Le logement est situé au coeur du centre historique d'Uzès, au premier étage d'un immeuble du 16ème siècle, sur la Place aux Herbes. Les hauts-plafonds à la française, les sols en barres de Montpellier, les équipements haut de gamme, les grandes chambres et salles de bain, vous assureront un séjour dépaysant et agréable.
Le salon donne directement, au travers de ces 3 grandes ouvertures lumineuses, sur la place aux herbes, tandis que les chambres se situent dans une rue plus calme de l'autre côté de l'immeuble.
L'appartement est entièrement équipé, lave vaisselle, lave linge, sèche linge, tout petit électroménager...
Tout inclus: ménage en fin de séjour, draps et serviettes et toutes charges

Felt like home in the heart of France!

As a avid traveler with nearly 100 countries ticked off the list, I have to say, this apartment was one of, if not the best 5 night stay. The listing was completely accurate and the place better equipped than most homes. The location is authentic as you get in France. Uzes is charming and a bit over priced for m terms of food… but with that kitchen and daily markets feet fromyour door step, gourmets meals and fantastic wine each day.

Perfectly located, exquisitely furnished, very comfortable apartment with two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. While the second bedroom and bathroom are perfectly lovely, the master bedroom and bathroom are baronial. The kitchen is better than the kitchen in my home. "Fully equipped" doesn't do it justice. We couldn't look for something--no matter how odd--that we didn't find. The building, as you would expect, is old. There is no elevator. We're in our 70s and found the one flight of stairs a challenge; but younger, healthy people should have no problem. Also, be aware that the apartment is on several "levels"--there are one or two shallow steps almost everywhere, so tread carefully! All things considered, this was the best rental I've had from VRBO.

Wonderful Break

We both knew Uzès was lovely having visited the small historic town before. We even had an inkling that the apartments over looking the Place Des Herbes would most likely be special, but this apartment exceeded all expectations. being very grand in a traditional French style with an unbeatable location overlooking the bustling Saturday market. On what was a very special anniversary my wife thought it the best short break she had ever had.

Perfectly located and beautifully classy

This is a beautifully decorated apartment with lots of elegant amenities. The photos are precisely accurate. Ample space and large rooms. Paid Parking is close by and very safe. Lots of boutiques and cafes all around the square, you will feel like a local. Perfect spot for day tripping and visiting many sites. Would recommend this La Belle Vie 100%

My husband and I were travelling with another couple. The apartment was perfect for us with 2 equally good sized ensuited bedrooms. The location was excellent so central and it was a real buzz looking out on the market square of Uzès. The renovated decor is gorgeous, so even when it rained it was a joy to stay inside. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped.

The perfect French getaway

This was the classic French apartment beautifully done and in the very best location, right on the market Place d’ Herbes. Open those windows and hear the markets, the chatter, the people enjoying their meals at lovely restaurants, the children playing, the live music on the square. It reminds me of Neil Diamonds song, “What a Beautiful Noise.” The apartment is very comfortable and well stocked. Thank you Dominique for a beautiful 3 week stay. It will be a memory that will be cherished.

Lovely place in an idyllic location. Old meets new looking directly down on the fountain and square - amazing! Wonderful place to spend time in Uzés - highly recommend! So nice meeting Rainey (sp?) and chatting about her history there and in the US! WiFi box was out so no internet for a day or TV the whole time - only time we missed it was for the Germany/England soccer match 😞 but we worked it out with our own stuff.

2 Couples Vacationing in France

We enjoyed a most wonderful time in Uzes at this palatial apartment. Superbly appointed and decorated. All you need for a relaxing stay. Elegant but cozy. The bedding is gorgeous and comfortable. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. Our companions are superb cooks and were delighted to have everything they needed at their fingertips! The view overlooking the plaza and fountain is a constant photo op. The street cafe dining is delicious and convenient. And to top it off, a Saturday Market moved in, without a sound at 6:00AM, to entertain and temp us all day! Our host, Dominique, was great! She responded quickly to our inquiries when we first made the reservation a couple months ago. She met us promptly at checking and took care of us during our stay. We cannot thank her enough. We really don’t want this secret to get out, because we plan on returning soon!

