Nice studio apartment, location is amazing, view on the ocean, quiet. Easy access to different areas on the island. Beautiful courtyard. James, the owner was super helpful with tips and suggestions for activities as well as food options. Highly recommend.
Great Location for Different Part of Island Exploration
First of all a big thank you to James (property owner) who gave us a very helpful tips before we arrived.
We stayed at the top floor in one of the buildings with the view of the courtayard and the ocean. The apartment is very spacious. The kitchen is equipped with all necessities. We ended up having breakfast every morning before hitting the road. Having washer and dryer is very helpful since you can pack lighter and just wash your clothes in the apartment. You can park your car very close to the building or under the canopy, so the car won't get hot. The location is really great if you want to explore the whole island, as we did. Since the main road doesn't loop the island,, you will be always going back the same route. Regardless what type of vacationer you are, the place has it all. Coconut Market Place (open mall with food, souvenirs, tours, good shave ice - JoJo's etc.) is literally in your backyard.
We highly recommend the place for anybody who wants to explore the beautiful Garden Island!
This is a spacious, clean and well-appointed 1-bedroom condo in a beautiful resort right on the beach just south of Kapaa. James was a great host and very helpful. He sent 2 very informative emails about the place after I reserved it, made sure the Resort new I was coming. He then personally called me to offer some tips on calling the resort ahead of time to specify your unit preferences and his recommendations on places and sights to visit on Kauai. We had a great time and his recommendations were spot on. Thank you James for helping make our Christmas so special!
The location is great to have the option of visiting the north and the south, which is exactly what we did. A car rental is necessary if you want to do this. Communication with the owner, James, was very easy and he was very responsive and helpful. Check-in was also easy. The one-bedroom for our family of four worked fine. There was plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary appliances and tools. There was coffee and a box of chocolates set out for our arrival, which was a nice touch. There were no condiments though, so youâll have to buy everything you want to make. The grounds and the pool were well maintained. Overall, I would recommend this place.
I am a timeshare owner in this resort for many years and know the island of Kauai quite well. Living in SoCal, Hawaii is a frequent vacation location and Kauai is my favorite island of all. Having stayed in various locations on the island, this is by far my preferred resort. The resort with the Hukilau Lanai restaurant on site is a perfect combination of fine dining with frequent nightly live entertainment. The adjacent Coconut Market is another bonus for souvenir shopping and eateries. The staff are wonderful and most accommodating in the true spirit of aloha. A resort to get to know and return to again and again as I have.
