Le Sandcastle est un 4-plex, qui repose sur le sable. Il y a 2 unités au premier étage et 2 unités au deuxième étage.

Votre unité # 916A

L'unité n ° 916A est située au deuxième étage, du côté sud du bâtiment. C'est une propriété très simple. Vous avez un lit Queen dans la chambre, et il y a aussi un Aerobed (taille Queen) qui peut être utilisé dans le salon. Il n'y a pas de climatisation dans cette propriété, mais vous pouvez ouvrir la porte coulissante en verre qui donne sur le balcon et profiter de la brise de l'océan. Je le recommande vivement pour 2 adultes ou une famille avec 2 enfants. Un peu trop petit d'une propriété pour 4 adultes.

Détendez-vous dans une ville balnéaire pittoresque, promenez-vous sur la plage tranquille. Marchez sur le vieux quai de pêche et apportez votre canne et votre appât! Excellent surf! Regardez ou participez! 10 minutes en voiture vous permettent d'accéder facilement à la célèbre île de Coronado et à son parcours de golf. 25 minutes vous emmèneront au célèbre zoo de San Diego, à Seaworld, à Embarcadero de San Diego, au centre de conventions de San Diego, au fabuleux désert ou à la montagne, au Mexique et à tout ce que la ville sophistiquée de San Diego a à offrir!

Great location at the IB pier.

As others have stated the property is a little dated. But the location is fantastic! The views are amazing and so many amenities within a few blocks. I will stay at this Vrbo again!

Perfect location

Great little place to stay. I almost didn’t need to drive anywhere- the beach was out the back door, and there are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores nearby to walk to. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing location!

Fantastic location, responsive hosts, appreciate that it’s pet friendly for our senior dog. Pity the beaches don’t allow swimming, not the fault of the hosts, and the homeless situation seems to be getting worse.

Great Location

Small, basic, but very clean and the location is right on the sand by the Imperial Beach pier. Fold away sleeper sofa mattress is very thin and not comfortable. If you are looking for location first and clean, this is your place.

Sweet Serenity

I flew into San Diego on a Tuesday and allowed myself in with a door code self check in that was sent to me prior to my arrival. I immediately got into my shorts & slippers and was on the beach in imperial beach. I enjoyed my stay on the beach overlooking the Pacific Ocean!!! The rental met ALL my expectations and I plan on using this rental property from now on. Sweet Serenity!!!

It’s a little outdated, needs a paint job. There was extra sheets in the closet but they were dirty. No hooks to hang damp towels or clothing. TV was a puzzle to watch. BUT YOU ARE RIGHT ON THE SAND AND THE VIEW WAS WHAT IT WAS ALL ABOUT..We will go there again

Location can’t be beat!

This unit was extremely comfortable for my partner and I. Catching sunset on the lanai and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean made for a very relaxing trip! We would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend! As other reviews mentioned, the unit is well-appointed in a bare bones kind of way. Be sure to pack your own toiletries, beach towels, and bath mat because they are not provided by the cleaning company.

Location , Location, Location

Beautiful view of the ocean from the second floor of a quadplex. Peaceful, quiet and safe with just the right number of local restaurants and coffee shops while you are enjoying the sound of the breaking waves. Awesome unit for a small dog as well . Stayed here to visit a few friends from San Diego county . Perfect location for my husband and I along with our 12 lb Italian Greyhound. Was very happy to stay at an affordable VRBO right on the beach. Would highly recommend.

The sound of the waves!

We've stayed here a number of times over the years, it's our refuge! The apartment is not large, it's very basic, but for us it's perfect! Bring your own coffee and can opener :-)... The main attraction for us is the ability to sleep with the sound of the surf! The waves crashing just a short distance away is the most relaxing thing in the world! It is very rare to find a rental so close to the ocean!

Not as advertised

Pros: 1. The house was there when we got there. 2. The door code worked 3. It had a full kitchen Cons: 1. The beach was closed because Mexico is dumping their sewage in the ocean, but sandiegovacation.com didn't tell us until AFTER the cancellation policy was agreed to and the house was paid for. 2. sandiegovacation.com wouldn't answer their phone, nor would they return calls from voicemail. <-- this is why I'll never do business with sandiegovaction.com again. 3. bathroom fan didn't work 4. blinds were broken so couldn't close them. 5. teflon pans that were peeling, teflon is a forever chemical. 6. TV would turn on, but couldn't access content because ISP bill wasn't paid? 7. Noisy neighbors all hours of the night.

Third time’s a charm

Third time at this property. It’s perfect for two people. We enjoy doing our own cooking and sitting on the balcony watching the ocean. The pull out bed has a terrible mattress. I even brought a foam mattress pad because I know pullout mattresses are thin, but this new one is awful. I’ll be back anyway! Thank you!

Definitely on the sand

This 1 bedroom is right on the beach which is its biggest plus. It was clean but really outdated and the furniture is in need of replacement. The bed was horrible. The neighborhood is walkable to restaurants, cool brew pubs and beaches. The neighborhood is also super loud at night. The bedroom is on the street side of the building so lots of noise all night long. The living room is on the beach side and has an awesome view of the pier and the beach, surfers and sunsets. The homeless population is really high in this area and the neighborhood felt less than safe to walk my dog at night. I doubt we’ll be returning.

Very basic and cut short due to weather warnings “Hilary”

The interiors were very basic. There were no beach towels, no coffee, no water and only one light blanket for the very uncomfortable fold out couch. I slept on the bar and tried rotating through out the night. I went to make dinner and the can opener did not work So Trying to find a store open at 9pm was not easy. There are only three parking spots but four rentals so we had to pay for parking every eight hours. I had to get up at 1am which was not ideal for vacation and not being on a schedule. We also had the helicopter flying over and we’re surrounded by a swat team due to a crazy man in a white jump suit. I have the video footage. This place does have a Perfect view but not comfy or accommodating like most places. Also left a VM for a call back the day before our arrival and wasn’t able to speak with anyone until I called the following day. WiFi password did not work either but they resolved quickly. Left one day early due to hurricane Hilary and let the office know via email and voicemail. No return correspondence to acknowledge either message was received. Not asking for any reimbursement :) just confirmation of call returning possession.

This was an absolute perfect place to vacation, the location is excellent! Right off the beach, you get that cool ocean breeze. It's in a quiet area, but also very near everything to do in the San Diego area!
