Elk Haven is walking distance to downtown Estes Park, near The Stanley Hotel, nestled in the trees in a quiet neighborhood. The condo offers two floors of comfortable living space with great mountain views.
The main floor open living space includes a living area with plenty of comfortable seating to settle in near the fireplace, and enjoy a movie, or enjoy the view out of the back windows. The sofa is a queen sleeper sofa. The kitchen has everything you need to create great shared meals while chatting with friends and family at the counter top bar, with seating for four. You can enjoy meals at the kitchen bar, or at the cozy table perfect also for playing games together. There is also a powder room off of the open living area. Access to the two car garage is off of the living areas.

The upper floor features three bedrooms, two full baths. The first upstairs bedroom has a Queen bed, and the second bedroom has a full/double bed. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom with bath tub shower combo located in the upstairs hallway. The third bedroom is a master bedroom with a brand new king bed with adjustable position mattress with remote, and an attached private bathroom with a jetted shower tub combo. Enjoy access to the private deck and mountain views from the master bedroom. The master bathroom also has a full size washer and dryer to make doing laundry more convenient. One of the guest bedrooms, and the master bedroom, each have a flat screen TV. Enjoy your mountain vacation and create great memories at Elk Haven!

Elk Haven is a 10 min walk to the Historic Stanley Hotel and Safeway Grocery Store. It’s 1.3 miles to downtown Estes Park and 3.4 miles to the Beaver Meadows Entrance at Rocky Mountain National Park.

Management provides a starter kit of amenities to get you through your first day, including: an extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, one extra roll of paper towels, 2-3 garbage bags, sample-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner, small bar soap, 2-3 laundry powder packs, 4-5 dishwashing pods, liquid dishwashing soap, and a single brew coffee pack. Guests will need to provide or purchase additional toiletries and products as needed beyond this starter kit.

Great location

We loved the location for its easy access to RMNP and Estes Park downtown. Views of the mountains are incredible from the owners suite and we loved seeing the daily wildlife around the property.Only suggestion would be for new chairs on the balcony!

Great location and the property had everything we needed. No air conditioning but there are fans, and you can open the windows at night to make it cooler. Owner was responsive to messages and property was clean and organized. Thanks for a great stay!

Everything was great-just as pictured! It has a lovely, quiet setting. The house and kitchen are furnished well and the hosts are very helpful. We would love to stay here again.

Mini Vacation

The condo was plenty big for 10 people, easily accessible to the town but on a dead end quite street. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.

Nice place with great views of mountains

Nice place to stay, plenty of room. Covered parking with the garage as well. Not too far of a walk to downtown, but the road down is narrow with no sidewalk.

As others have noted the decor,paint and furniture are dated and don’t reflect the mountain setting. The steep stairs to bedrooms were difficult to use due to being carpeted reducing the size of the step. No bedside lamp or nightstand in one bedroom, broken shades and no views for two bedrooms and only one view downstairs. Bathrooms and kitchen functioned. TV confusing with no instructions. Plus side was the location to downtown and the Stanley Hotel. The unit was clean, the washer dryer worked and the enclosed garage was nice with access to the kitchen.

Christmas in Estes

This property was great for spending Christmas in Estes park. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and the space fit us all. The house had enough kitchen appliances and utensils to cook all of our meals. We would consider renting this property for our next Estes getaway!

Lovely

Very nice condo located in a small enclave of like condos above Estes Park Colorado. Near shopping, but felt like you were "in the woods". Was just the right size for our group of 7. Check-in and out were simple and we had no issues at all with the lodging.

Great condo for a girl's scrapbooking week/weekend

Three of us used the condo for a scrapbooking getaway. We brought our own tables and loved that we could enter the unit through the garage to unload all of our supplies ( after we got in the first time through the door). Very comfortable and close to shopping if you need it!

Main floor. We missed having windowa and doors that didn't open so we couldnt enjoy the mountain breezes and smells. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. Was unfortunate that the ice maker in the freezer didn't work. A floor lamp by the couch would have been nice. Bedrooms wwre nice.

Spacious and Comfortable

This is a great little rental. We had a pretty large group stay here and it was surprisingly spacious with a functional layout. It was perfectly located close to the Stanley, Downtown and easy to get to the wedding venue Della Terra. Most of the beds were comfortable, however, the couple that stayed on the pull-out couch said it was pretty uncomfortable. It was nice having three bathrooms for a group our size, the kitchen was very functional and the two-car garage was great. The Sky Run customer service was also friendly, accomodating, and easy to get a hold of. Thanks for having us!

Disappointed

Unless you are a family of 6 with only 2 adults and 4 children the accommodations are very inadequate. SMALL beds, dining area that barely seats 4. Closed off with absolutely NO outside access. If you're looking to enjoy the surrounding Rocky Mountains this place is not for you,

The place to stay in Estes Park!

This was our second visit to Estes Park. There were eight of us, one being our one year-old granddaughter. This place was perfect for us! Plenty of room for socializing between hikes. The full kitchen and gas grill were perfect for meals. Quiet area for our granddaughter (and grandpa) to nap. Wildlife literally right out our back window. The location was excellent...a ten-minute walk to downtown Estes Park. Ten minute drive to RMNP. The only issue we had was that we couldn't get the coffee maker to work. A new one was delivered to us in a matter of an hour or two. We would most definitely stay here again if we ever brought our family back to Estes Park!