Exquisite decor, stunning location, not a thing out of place!

Having reviewed previous tenants' reviews, and the bio of the apartment with the pictures included, we were very excited to secure our 2 week tenure in this beautiful apartment right in the heart of Uzes. Imagine our delight on arrival to find the photos did not do it justice! A welcoming bottle of French wine awaited the weary travellers. The apartment is located in the Place eau Herbes, where the twice weekly market is held - right under our window! Apart from our personal requirements and food, every need was anticipated, with quality linen, fixtures and fittings. To our delight, even the knives in the kitchen were super sharp which my husband (the chef) was very pleased about as he normally brings his own when we travel. Management were incredibly helpful were needed, and by the time our 2 weeks came to a close, we felt we had been living "at home" in our own apartment. A wonderful feeling. Our highest recommendations for anyone considering visiting this amazing Village and needing quality accommodation in an amazing location.

The best apartment we've ever rented! Everything was perfect.

I spent a week here with my family in March 2019. There were four of us and we were extremely pleased. Uzes is very centrally located for visiting the region and the town itself is very charming; especially the market on Saturday morning which is on the square right outside the apartment. There are several restaurants nearby as well as a parking garage which is quite reasonable and safe. We found the keys in a lock box next to the front door and let ourselves in. When we had a question about anything we contacted the owner, Dominique, who was very kind and helpful. All in all, I can't imagine anyone not loving this beautiful, exquisitely restored apartment, full of character, good taste and all the most modern, top of the line appliances. Although located on a big square in a pedestrian area, the apartment was very quiet at night. The beds and bedding were top quality and all the furniture beautiful and functional. Without any hesitation, we highly recommend this apartment and will definitely come back when we return to Provence. Sincerely, John (Paris) and family (USA)

We absolutely loved this apartment!

This apartment is lovely in every way! Perfect for 2 couples. Both bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and the living area and kitchen are exactly as pictured~such beautiful French décor and a wonderful kitchen with all modern appliances. We would walk to the boulangeries around town each morning, get our croissants & pastries and come back and cook breakfast. We also cooked in several nights. The whole apartment has been restored with exquisite detail. We loved how the tall windows in the main room look out over the village square with the fountain in the center and restaurants and shops all around. At least 3 days of the week we were there, there was a Market Day or Antique Fair with the vendors set up all around the square. On the other days & evenings, our view was like the French version of a Norman Rockwell painting, with couples strolling & children playing or riding their scooters. This location proved to be a great one as well. We took day trips to surrounding towns and villages such as Avignon, Arles, Nimes, and the Pont du Gard. A wonderful French experience that we will always remember fondly.

What a gem!

My husband and I spent a week at this beautiful property. It is right in the square of Place aux Herbes. The pictures online are 100% accurate. This place is fantastic. The location is perfect. We stayed the end of January into February. The weather was perfection; sunny and in the 60’s. We were able to participate in the Wednesday and Saturday market- which is just a treat. Be sure to book accordingly. The apartment is charming. Dominique has provided every amenity you could possibly need. The kitchen is stocked with all the basics. The open kitchen/living room and dining room is light and airy. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are spacious. This was such a perfect home away from home. I didn’t want to leave and am plotting my return. The apartment is beautifully decorated. Dominique has a book documented the renovations of the apartment and you can see all the effort that went into the property. Dominique was very responsive at every step of our visit. She is a great host. She left a bottle of wine and espresso- she doesn’t know it but she couldn’t have offered a better host gift! We did get a rental car so we could drive to other locations. You could also take the bus. We just didn’t want to be on anyone’s schedule so we opted for the rental. A car park is very nearby and very reasonable rates. We spent a month in Europe- Uzès and this apartment is our favorite place. I hope to return and will definitely do a month here next time.
