We offer a completely updated Cottage A with central AC! New 2021; granite counters, sink & faucet, fresh light-gray painted kitchen, hallway and living room walls, plus a few fresh painted ceilings. New to the bedroom is a 43” Samsung Smart TV , living room has a 2021 55” Samsung Smart TV’s, and the IKEA sleeper sofa will have a new 2024 slipcover. New Organic cotton sheets each rental season.

We have always been a PET-FREE COTTAGE & NON-SMOKING PROPERTY for those with respiratory and allergy issues. We are family friendly with 2 college age kids of our own and we live on-site.

Many renters with allergies & respiratory issues have rented because of these renovations and the central AC with Hepa filter!

Owner operated and occupied…so we are on-site and available to help with questions or rental needs. Summer Peak Season rental week starts Saturday with a 3 PM check-in & runs until the following Saturday with a 10 AM check-out. Pre and Post Season we have a 2 night minimum.
SORRY BUT WE ONLY RENT WEEKLY DURING PEAK-SEASON.

We have key-code door locks so no more keys to worry about! A week before your arrival VRBO will email you with check in instructions and ask you to provide your own 4 number code. Most guest use special dates such as a birthday or anniversary and last 4 of their cell number is popular too!

Linen's are included with your rental and includes Neiman Marcus monogrammed cottage bath & hand towels, beach towels and new each season Organic sheets, pillow cases & pillows. We provide pillows, down comforter and quilt.
If you are not familiar with the Bass River, South Yarmouth area we are centrally located 1 1/2 hours to either Boston or Provincetown (the furthest tip of Cape Cod). We have many local amenities (4 mini-golf, plus batting cage with driving range, and over 1/2 dozen ice cream businesses to sample!) near us in Bass River plus 6 public beaches within a mile plus several GREAT Golf courses, grocery stores, Hyannis Mall (for those rainy days), the newer Whydah Pirate Museum that just celebrated the 300th anniversary of the Whydah in 2018.

Quiet and relaxing

We were looking to have a beach weekend but of course it was a cooler weekend. We enjoyed surrounding restaurants and ice creams shops that were walkable. The cottage was perfect size for the two of us and had everything we needed. Overall a place I would recommend to any couple looking to have a relaxing vacation and steps from the beach.

Decent deal for the money, better options exist

Upon arrival I noticed a strong odor of urine coming from the bathroom / toilet area - quickly isolated the source of the odor as the toilet - after a quick and thorough cleaning of the toilet (by me) all was well. Shower curtain also had some hairs on it. Other than needing to double down on the cleaning crew, property was as-described. Owners were lovely and communicated promptly.

Great property and location

Jim and Regina‘s 1940s cottage was perfect for my husband and me. It was clean and updated and Jim was easy to communicate with. The location is convenient to many beaches, restaurants (The Skipper, Pelham House), and activities, like kayaking and biking the Cape Cod bike trail. I highly recommend this property!

Small quaint relaxing cottage

Nice small quaint cottage with a good location. Size wise I would not recommend more than 2 people. Communication with hosts was easy. WiFi signal goes in and out so streaming is frustrating, or if working remote would be difficult. Great location to get wherever you need to in about 10-20 minutes. Good restaurants and activities close by.

Short and Sweet

Hosts were great and cottage was very cute and super clean. The neighborhood was sweet with beaches close by and the discovery of The Skipper was great to lunch or get nightcap. Friendly tip: supply guests with new bottle of handsoap and not one that has been used. Only a tip and certainly not a complaint.

Quaint and charming cottage

We just enjoyed a wonderful three nights in this charming cottage. The property managers are on site and very accommodating to any questions about the area or requests you might have. The public beaches are within walking distance and FREE! Lots of good seafood restaurants to choose from. The Lobster Boat restaurant is only 5 mins away and has outdoor seating. We enjoyed a nice day trip to Chatham(30-40mins) with its charming shops & family-friendly atmosphere. Definitely nice to go early in the season when the beaches aren’t too crowded.

Quick anniversary get away

We went to the Cape for our 37th anniversary. The cottage was exactly as portrayed! Hosts were very responsive whenever a question arose! The location was perfect! It was quiet and serene. We loved it!

Perfect Little Cottage

My husband and I stayed here on a Thursday through Sunday. The cottage is very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfy. Good size for a couple or small family. The beach is just a quick walk up the street. We visited in April and it was raining our first day, but we took advantage of the cozy living room and ordered take out and watched movies. The owners are on site and were super communicative through the whole check in process and during our stay. Great folks!

Cozy cottage

This cottage is just the right size for a couple. The kitchen is compact, with all the essentials for eating in. Good location, nice walk to beach area. It was just what we wanted for our time at Cape Cod!

This cottage has everything you need for a stay away from home. The cottage is located near everything from beaches restaurants etc. Jim and Regina were great hosts. Too short

We had hoped to book the cottage for the entire week. Due to its popularity, we could only get 4 nights. The cottage is adorable and immaculate. Great homey feel for two of us. Jim was very accommodating.

Love the Area

This little cottage was very clean, well stocked with towels, kitchen was well stocked and we liked the area it was in. You could walk down to the water which was nice. The place was decorated nice and felt cozy. One problem was they need an exhaust fan in the bathroom. It gets very steamy in there with the humidity in the summer. The wifi goes in and out alot at times. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and hope to go back next year. It was our first time to Cape Cod and we miss it already!!

Just what we needed.

Our stay was just what we needed. The cottage near the sea is well equipped and comfortable. It was centrally located with four town beaches just a few minutes down the street. With the beach pass for $20 a day you can come and go to all of them for the day. There are many great restaurants nearby and Hyannis is a short distance away. For the price, you can’t go wrong. The owners were very responsive and helpful. We had a nice visit.

Lovely Cape Cod Accomodation

My husband and I stayed for a few days in mid-June. The accomodations were lovely and comfortable.It was fairly cool so we really appreciated that we were able to turn on the heating system to take the edge off the chill. We used the cottage lightly but it seemed that it was well appointed to make a longer stay comfortable. One caution for those with mobility issues, the two entrance stairs are a bit high and there is no hand rail. This was no challenge for my husband but was a bit challenging for me. Nonethelesss, we would definitely hope to stay again.

Stayed for an event!

Booked this place for a Reach Energy event. It was conveniently located. Perfect size for what we needed. Owner Jim was great! Met us when we arrived. Only negative for me was the bed was to Hard. But that is just me.
