I loved the location, private beach and how close to downtown eagle river it was. Property was quiet and very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay very much.
My family had a great time and enjoyed the house. We had fires at night and the free firewood was a nice touch along with the Brio water system. The dock slip came in handy as one of our members had a pontoon boat. It was easy to get around from the location on both land and water.
This was a great condo for our family trip to Eagle River! The entire place was so clean and well stocked with lots of games and great kitchen appliances. The property manager was so great to work with and answered all questions quickly! The boat slip was perfect for easy access each day to hit the water and explore. Our son loved the beach and playground too! Very fun trip!
Voyageur Views is a cute tri-level condo-style stay that is plenty spacious and has beautiful views of Voyageur Lake. Lovely electric fireplace in the living room adds both aesthetic and plenty of warmth. Large kitchen with double oven for entertaining too. Fun weekend up north!
Spent a wonderful week with family. Excellent location for access to the chain of lakes! Great option of renting a boat across the chain from the condo unit. Very clean with all of the amenities!! Highly recommend!!
I was disappointed in several aspects of the property.
Cleanliness:
The carpeting on the stairways is filthy. It makes for a horrible first impression entering the unit.
There was dried food on the floor on the main level.
There were children's fingerprints on all of the glass doors.
Several of the light fixtures, windows and tucked away places had cobwebs and spider webs. The unit is in need of refreshing and a deep cleaning.
Amenities
One of the blinds on the sliding glass doors in the Master was broken, stuck halfway up. I was told that they always broke and that a replacement was on order but would not be available until after our stay. We had to improvise a covering to insure our privacy. The blind on the sliding glass door on the ground floor was missing. We were told that since this was not a sleeping area, none was required. I found this odd since there was a bracket and this was the only unit in the building that did not have a covering on that door. Keep in mind that the bedrooms on the lower floor all share that bathroom and the hallway is exposed to the outside.
There was an issue with the cable service and none of the televisions would function until Tuesday. We checked in on Saturday. Even when a solution was provided, only the TVs in the bedrooms that were being used (2 of 4) and the living room were made functional.
Be advised if you are a Sprint customer. There is virtually no cell service and although there are several phones in the condo, they don't work.
This unit shares a common wall and door that can be opened into the adjoining unit should you have a very large group that wanted to have adjoining condos. The walls are thin. We were able to hear every bass note, every drum beat from the stereo that was on nearly all day. It's not that the music was being played that loudly, the sound carries. The folks in the adjoining unit did ask about the music.
Finally, during the first part of our stay one of the units was occupied by college age men. I'm assuming that they were connected to the owner of the unit since after they left, their boat remained. One evening we were treated to a drunken argument that nearly became an all out brawl.
I rented this same unit in 2011 when it was managed by The Conger Collection. The unit was pristine. It has slipped considerably since that time. I was left with the impression that this unit is being used to generate income with a minimal amount of investment for maintenance.
I would not recommend renting this unit.
I Loved the peace and quiet. The house was in a very friendly environment where everyone spoke too you. I loved how the rooms were very comfortable for my family . I also was very pleased with the kitchen. But for and all over review everything was perfect . I will rent again was just talking about it for next year.
