Property was great for our group of 10. The house was clean and spacious and was perfect for our ski weekend. Highly recommend and would absolutely rebook for another ski weekend

Family ski trip 2023

Another great family ski vacation in a great vacation home. Mike is a great host and the house has everything you need, especially the wood burning stove. Plenty of room to spread out or gather for family fun. Great location and easy access to Mt Snow.

Ski weekend

A cozy and comfortable house, close to Mt Snow and downtown restaurants. Living areas on first and second floor for adults and kids to chill separately. Well stocked kitchen, and super easy check-in and check-out. The owner was very communicative and helpful, even providing directions and restaurant recommendations.

Awesome MLK wkend

Property was amazing, all of us thought even sweeter in real life than the photos!! Cant say enough about our wonderful mount snow weekend and how great mike was as he provided a personal link to any potential issues that could have come up - which happily nothing went wrong!!

Amazing house in Wilmington

We absolutely loved this house! The split level was perfect for adults and teens but the main floor was perfect for meals and hanging out watching football! Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was full of everything you need to prepare meals at the house. Mike was wonderful and provided great check in information along with touching base during our stay. House is 15 minutes from Mt Snow and close to plenty of restaurants and breweries! Can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic Winter Weekend Retreat

Mike's 'Winter Retreat' was perfect for our family. The house was clean and the images were very accurate for what we got. The club house is a 5 minute drive away, but also worth it to be in this development. We used the fitness room, sitting room and hot tub, great addition for our stay. Mike was a pleasure to work with. If you have a large family looking for a great place to stay minutes from Mount Snow you have found it!

Great spot for a stay in the Berkshires. Clean well maintained house. Mike is a great host and easy to communicate with. This was our second stay here.

Maybe the Ideal Wilmington House

Spotless, roomy, equipped, comfortable inside and out. Built for a big group or maybe 2-3 families, so for our family of four we spread out! Big deck with small propane fire pit, and another campfire spot in a large yard surrounded by trees. Two wood stove fireplaces inside. Kitchen with big table plus a dining room with a big table. Fully and personally decorated. Great location in Chimney Hill, 2 minutes to Harriman Reservoir, 5 minutes to Wilmington village, Chimney Hill clubhouse and Haystack golf club. Michael could not have been more hospitable or accommodating. And I literally cannot think of anything that was missing, wrong or off. This was like your buddy letting you use his mountain house. We'll be back.

Perfect getaway.

Our stay was absolutely incredible. The home was immaculate and filled with everything you would ever need for your stay. Beautiful location and plenty of deck and yard space to enjoy being outdoors. Michael went above and beyond before our trip to make sure we were informed about both the house as well as local eateries and things to do in the area. Great weekend getaway and cannot wait to return!

Great House in a beautiful location.

Stayed here while we attended a music festival in North Adams. It was a great place to prep for our daily adventures and wind down after. Mike was very responsive to any questions we had.

Perfect Vermont Getaway

This house was perfect for our Mount Snow ski weekend. The home was clean, comfortable and had plenty of space for our family to relax after skiing. We especially liked the finished lower level for the teens to hang out. Mike is a great host and was very helpful in at check in, and had a great tip for us on a local restaurant. Thanks Mike! We would definitely stay here again.

Inviting home a short drive from town

By far and away, this is one of the best properties that my family and I have stayed at! The house is huge--great for a multi-family trip, but the spaces are cozy and inviting. The host thought of everything--right down to the multiple Duraflame logs for the two wood burning stoves. Unlike other houses, check out was simply to lock up and walk away, leaving the post-vacation chores to the cleaning company. The property is in a community but still feels secluded, and close enough to town for entertainment. Comfy beds, great seating areas, and my friends were very impressed! Looking forward to future visits when in southern Vermont!

Excellent place to stay

We loved this house! It was cozy, yet spacious enough for 10 of us - including kids and teens who had their own space downstairs. The town has wonderful restaurants (we highly recommend Maple Leaf Tavern and Dot's Restaurant!) and unique stores. The owner was available for questions and got back to us immediately. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and got in OK. Some of the furniture was brand new, the woodstove added warmth and atmosphere. We would rent here again - any time of year!

Great time in VT!

We had a great time at this house, in spite of some very hot weather for a couple of the days we were there- thank goodness for the cool basement! We loved having the grill and firepit access and there was plenty of room for everyone with our group of 9. The upper floor rails are not toddler-safe, so we were just extra careful with our almost 2 year old. It was completely fine for our older children. Mike was very responsive and helpful with suggestions of things to do in the area. The community pool was nice, we loved the hike up Haystack Mtn. (3 hr. round trip with kids), and we had some fun day trips. I highly recommend a visit to Old Jelly Mill Falls (about 30 min. away) on a hot day- my kids loved cooling off in the cascading waterfalls.

Great house!

The perfect weekend getaway! We met college friends & families here, as it was a halfway point for all of us. There was plenty of space to accommodate 9 of us, 4 teens & 5 adults. The back deck was perfect space to grill & have dinner. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare big meals for everyone. In addition, the location was great! The house is secluded & felt like we had privacy, and was very quiet location. Wilmington is a beautiful little town & close by. We highly recommend hiking Mt. Olga at Molly Stark State Park. It’s beautiful, & easy for all levels of hikers! The views from the fire tower were amazing! We were very happy with our stay!

Clean and efficient

Close to Mount Snow, clean and kitchen was organized and well equipped. Bedrooms are not large but there were enough beds for our party of 10. House was also extremely extremely warm (almost to a fault) but this is better than being cold right. My recommendation to owner is to change their door key code after each stay.

Amazing spot!

This property was perfect for a ski weekend getaway with friends! Michael was an amazing host who called prior to check in with all Instructions and need to know information! The kitchen had everything you need to cook at home and the living room area was spacious and cozy with the wood stove! Just a few minutes from mount snow, this was the perfect ski cabin and we could not be happier with our stay!

Fantastic stay, lots of room and space, short drive from Mt. Snow

Couple friends and I spent the weekend at the house over the holiday weekend and it was great. Mike, the owner, was extremely accessible and responsive. Lots of space for everyone to spread out and tons of beds to sleep in. Would recommend

Perfect long weekend

This house was perfect for our family of six. A relatively short distance from our home considering how quiet, secluded and rustic the cabin felt. Very clean, well equipped and comfortable..not to mention how convenient the location was to stores and restaurants. Plenty of nearby recreation..scenic lakes and trails, many of which were accessible right from the yard. Kids loved it as much as we did, we’re hoping to go back again soon!

Great For Family

Communication with owner is great. Always available. House is supplied with everything you need to get started. Plenty of room for everyone. The downstairs is particularly suitable for the kids with its living room and two bedrooms. There is a stream and hiking trails nearby for exploring. We all enjoyed our stay.

This place is amazing. The owner was very easy to work with. The house was clean and easily accessible with a lot of parking. I would definitely return.
