We were 2 couples and 1 single and the house was great for us 5 with 2 huge rooms with kingsize beds and a smaller room with 2 twins. One of the kingsize rooms has an ensuite bathroom with large raindrop shower. It is separated from the other bedrooms by the kitchen and hallways and large TV(with a very large TV and reclining sofas) room, dining room (table with 6 chairs) and foosball room. The other 2 bedrooms share a full bath. The beds were comfortable, even for my very sensitive husband, and there were lots of blankets and comforters to keep us cosy when it snowed in Tucson. That was so appreciated. And the heating in the house was great and we were happily able to keep it at 70 during the day. The kitchen was really well equipped when it came to mugs, cutlery and pots and large plates, dishwasher, gas stove, full size fridge and microwave. In a perfect world, we would have appreciated some small plates, some sugar, oil and other basic condiments, and some more furniture in the twin bedroom and one of the large bedrooms (i.e. somewhere to put the suitcases and maybe a chair or two). These are minor quibbles and we worked them out. One suggestion for prospective people staying in the house is that you bring earplugs (we swear by the custom fitted ones). In the north (Canada) we are used to lots of carpets that dampen sounds. In this house, the walls are plaster (adobe?) and the floors are tile and so the sound really carries. We understand that the lack of carpeting is really helpful and necessary when it's summer in Tucson, so this is not a complaint. In fact, we have no complaints. Mark, our host, was responsive and we want to thank Mark for making this house available to us. It was a great home base while we were touring the area and attending a conference. Thanks!!!
