the tower! Walmart, and a grocery store are within 5-10 min driving distance. This unit F-11 is right next to the elevators, but we never heard them. We stayed in late Sept, and lightbulbs were still missing ( see previous reviewer from early September ). I replaced most of them myself. But, I didn't replace the two bathroom heat lamps. The blu-ray player didn't work; either too old, or needed a driver update. The bathrooms smelled weird; my wife identified it as mold; I sprayed down the showers, and everything was fine after that. Two great bedrooms, each with a balcony. Main balcony was deep and wide, and had spectactular view of ocean, beach, estuary, bridge, beach pub/restaurant, and pools. This helped during the covid pandemic because you could see when places were crowded. All residents/renters were respectful and followed SC governer guidelines on masks. The main restaurant on Ocean Creek Resort was closed. Fair warning: the rental agency is not the front desk that is on-property. It is 15-20 minutes drive time away, right off of Grissom Parkway in MB. Remember 15-20 minutes for late Sept, and late at night. Plan your arrival and departure times. However, the palmetto agency was very good at communication, and responsive. Example: Ocean Creek property repair team cleaned / cleared all of the kitchen drain pipes ( of all of the "F" units in the North Tower ) on one day. Then, we started the dishwasher on the next day, and leaked all over the dining room carpet. My wife called; palmetto was responsive; they had someone look at it quickly, we couldn't use the kitchen sink or the dishwasher for a day. However, palmetto moved us to another vrbo rental unit that was not at Ocean Creek, but at a very comparable property called Kingston Plantation. Three miles away, so not the exact location. Condo was not overlooking the beach, so not the same view. The relocated condo had the same number of bedrooms, and every room was much bigger, and had nicer/newer decorations. The property was also gated to control car traffic for those walks / bike rides on quiet streets. I suspect that we got lucky with vacancies at the end of Sept. All-in-all, great condo, & palmetto treated us well.

Stay in the North Tower

Enjoyed our stay with the ocean view however the unit needs some TLC. We counted 9 light bulbs that were missing or needed to be replaced. Reported to office but never replaced. Initially had AC problems but was corrected.
