Vues de la rivière depuis la plupart des fenêtres. À deux heures de Baltimore et à une heure et demie de Washington DC, cet endroit offre la possibilité de vivre de nombreuses expériences naturelles et culturelles. Situé près de la première capitale du Maryland, St. La ville de Mary, ses sites historiques commémoratifs de la guerre coloniale et de la guerre civile, et le centre d'essais navals des États-Unis, St. Le comté de Mary offre quelque chose pour tout le monde. Weekend getaway

Quaint home with great views of the river. Clean and well taken care of. Owners live next door and we’re very accommodating. Would highly recommend this for a nice getaway.

Wonderful, restful and beautiful stay.

This is the 4th time we come and we love it just as much as the first time. A great escape from Washington DC for a few days with such an amazing and peaceful view on the Chesapeake Bay.

McKays Beach

A very nice, quiet, and private weekend get away to celebrate a B-Day! Very clean and well stocked. It was a perfect spot for some quiet, uninterrupted fishing and college football. The weather was perfect. We will more than likely return for another stay!

LORETTO AT THE POTOMAC

Four roots enthusiasts enjoyed every minute in this charmingly modern-traditional bungalow, with the river literally at our feet and a wonderful blue heron to greet us each morning.

Loretto Community

Four elders on a "roots" journey enjoyed two nights on the shores of the Potomac, lovely, comfortable and convenient. We had to change our plans twice, which our host accommodated with good humor. Everything about the house was a pleasure.

Lovely stay in St Mary’s Co

A perfectly quaint place right on the water. My only complaint is there was no tub for the kids to bath in and the shower backed up a little, other than that it was great. Would definitely stay there again!

Quiet Retreat

This location was a wonderful place to get away from life. The sunsets are great and it's very quiet. It's right on the water and perfect for kayaking. We were able to do day trips to Calvert Cliffs and Historic St Mary's City/St Mary's College of Maryland. The house was comfortable and clean. The owners provided a lot of items that we needed. We hope to return in the future.

Perfect hidden gem!

Comfortable two bedroom, fully equipped spacious cottage with an incredible view of the Potomac and its breathtaking sunsets! We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. It could not have been nicer! We didn’t want to leave…. Fully equipped with linens and full kitchen accessories! The four of us simply loved our heavenly weekend!! Even enjoyed use of the kayak and paddle board!!!

Perfect spot by the river!

The hosts, who were helpful and readily available, have done a wonderful job of renovating this little cottage to be spacious and bright. Every detail is well thought-out, with comfort and coziness in mind, including comfy beds, plush towels, easy access, and enjoyable outdoor space. The beach is the right size for relaxing and swimming. This was a brief trip with a friend, and I’ll return to this cottage in the future, for sure!

Another lovely stay

This was our third stay and as ever we had a lovely time. It's the perfect place just to hang out, get the little one paddling on the beach and enjoying the light filled open plan interior. We've already booked our next trip!

Beautiful, restful stay

This was our second stay at Lauri and Scott’s place and it was just as wonderful as expected. We had great weather and so were able to sit outside and watch the waves, the sunset, and make s’mores. Our kids loved the beach and would get up and play in their pajamas there. And we even made a trip into DC and back. We love it and hope to be back!

Peaceful Potomac Getaway

We fell in love with the Potomac getaway! It was so beautiful and peaceful, with an amazing view. Clean and comfortable and Lauri and Scott were the perfect hosts. We enjoyed the beach and there is so much to do in the area. We can’t wait to go back!

We recently purchased the cottage next door from family friends. We set about a year converting it to open, airy cottage. We have lived in this neighborhood for over 30 years and are happy to share this amazing and magical place with you. Scott is a retired Navy Test Pilot and currently working in the Electric Vehicle Industry and Lauri is a Yoga Therapist and Artist. Many of her paintings hang in the cottage. We are happy to help you make your stay as memorable as possible. Enjoy!

Valley Lee Maryland has been home to us since 1984. The home next to the cottage was our first home we ever purchased. This is one of the most beautiful spots on earth. We have travel extensively but for pure peace and beauty this is it for us.

You can see some body of water from every room in the house. The living room faces west and the sunsets paint the house with every color you can imagine. You can swim, float, borrow our kayaks, fish, crab and just sit and gaze at the beauty around you. Enjoy a picnic or a cookout and dine as the sunset over the Potomac.
