âI just want to rent a cabin in the woods with a hot tub and great viewsâŠ.â Pretty much sums it up! If youâre looking for the perfect getaway, this is just the place. Situated in the Sierra National Forest and 5 minutes to beautiful Bass Lake for swimming, boating and hiking activities!
Me my husband and our 2 small dogs had the privilege of enjoying 3 nights is this awesome private cozy house! This home is well stocked with thoughtful necessities! complete privacy for the hot tub, large serene yard (we saw a deer!!) and fantastic roomy deck! Cannot say enough great things about our stay only a few minutes drive to the lake this is a perfect place for a beautiful getaway! Thank you for sharing your lovely home!
My family has stayed at this home about 7 times over the years. We used to stay here when the property was owned by another owner. We enjoyed our stay this time just like our previous visits. It's very peaceful. Our family feels very much at home here and hope to stay there again soon. We all love this home.
My family lives in Oakhurst, and my group and I were planning on visiting Oakhurst, Bass Lake, and Yosemite. The location of this home was perfect for traveling between the different areas. The hot tub and Yosemite maps and brochures were great additions!
Lovely property & accommodations. Very close to lake with a beautiful drive in & out. Every day we viewed out the patio, deer, fox, wild turkey, coyote & verityâs of birds. The jacuzzi made for a nice soak after hiking to the various waterfalls in the area. Our host, Diana went above and beyond to bring my wife a hair dryer so she could do her hair nice for her b-day dinner at Duceyâs on the lake. This was a great trip as we had never been to bass lake and would love to return next year.
A very thought-through and cozy house with a great terrace overlooking woods and a spacious backyard with a fire pit. Our family of four and a dog enjoyed staying here and had plenty of room for everyone.
Everything was. Great. Just let you know only on big mirror in bathroom. So take one if you some one is using the bathroom. Other than that it had everything you to cook pans and all. Thank you đ
House was super cute, warm and cozy. When first walking in the door, as a family felt like we were "home" The house was fully stock with the essentials and even a little more. The basement game room/ extra room was perfect for my young adults 20yrs & 19yr to make their "den" in. There is a really cute poker table, chips and cards. There were plenty of towels, hand towels and wash cloths. Soap for your body, hands and hair too. The Bathroom was the cutest and the shower room was awesome. The Queen bed is a comfy Beautyrest with and adj base that raises your head. (Being in the Mattress industry for a number of yrs I was very very impressed and comfortable!) The Twins are an all foam bed in the box style mattress. My Mother in Law was very comfortable on them. They are not too soft or firm. The queen is a nice medium feel. The Hot Tub was such a delight to enjoy especially in the Morning with my Coffee. Oh, the coffee selection was amazing and the options for cream were wonderful. (Not knowing we did bring our own. We do consume a lot of coffee so it was a great idea we did) We watched the covey's of Quail, Wild Turkey and the many Blue Jays. In the Evenings, we enjoyed watching the Deer with their baby's graze and wander. The drive to the Lake is only a few mins ( 5-10 mins) depending on where you are going. We enjoyed taking a nice drive around the whole lake that took a while longer of course.
Diane was more than communicative and helpful with all questions. Even accommodating us for one extra day since we were enjoying so very much. We have never done a Vacation rental home before, this was our first time. The home and Diane exceeded our expectations making it a wonderful experience. We will defiantly be back!
Diane, the host, is wonderful and responsive. The home is nestled in the hills about 2 miles from Bass Lake, with a resident Blue Jay to greet you as you pull in. The hot tub was clean and ready to jump in. The home is comfortable and welcoming. Highly recommend.
This home is very comfortable and nicely appointed. Details have been thought out. The backyard is peaceful and from the deck you only see trees. The hot tub was nice and the kitchen and bath are in excellent condition and style. Large driveway. The twin bed quality is ok for kids. Some local tips and house instructions could be added, like where to get groceries when the lake is a zoo on July 4th weekend with no parking! (North Fork works.) Bass Lake is very close including the boat launch. Miller's landing sells the lake permit, gas and good ice cream. We ate lunch at Marina Bar and Grill and loved the food and the dock scene. We'd come again on a non-holiday weekend. Great trip overall!
Our stay at this rental was even better than we anticipated! Plenty of space for our family of 5. Game/family room downstairs was perfect for teens, with games even provided. Plenty of kitchenware and spices were helpful for food prep. Great coffee selection! Deck and grill brand new, so relaxing for morning coffee and evening views. Star gazing from the hottub was stunning! Peaceful neighborhood, minutes from boat rental, beach and food on Bass Lake. Central to Yosemite NP and Sequoia/Kings Canyon NP. Owner attentive and personable, made for a perfect family vacation!
Very cozy home nestled in the mountains with beautiful views
The owner of this rental was very accommodating. She checked in a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. The hot tub, fire pit, quietness was exactly what we needed. It offered more than we were expecting. TV with wifi In all the rooms, a basement with a poker table, bar, stereo and tons of board games. The kitchen had all of the items we needed to cook. And the coffee and creamer selection was a plus. We wished we could've stayed longer. Would book again. Short drive to bass lake and Miller's landing.
