The location is absolutely perfect and that off set how dated the property is. Both the building and grounds as well as the unit itself were dated and worn.

Well laid out and equipped for 8 people.we were a bit concerned about wires hanging out on the balconey. The balconey was scary for us as there was a gap under the barrier that looked like our 16 month old could slip under a bit. We didnt test out the theory. Everything else was great, we really enjoyed our stay.

Quick fun get away!

The beds were comfortable and the room clean! One thing to note! spiders were in the rooms and we didn’t like seeing them on beds 😔 so might want to spray soon! Would totally stay again though!!

Great property

The unit was very clean and comfortable. It would be helpful if there were extra towels since it is a three bedroom. Also recommend having accurate bed descriptions. One bedroom has a double bed, not a queen and this was an issue for our guests. Overall a nice stay.

Enjoyed the view but the unit needs some work. The ice maker didn’t work and maintenance never showed after we asked them to come. The kitchen sink faucet needs fixing. The top rack of the dishwasher is broken.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The weather didn't cooperate but the stay was enjoyable. The front desk did seem to come from a place of "no." Regardless of what we asked they were not customer friendly. We stay at at the Grandview every year because of the location. This particular unit is dire need of some updating.

Maintenance helpful but unresolved issue from arrival

Very happy to have some of our kids and grandkids for this vacation, our first in more than a decade with us all together. There were a few issues in our President's suite (8 people there, so needed a big space). The dining room table was wobbly, the drawer under the stove was difficult to close or close straight, the top rack of the dishwasher was dipping down when pulled out and the fireplace insert fell out on one of the grandbabies. Maintenance was very nice and lent me an allen wrench so I fixed the table pretty easily. They ordered what they needed for the oven and dishwasher and secured the fireplace insert temporarily before doing a more in depth fix after our departure. The guys were great, very nice. Unresolved issue from our arrival was someone following us into the parking lot and telling us to hurry up and park as we had stopped at the entrance briefly to chat with family who was exiting. The person behind us had to wait a few seconds (probably 2 - 3 seconds) for us to pull in and then he was telling my husband "you think you are a tough guy?" "come talk to me like a man" because he was upset with our cautious driving in a large truck. Waiting to hear back from Management on this as he was the Security Guard at the condo and the Police were involved.

Definelty was not what we had reserved and what we were expecting. We had stayed a few years back with the same amount of people and were given a suite that was accommodating to 4 couples, whereas this one only was for 3. We talked with the front desk gal and she tried to tell me there are no rooms like that within the facility and then backtracked to basically they don't rent those out to regular individuals. She was not accommodating or helpful. We just tried to make the best of it even though it ruined the romantic side of our trip.

Hi Tonya! I'm incredibly sorry for the confusion. Here at Grandview the main property management team is Windermere Vacation Rentals, we manage a majority of the condos, including the condo you stayed in. Where the confusion comes in is that there are a handful of condos that are privately managed that we have no control over, including the specific 4 bedroom you were requesting. That condo has it's own property manager, and we have zero access to the units that are not managed by us. For future, I highly recommend calling the Grandview directly so we can ensure you're booking exactly what you're wanting and needing. Again, I'm sorry for the confusion and I will do my best to ensure this doesn't happen again. We hope to see you next time vacationing in Chelan!
