Very peaceful and pleasant.. Enjoyed all the games and trails.. Easy to start fire in fire place and had all essentials for cooking and bedding.. Very warm and cozy!!
Great stay, easy location to get to the lake. A lot of space for kids to play. Host was very prompt in responding and was accommodating to let us start our weekend an earlier check in time. Would definitely stay again.
We loved everything about this comfortable cabin. Living spaces are huge, beds are plentiful and comfy, kitchen is fully stocked with equipment/utensils, and outdoor spaces couldnât be more perfect. The deck is perfectly furnished, grill was easy to use, and a bunch of games are available (both indoor and outdoor). On top of all that, there are amazing hiking trails with cute little touches everywhere. And the lake is super close. Iâm hoping we can stay here again sometime.
We spent a weekend at this lovely place to celebrate my gfs birthday at the lake. From the very beginning communication was amazing and I couldnât be more thankful. This place is beautiful inside and outside. Everyone really enjoyed it here from the kids to the adults. It has everything you need. The drive to the bass lake is so short and convenient it really made our weekend extremely enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice cabin stay.
Owners were very kind and quick to respond when we found the AC unit in the loft upstairs not to be working. They let us use their other rental which is across the driveway from the other while they fixed the AC. Property had lots of fun for the kids to explore, including an Alice in Wonderland playground! Cabin only has one bathroom so that was the draw back, but if you get the second unitâŠit makes it easier with 2 families!
Had a great mini vacation up at Bass Lake. Kids 2-8 had plenty to do at this property. Hidden gems all over the 9 acres. Nobody wanted to go home and wife wants to book again. Had plenty of room for the bass boat and only a 5 minute drive to the boat ramp. Canât beat it.
Great spot with lots of sleeping space. Kids loved exploring outside and the Harry Potter closet was a favorite. Good kitchen space and cookware/appliances. Nice proximity to the lake. Overall very happy with our experience! No washer or dryer and only one bathroom are the only downsides.
My family and I enjoyed being there , the cabin has everything you need. In the kitchen there are pans, a coffee maker, rice cooker, blender, waffle maker and other useful items that we used to spoil my daughter the morning of her 20th birthday. There are also baking items if you like to bake. There was one thing that we didn't quite understand to use which was the shower. The owners were kind enough to come down and show us how to use it, just pull the shower handle and water will come out! Other than that, the place was a great experience for my family.
My family and I had the best time. We enjoyed the hiking trails and all the indoor/outdoor games the cabin had to offer. There was plenty of bedding and room for all of us. The Harry Potter room was super cute! We LOVED the themed areas, especially Alice in wonderland garden. The kitchen had everything we needed to make all our meals. I couldn't have asked for more. We will definitely be back!
The cabin sits on the side of a hill with 8 acres full of trails, animals and peace & quiet. The adjacent cottage and car port are the only buildings to be seen. Turkeys, mule deer and a variety of birds were frequent visitors especially drawn to the water feature (small fountain-waterfall) in the front yard. There's a large deck off the cabin's front and another about 50 yds. away - both with plenty of comfortable seating. Children have an outdoor theater with a dirt floor, tables and chairs and a delightful array of Alice in Wonderland themed decorations around the it's perimeter.
Inside, you're provided with anything you could possibly need from a wall of books to first aid supplies and utensils. Wonderful views thanks surround you thanks to plentiful windows with comfortable seating to enjoy them. In addition, there's a panoply of interesting objects scattered throughout the cabin reflective of the area. Downstairs two bedrooms accommodate four people while upstairs sleeps five, however there's only one bathroom - the cabin's only real drawback. For that reason we would recommend no more than four stay there.
While 23 miles from Yosemite's south entrance was further than ideal, we found plenty of worthwhile activities around Bass Lake (hiking and dining) and Oakhurst (groceries, shopping and hiking).
The owner was most responsive to any need or questions we had.
