very charming unit with much space and pretty views

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo #2018 is a wonderful place to stay, very clean and comfy with a lot of space due to the separate bedroom with good mattress, lots of storage space, in-unit washer & dryer, parking and much more. The kitchen isn ́t the newest but offers all you need (the only thing we did miss were pasta plates). Be aware that there may only one of 3 lifts work during your stay (this seems to be a general problem at Fairway Villas as a resident told us), but if you ́re in vacation this won ́t matter that much. I loved the breezy design and pretty views of Ala Wai canal every morning. btw: we didn ́t find the Ala Wai BLVD to be a loud place to live (our condo at Kuhio Rd was much louder at nights).The reserveátion team at Captain Cook did a great job (as always), the check-in was ok - I did have to call the property manager as we arrived after 8pm and would have prefered to get all these informations by text via mail or sms as I ́m not a native speaker and to get the instructions and key codes by phone upon arrival was a bit uncomfy. Besides this everything ́s great.

Great Stay at Fairway Villa

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fairway Villa is situated in the perfect location in the centre of Waikiki. While the noise from Ala Wai Boulevard can be annoying, the lovely views down the Ala Wai Canal compensate. There were a few household issues that required attention and James, our property manager, dealt with those issues immediately. Overall, we were satisfied with the unit. However, the kitchen does require a renovation. The cabinets are old and falling apart .One cabinet door fell apart in my hand as I was opening it. It has not deterred us from returning to Fairway Villa but next year we will be staying in a unit that has been renovated.more recently..

Great condo with nice view, location and security

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed for the month of March 2023 and would definitely recommend this condo unit as well as Captain Cook property managers. We found the suite clean and well maintained with some extra features like a roomy lanai, big screen TV with cable, dishwasher, garburator, comfortable bed and nice beach chairs. James from Captain Cook was friendly and accommodating. Having security at the building entry provided an added level of comfort. The pool area and bbqs were great and will be even better when the sauna and upper washroom renovations are complete. An overall nice property conveniently located in the heart of Waikiki.

Five Weeks in Paradise

A perfect little stay for 4

My kids loved the pool upstairs. Everything was very clean in the little apartment, a perfect size for our family of four. The sofa bed mattress was very soft and comfortable. Perfect for my 8 and 6 year olds. The AC was a plus. There were minor things that went wrong: the toilet kept getting unhooked to the chain so my husband had to rehook it a few times during our visit so it would flush. Also I wish they had blackout curtains in the living room, because my kids wanted to sleep at west coast time (3 hours ahead), which was hard to do at 7p HST when the sun was still out. But again, these were minor things. Overall our stay was perfect. James, the manager assigned to us, was so responsive and friendly. The included parking space was such a blessing in Waikiki. I highly recommend this place.

Great home away from home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed in other units in Fairway Villa many times. This unit has a better view of the canal because it’s the end unit which faces Ala Wai Canal. Washer and dryer are brand new. A new carpet. Very comfortable. Three adults stayed for 5 nights. A sofa is big enough so I did not pull it out to make a bed. Our agent, James, was nice and kind. If you don’t speak Japanese, no problem because he is fluent in Japanese.

There is dirty water at the bottom of dish washer.We stayed for 10 days, we asked them, but they didn’t fix it.Also, when I reserved, you email me to contact to James after we arrived. I called him many times when we arrived at airport, but he didn’t pick up my call. I knew after, he was day off. It has not been hand over, your team work is ok??? I spent time a lot at the airport.But Byron is good guy. Very professional, he supported us.We were able to be satisfied without above 2 points.

Good location, the amenities should be working. Dishwasher not working, clothes washer not working and no iron in apartment , we had to go to a different room to wash the clothes
