Ce condo luxueux et élégant de deux chambres offre une vue panoramique sur la ville, l'océan, la montagne et le port depuis toutes les pièces principales et les deux ponts spacieux. Le Reef est idéalement situé à quelques pas de la magnifique promenade du front de mer de Victoria, des parcs et des petits restaurants et des expériences au Fisherman's Wharf. La suite d'angle de 1200 pieds carrés a tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour un séjour mémorable. Le spacieux plan d'étage ouvert comprend des planchers de bois brillant, de hauts plafonds et des baies vitrées du sol au plafond. Vous adorerez la cuisine gastronomique avec comptoirs en granit noir, électroménagers en acier inoxydable, cuisinière à gaz et îlot pouvant accueillir 4 personnes.

Wonderful condo!

We had a great time at this condo in August. Brett and Linda couldn't have more gracious and helpful hosts!! There are beautiful views of the water through floor to ceiling windows, and you are right across from Fisherman's Wharf and next to Finest at Sea -- a wonderful seafood store. If you like to cook, you will appreciate that the kitchen is VERY well equipped. Thank you Brett and Linda! It was great to meet you.

The Best

This was our 2nd stay at the Reef. First in this unit and we are booked to return. Great location with a wonderful view over the Park, Fisherman's Wharf and the Harbour. You can walk to most things - downtown, grocery shopping and restaurants but there is also a bus stop across the street. Brett and Linda went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed and then some - really great Hosts. M&D, Ontario

Wonderful weather in an imma property. Our unit had a 270° wire of the inner harbor as well as the capitol building. The most walkable area in Victoria. The hosts were extremely gracious and responsive to any needs we had, which were very few. I will return to this fabulous condo without reservation.

A great place.

We really enjoyed our month in Victoria. The harbour view from the patio is awesome, and we rnjoyed the park across the street, the great fresh fish market next door, and that we could walk to most of the places we needed to go (grocery, restaurants, parks, shopping, and all the harbour activities.). The building is quiet and secure. The owners were very accessible and kind. Would definitely stay there again.

Fabulous Condo in a Great Location

We have stayed in Victoria many times and this is by far the best accommodation we have ever enjoyed. The location by Fisherman's Wharf is ideal for walking and watching all the activities that take place there daily. Witnessing the seaplanes take-off and land in the harbour is a real treat. We found the unit even better than the pictures. All the amenities are there to make you feel at home. Brett and Linda went above and beyond in helping us by answering all of our questions before we arrived and were quick to respond to any queries we had during the stay. We were very sad to leave and look forward to staying at their fabulous condo again.

If you like industrial modern architecture and a great James Bay view, this is perfection. Even if you are somewhat more traditional, you will find everything you need in this well-equipped apartment, including parking. Our hosts went above and beyond in welcoming us after our long flights.

It doesn’t get much better. The views are stupendous! The location overlooking Park, Fisherman’s Wharf and being within walking proximity to all amenities, surpasses ones expectation. Combine this in the most modern secure complex, underground parking, 5th floor, spacious two bedroom designer condo with two balconies, and your needs are zilch. All your home comforts are covered along with requirements to entertain in style. Linda and Brett are the most accommodating and gracious hosts we’ve ever encountered in all our travels. Having repeat clients year after year speaks volumes. We will certainly rebook within their limited openings. We were fortunate this time, as only Covid restrictions imposed on out of country clientele, set limitations and opened this golden opportunity for us. With much gratitude, Rose & Dave

We spent two wonderful months at Brett and Linda’s condo in The Reef - a beautiful sub penthouse overlooking Fisherman’s Wharf in Victoria. Brett and Linda were gracious hosts, taking care of every need - treating us like friends rather than tenants. Will look forward to our next opportunity to spend time there.

Just the most spectacular views and the constant bustle was like sitting around a camp fire.....no need to speak. Brett and Linda were there when I needed help. The place is a gem stayed for two months. Great location you’ll enjoy the whole experience. Worth the cost of admission 😊

Lovely, bright Victoria condo

Brett and Linda are the best possible hosts. They are incredibly thoughtful and accommodating providing many additional amenities not normally expected in a vacation rental. There was all the soap, paper goods, plastic wrap, laundry and dishwasher products we needed for the entire month and more! There was a lovely welcome basket and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The kitchen is well supplied for cooking with lots of pots and pans and utensils. The barbeque is wonderful. In short, there was nothing more we could have wished for. The unit is dramatic and fabulous - very modern with high ceilings. It’s a corner unit so it has wonderful views on two sides. The harbour view is endlessly entertaining. We spent many hours watching the float planes landing and taking off right in front of us. The water taxis are zipping around and the ferries are busily ferrying. From the other patio you can see the Olympic Mountains and check out which cruise ships are in port. The location was perfect to walk along the ocean on Dallas Road as far as we wished. We really enjoyed our time there and are grateful to Brett and Linda for their outstanding hospitality.

