Charming cottage just a short walk to the beach!

Charming and cozy beach cottage just a 10 min walk to the warm and inviting ocean beaches of South Yarmouth. The house is also a 2 minute drive from the fun amenities of Route 28 (miniature golf, water park, shops, ice cream, grocery). 20 minute drive to vibrant Hyannis downtown with ferry service to the Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Inside you'll find a bright and clean floor plan with galley kitchen and open living room with flatscreen smart TV. 2 bedrooms with ample closet space and dressers for storage with nautical decorations! After a day at the beach, rinse off in the extra large cedar enclosed outdoor shower/changing area. Then relax on the new large Azek deck at the patio table! Lounge in the private back yard and enjoy a snack at the picnic table or kick back at the gas fire pit! Enjoy some lawn games! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. After a week here, you won't want to leave! Come relax and enjoy Cape Cod living! Sat-Sat bookings only in the summer (June, July, August)!

Property was very clean and just right for my son and me.However we had a few glitches, important lights blew out on us, tv was a problem but finally got it straightened out.Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great location!

My family of 4 including 2 teens stayed here the week of July 27th and it exceeded our expectations. While the cottage is small, it was just fine for our family for the week especially with the large deck, outdoor shower and backyard. The beach is an easy 10 minute walk away and it’s got really nice sand - not as covered by shells as most other Cape Cod beaches, which made for great walking. We also enjoyed the proximity to ice cream, mini golf and go-karting on Hwy 28. We would definitely stay here again. One recommendation for improvement would be a ceiling fan in the living room/kitchen to keep the air circulating - it was a really hot and sunny week! The window a/c units kept the bedrooms nice and cool though.

Perfect

Everything was perfect. The cottage was immaculate when we arrived. Beach chairs and umbrellas in the shed were great to have. The outdoor shower was so helpful for getting everyone showered quickly after a day at the beach. It's in a perfect central location close drive to everything and a short walk to the beach. We loved the Pancake Man up the rode. Mini golf, go carts, arcade very close. Grocery store close. Owner should include in listing you need to take your own linens. We had flown in from Florida so we needed to find a store last minute to buy linens at. Otherwise, it was a perfectly seamless check in. Hope we get to stay here again soon!

Cape Escape

We had a great week staying at this property. It was as described in the listing. It was centrally located to all the activities we enjoy - beach, biking, golf, restaurants etc. The property had everything we needed! Loved the outdoor shower and the fact it had an area for changing in it as well. Very quiet neighborhood which was wonderful. If we had to give any constructive feedback it would be that the inside shower and sofa could use some updating...both very worn looking. Otherwise the place was great!! Would definitely recommend.

The best week

We had the best week in Cape Cod once again. The house was clean and ready for check in as stated at 3:00. It’s a quiet, peaceful neighborhood great for walking. It’s close to the beaches and route 28. We enjoyed the outdoor shower and comfortable beds. Matt was very responsive and friendly. We will miss staying at this property in the future as our family will be too large for the home next year. It’s a gem!

Cute Cottage

We enjoyed staying in this cute cottage for 18 days, it was perfect for our visit to the Cape. Loved the outdoor shower!! It was close to all the golf courses we like to play and we easily walked to the beach from the cottage many evening’s . There is a wonder neighborhood coffee shop just a couple blocks away that always has great gelato. Had a wonderful time!

Highly recommend!

The cottage was perfect for our family of four. Very clean, comfortable and with everything we needed. Nice backyard for kids to play, and amazing outdoor shower! Nicely decorated too. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The walk to the private beach was easy (our kids are 6 and 8). The location allowed us to reach other beaches in the bay side within 25 minutes (mayflower, corporation). Matt was easily reachable and responsive. Thank you for a wonderful stay :) Highly recommend, we would return!

Great location!

We absolutely loved staying at this cottage. It was perfect for waking to the beach, walking or driving to mini golf on route 28, and walking for exercise through the flat neighborhood. It was a safe and quiet neighborhood and everyone we encountered was very friendly. We lucked out with great (hot) CC weather and didn’t have a chance to try out the propane fire pit but it’s a great addition to the property. We loved the outdoor shower and the easy access to it from the deck steps when returning from the beach. The keyless entry was life changing with full hands and two toddlers in tow. It made entry such a breeze! The beds were comfortable, the AC was glorious for the hot days and nights, and we can’t wait to rent again! Thanks Matt!

Perfect Cottage

We enjoyed our stay at this perfect cottage in Yarmouth. The place was neat and clean. It had everything we needed. The yard was great to play games and do s’mores. We loved the outdoor shower. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back again.

Perfect for small family

Such a cute little house perfect for a small family. Walked to the beach the neighborhood was quiet, can drive to restaurants and activities. Looks just like the pictures. We loved the outdoor shower and only used that as the indoor one is small and to the kids loved showering outside! Backyard and deck were great for playing and grilling and eating outside. Property manager was super responsive. We loved our stay!

Vacation with a Double Purpose

We came to the Cape to attend a memorial service for my brother at McKeon Field in Hyannis where Tim was the voice of the Mets and HarborHawks for 40 years. It was a wonderful ceremony attended by 25 family members. After Sunday's ceremony, we all vacationed for the rest of the week. Some went to the beach, some shopped, some went sightseeing, and we often ate together. I recommend Captain Parker's Restaurant, the Skipper, and the Dockside in particular. Our little house with a wonderful outdoor shower was perfect for my daughter and her husband and my wife and I. We had a great time. Thanks to Matt and VRBO.

Tornado week

The last time we stayed on the Cape a tornado hit that week also. This time it was minimal which was a relief. The cottage was very nice well planned out but a few things could be better. The refrigerator could not hold a gallon of milk the shelves could not be adjusted to make it fit. There was also left over bottles of open water in the frig as well. Access to the beach is good but we could not park there because we were not the tax payer for the property. This should be explained a bit better I think. These issues did not detract from our family having a great time but hopefully the next guests won’t have to deal with them. Thank you for sharing you house with us we had a wonderful time.

Wonderful Week

So happy to have found this super clean rental that had everything we needed. Great location, great communication with owner and the outdoor shower is just amazing! We loved eating on the deck and hanging out at the fire pit.

Awesome Property

This little cottage is perfect for a couples getaway. My partner and I spent a week and loved the neighborhood, especially the proximity to stores and activities. South Middle Beach is a quick 10 minute walk away from the house and it’s the nicest beach we went to during the trip. Beautiful outdoor shower and great deck for hanging out in the mornings. Would definitely return!

I have been vacationing on Cape Cod for 42 years (since an infant!) and it is a wonderful place. I have always thought of the Cape as my "happy place." Something magical happens when you cross that bridge that instantly relaxes you and brings a smile to your face. I purchased this rental property in 2019. I am excited to share the natural beauty and enjoyable times that Cape Cod has to offer. Past renters have had great stays at the cottage and I am always happy to hear that people are having excellent vacations! There is truly something for everyone of all ages to enjoy!
