We had a few ocean activities like snorkeling, deep sea fishing so live next to the harbor is perfect. We also have a 4-month old boy, first floor works perfect with stroller. The only thing that concerned a bit is this property share the same water drain line with upstairs and it seems the upstairs drainage line is too narrow and it drained water everywhere the last day when we have no idea where it’s from. The property management called plumber and fixed it in a day.

Centrally Located For Activities & Site Seeing

Ziplining, horse back riding, snorkeling, eating out, shopping - we did it ALL! Condo was the perfect place to "come home" to & relax/regroup for the next outing, plus we took advantage of the on-site BBQ & had a family dinner. All our activities were in Kihei, Lahaina, & Waikapu. Can't wait to return!

Great Location and Hassle Free stay

We have visited Maui many years in a row and always stay in Maalaea. This unit was tidy and had essentials. Other units often have snorkel gear and other beach items. This can be welcome, or it can use up all of your available closet space. The same is true of furniture; we had all the seating and desk space we needed but also did t feel like we were walking through an obstacle course of furniture. (And with 4 people living in close quarters for multiple weeks, this is especially noticeable) We are returning next year and looking forward to it.

Relaxed and fun

The location of the property was very convenient for us. The atmosphere of the property was amazing and had everything we needed during our stay. The condo had what we needed. The buggy boards and vest and other beach equipment were definitely very convenient and we appreciate the accommodations. We did not know that the condo did not have central air Conditioning, but we made it work. The front room was very hot and the fan did not really help. My kid end up in the coach. The master bathroom was clotted up and somewhat dirty when we check in. I report to the house management and they responded right away. I wished I did that sooner. The outdoor patio cushions may need to be replaced. There are hardly any support and are uncomfortable. We used the patio a lot and it would be nice to have better cushions. We enjoyed our time here

Condo in need of updating & repair

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Have stayed in Kanai a Nalu many times over many years. Enjoy the complex and love the location. However, condo #106 was disappointing. AC is old, rusting, noisy & inadequate. The old refrigerator was noisy, inadequate and the ice maker inoperative. The shower featured substantial mold around the perimeter. The kitchen appeared to have been supplied (cook ware, glasses, plates, etc) with whatever could be salvaged at Good Will. Early check-in and late check-out not permitted because of covid cleaning requirements yet the floor under and behind the couch featured bottle caps, dust and dirt?? Lounging on the lanai difficult because of very uncomfortable furniture featuring totally worn-out cushions. TV & internet a total tangle of wires. This would be a very nice condo if the owners would spend a few dollars updating and looking at it from the perspective of a renter.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I loved the ocean front patio, yard and pool. Walking distance to small convenience marts and several restaurants. Our unit had boogie boards, a Styrofoam cooler and beach towels for us to use. Management was quick to respond to our need for batteries. A quiet neighborhood.

Clean convenient location

Super clean condo. Having 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and laundry machines was really nice. The booking and check in process was super easy. Lots of great notifications keeping us informed.

Maui Vacation

The condo was clean and comfortable. Sheets were cheap. One air conditioner in main space so sleeping was a bit warm but overall the experience was very good. Location and grounds are gorgeous. Beach very close and could hear the ocean at night. Very relaxing. Sea turtles in the surf every day. Water was warm and clear enough to snorkel. Mike the manager was super cool. Cute little geckos everywhere.

Perfect for our Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect arrangement for our whole family - grandparents plus two families - total of 6 adults and 8 children. We made the reservations by phone and the office was very helpful in finding the best arrangement for us. We had 3 condos, all first floor, all in a row so we could easily go back and forth. The condos were all clean and well supplied with basic amenities, including beach towels and in some cases boogie boards and lawn chairs. All had ceiling fans and the air conditioning worked well when needed. We also had two floor fans in our unit, but one was missing the cord. The management came over, but could not figure out what happened to it so they purchased a new fan which was waiting in our condo when we returned that day. The location was ideal - easy access to various places in either direction. The grounds and pool were lovely (just a few steps out the patio door) and the uncrowded beach was just a few steps beyond the center lawn area. Overall, it was the ideal location and accommodations for our family vacation!

Could have been smoother- no beach access!

We came here for my family’s annual trip. I did not arrive until past midnight so check in was nice because it was all done yourself. The first thing we noticed when we got up was there was no beach access. There was the beach right there, just about 20-30 yards out our back patio but it was completely blocked off. And even if it wasn’t, there was hardly any BEACH for you to relax on with a chair or something. This was extremely sad for my mom and aunts. We had a lot of random issues, the doorknob broke, when we arrived the toilet seat in the guest bath was COMPLETELY off the toilet, we didn’t have any dishwasher soap etc. it was easy to contact the property manager, as we just texted and someone would come that day to fix the issue, but it was annoying to worry about. Especially when our door wouldn’t lock and we had left the place for the day. Pros- it was clean. Quiet. The entire kitchen was pretty well stocked! There is a washer and dryer in the unit. Overall it was an alright stay. Could’ve been more smooth but the place was clean!
