My family had a wonderful time. It was very convenient to have access to the canal and a pool. We had plenty of space and the property was clean. We will definitely be staying again.

We stayed for a night for Father’s Day weekend and everything was pretty clean. There was A/C in every bedroom. Plenty of parking for a big family like mine. We enjoyed our stay

Overall Rating: 5/10 StarHere's my honest review.First, the pictures online look great, but unfortunately, they do not accurately represent the property's current condition. The place is definitely in need of some updates, including fresh paint, new cabinetry, replacement of damaged doors, and repairs to furniture. Some of the couch cushions had rips and tears, and several of the beds were uncomfortable.The biggest selling point of this property is the pool. If you're traveling with a larger group and want somewhere to relax, swim, and hang out, this could be a good option. The pool definitely made our vacation more enjoyable.However, if you don't need a pool or aren't traveling with multiple people, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Without the pool, I honestly would not consider staying here again.Would I stay here again? Possibly, but only if we had a group of people wanting to enjoy the pool and spend time together. Even then, I would explore other options first.Overall, this property has a lot of potential. With fresh paint, updated cabinetry, repaired furniture, new doors, and more comfortable beds, it could easily be a 10/10 experience.My final rating is 5/10. The pool was great, but for the price we paid, the condition of the property was disappointing compared to what was advertised online.

Excellent location, we loved the dock and being right on the canal. Good value for money in an off peak time, but probably not worth it with peak pricing. The house is sorely in need of work and updates, and the cleanliness was lacking (inside was ok but outside was littered in cigarette butts). The property management company were easy to communicate with and when the pool pump wasn’t working they did send someone out same day to fix it - points awarded there

We spent a lot of money and realized when we arrived, your photos were completely deceiving. This is our annual family beach trip and expect to get what you pay for.We were so disappointed. Perfect property for our beach/fishing getaway! We loved fishing on the canal, and the short drive to Jamaica beach was perfect! The house had great ourdoor space for hanging out, and nice cool AC after a hot day at the beach!

The best thing about this property is the kids loved the pool and there are plenty of (uncomfortable and broken) beds. Internet didn't work upon arrival, called maintenance but ended up fixing it myself. Roaches crawling up walls and on kitchen counters. Specifically asked if there were crab traps and was told yes, but there were none. House needs major updating. Safety gate is broken. Screened in deck is not screened in at all, Fence is not dog proof. Showers are tiny except master bedroom, where the toilet area is tiny.Great location tho! We had a great time despite all these things. The multiple AC units kept the house cool. The downstairs rooms made it easy for elderly guests to enjoy. Quiet neighborhood. Kids fished the whole week!

Family Time

The accommodations were great! There was plenty of room for everyone. There was plenty of things to do at the house, swimming in the pool and fishing from the pier.

Great Stay

This Jamaica Beach house was great! There were 14 of us there and we had an amazing time fishing off the dock and enjoying time on the back porch overlooking the canal! The house was very clean! I had to communicate with the owner during our stay and he replied quickly!
