Vues sur le lac et la montagne - 2 chambres, 3/4 salle de bain

Juste en haut de la colline de Carillon Point, cet appartement privé de niveau inférieur est dans une maison dans le quartier haut de gamme de Houghton à South Kirkland. C'est à un pâté de maisons d'un sentier de 6 milles. Vous adorerez l'endroit avec son emplacement calme et sa belle entrée de jardin. L'appartement est de 1200 pieds carrés 2 chambres, 3/4 salles de bain avec grand espace salon / salle à manger, plus un espace terrasse couvert privé de 200 pieds carrés avec une vue magnifique sur le lac Washington, les montagnes olympiques et l'horizon de Seattle au loin. Il a une petite kitchenette, mais mignonne et fonctionnelle avec de nouveaux appareils compacts (pas de lave-vaisselle, élimination). Il y a une politique stricte de calme de 22h à 6h.

J'ai deux chiens qui n'ont aucun accès à l'unité, mais ont libre cours sur l'arrière-cour clôturée. Ils sont parfois actifs à partir de 6h30, mais des heures calmes s'appliquent également à eux. Ils aboient quand je rentre à la maison via le garage et quand quelqu'un frappe à ma porte d'entrée, mais les invités en bas sont généralement ignorés.

Wonderful house and location

Really enjoyed our stay. We were visiting local family and appreciated being able to walk into downtown Kirkland along the waterfront. We hope to stay here again in the summer!

Great place in Kirkland

We loved our stay at Karen’s place. Very comfortable place with everything you need. The view from the spacious patio is awesome. Location is very convenient to both Seattle and the east side communities. We would definitely stay there again.

Brother week in Kirkland and Seattle

My brothers and I very much enjoyed the home. It is a clean space in an excellent location and the beds are comfortable. Karen was very friendly and accomodating. The view is incredible, with a western sunset exposure. Close to all that Kirkland and Bellevue have to offer.

Beautiful Garden View

Looking out from the patio you see Lake Washington framed by the owner's garden. Sitting on the patio in the evening, it is quiet and peaceful. If you want to read a book or work on your own novel, this is the perfect setting.The living room is spacious and comfortable with a large flat-screen TV. In the TV cabinet, there is an electronic fireplace that warms the room on chilly Northwest nights. A large dining table and chairs can accommodate a family. While the kitchen may seem small, there are several electric cooking appliances to prepare a meal at home. The washer and dryer in the kitchen help keep up with the laundry.The host provides a coffee maker and Starbucks coffee, plus a selection of snack bars. The bedrooms are quiet and the main bedroom is huge with a big closet. There are supposed to be dogs and chickens but we never heard them.The neighborhood is quite nice with some amazing houses and landscaping. A wide trail is just a few minutes from the property and it is a short walk down to the shore of Lake Washington. We didn't walk to Kirkland village but it's not far. Lots of great restaurants there with a waterfront vibe when walking around.Across the freeway is Bridle Trails State Park with pathways through forest and ferns. A few miles South brings you to the edge of Bellevue. Less than 15 minutes North on the freeway and you are in the wine mecca of Woodinville. Plenty of microbreweries and distilleries are there too.Great place to stay!

Was the perfect location

We had a great time staying at this lovely home. It's in the perfect location and has a lovely view of the water from the patio. It's very homey and comfortable. We were able to walk to a local restaurant to have lunch by the water and there's a great grocery store near by. Communication with the owner was great. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and peaceful!

Our stay and this property was delightful! The space was immaculate and spacious - exactly as advertised. The patio was comfortable and peaceful with a fantastic view of a beautiful garden and Lake Washington! The owner lives upstairs but we barely heard her or her dog. Our stay was fantastic!

Great Experience

This was a terrific apartment and our timing couldn’t have been better for enjoying the blooming garden of our host, Karen. She was a delight… kind and responsive, yet not intrusive. The views from the property of the skyline and water were spectacular.the apartment is well supplied and convenient, and Kirkland made for a centralized location to the sites we visited. We’d certainly stay there again!

Lovely if chilly!

This was a lovely property, both inside and out. The beds and furniture were comfy. The kitchenette was nearly a kitchen thanks to all the small appliances and cookware, plus a nice selection of spices, snacks, and hot drinks. The view was city and sunset. Downsides: Cold and Noise. It was kept at a very low temperature. There are good quality space heaters and an electric fireplace. But the electrical circuits are apparently delicate. There are notices that you should turn off/unplug lamps and appliances before using the fireplace, and not run too many appliances in the kitchen at the same time. The result was that we felt we could only warm/light one room at a time. But there were lots of extra blankets and throws everywhere! There was a lot of sound transfer from upstairs to downstairs, so probably the other way too and that felt awkward. There are quiet hours at night, but don't expect quiet during the day or evening. It did still feel visually private if not audibly. Overall a really nice stay, and the only reason I'd not stay again is that I prefer standalone structures for quiet and privacy.

Delightful getaway in this beautiful neighborhood!

Karen’s home is lovely with all of the comforts we needed for our getaway. The trail, just a few steps from her home, was wonderful and it was fun to walk and look at the beautiful homes near by. We visited a few wineries in The District and recommend Ste Michelle, it was stunning!

Sweet hideaway in a beautiful neighborhood

I'm so glad we chose to Vrbo outside the city rather than get a hotel in the middle of it. This was a beautiful neighborhood with a great, well-kept apartment space that truly felt like it was its own private home. The owner communicated clearly so we knew what to do, and we had no issues while we were there with our young kids!