VACATION PARADISE AT THE REEF IN JAMES BAY

My husband and I have been vacationing in Victoria during the winter months for several years, each time in a different condo, always in search of the perfect rental. We have found our vacation paradise - our permanent home away from home in Brett and Linda's luxurious condo. Our expectations were quickly surpassed the minute we walked into our rental at The Reef at 1:00 am after a long day of travelling. We were most grateful to our hosts for assisting us to make our very late check-in possible. We were met by a warm fireplace, ambient lighting and a beautifully furnished condo with all high end, modern leather and glass furniture. Tastefully decorative art pieces showcased this spectacular condo. Brett and Linda left a lovely basket of food items for us to ensure we had everything we needed on our first morning. The condo was well stocked. As tired as we were, we stood on the balcony overlooking Fisherman's Wharf to take in the mesmerizing views of the waterfront, Johnson Street Bridge in the distance, the beautifully lit Legislative Building and the serenity of Vic West across the harbor. We also had a spectacular view of the mountains from our side balcony. So to say we had found our vacation paradise is an understatement. We knew the James Bay area well so we knew it to be safe. The Reef is an exceptionally secure, clean and well maintained building that is within a short walking distance to the finest restaurants, IMAX, shopping, downtown area entertainment, and great walking paths along the waterfront. The city of Victoria is vibrant regardless of the season when you visit, but the James Bay area has a unique energy of its own with a real sense of community. One of our favorite pastimes was sitting in front of the floor to ceiling windows watching the activity at Fisherman's Wharf and in the dog park below; enjoying the children playing in the park; and taking in the activity in the inner bay such as the ferries, float planes, rowers and whale watching boats. There is a constant movement of energy that is exciting and overflows with life. What touched our hearts was the graciousness and warmth with which Brett and Linda greeted us with enthusiasm and joy, ensuring we had all the comforts of home. Brett and Linda have become lifelong friends. They have provided us with a home away from home and it is our plan to return year after year trying different seasons to experience Victoria in its totality. Rene and Rog-January to March 2019

Great condo in a beautiful setting

We rented Brett and Lynda's to have a home-like experience while my wife underwent medical treatments. The apartment exceeded our expectations in size, layout, cleanliness and quality. The kitchen was especially nice, fully equipped with good quality utensils, dishes, flatware and modern appliances. All of the knives were actually sharp! The views of the local dog park, harbour and city made it all perfect. Brett was a terrific host and the property manager Oksana was great to work with. We would certainly like to be able to stay at the Reef again, in nicer weather and under less stressful circumstances. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Movie Star living!!

My husband and I stayed in #502 at The Reef and I'd still be there if I had my way!! I considered attaching myself to the balcony but realized it wouldn't be very elegant...... The Reef is located in James Bay overlooking a lovely park as well as Fishermans Wharf. The view of the harbour from the floor to ceiling windows is incredible, with ferries, boats and planes going by during the day and a view of the West Vic skyline and the Empress hotel and legislative building at night. Because this condo is on a corner, the views of James Bay and the mountains are also breathtaking. The condo is very modern, with leather furniture and a large glass dining room table that overlooked the view. The kitchen is amazing, being well equipped with small appliances, lots of dishes, wonderful cookware, wine glasses, candles etc. The bedroom also has wall to ceiling windows so that you can lay in the king-size bed and gaze over James Bay as well as the mountains. The location of the Reef is very conveniently situated in Victoria and it is possible to walk to restaurants, groceries, downtown etc. There is a fresh fish market next door which apparently has the best fresh fish in the city. The downtown bus stops outside of the building, and the water taxi from Fishermans Wharf takes you across the harbour. Because the building is concrete, there was virtually no noise in the condo, other than the buses going by. We LOVED our month in the Reef and wish that we could have stayed longer!

Great Condo, Great Location, Better Service

We currently spend about six months a year traveling away from home, this after decades in senior management in the resort industry. To say we have a lot of experience with vacation lodging is an understatement. We would be hard pressed to think of a better choice for Victoria than this Reef condo. The location is unbeatable: right on the harbor, easy walk to the center of activities, excellent shoreline walk toward cruise ship harbor and beach. We really felt like we were living in the best neighborhood in Victoria enjoying every aspect of the city. Outstanding unit with floor to ceiling windows on two sides and a large terrace. Unlike most rentals, which seem to be furnished as cheaply as possible, in this one every detail down to the glassware and dishes has been thought out and is first class. As good as the unit and location were, Nancy Martin's service was better. She was a total professional from before we arrived working through some hiccups in payment, to a very complete orientation on arrival, to immediately resolving the one or two very minor issues with the condo while there. If you are lucky enough to find a vacancy, take it as quick as you can

Exquiste location, a beautiful condo, wonderful management It's dynamite

This was a second stay at his great condo but hopefully not the last.The views spectacular, the condo so well appointed, the access to seafood so convenient all in wonderful James Bay that it made my May truly terrific. The only hard part was coming home.You never know when you return somewhere if your expectations will be met; mine were exceeded. If I won the lottery I would try and make this condo my own. But for now I will depend on Nancy Martin to make me feel like an owner and ease my way into a wonderful vacation home. Really she and the condo owner were just terrific, easily overcoming my challenges of an awkward arrival time and a broken garage fob. The condo and the management have my unqualified recommendation.

Excellent condo and great management

My wife and I have stayed at number of times at this remarkable condo and it has become our favourite holiday location. We will be returning again for the month of September for our fourth time. The condo is beautiful and bright and we find it very peaceful. The views from the condo are absolutely spectacular. My daughter and I are floatplane pilots so the non-stop floatplane action in the harbour, which we can view directly from our deck, is delightful to watch along with all of the other watercraft activity. We do not rent a vehicle when we are there and simply walk everywhere. Shopping, grocery store, restaurants, fresh seafood store, parks and beautiful walkways are closely located making this location ideal if you don't have a vehicle. The property manager has been exceptional and we have always received excellent service and care from her both leading up to our rental time and during our stay. She has kindly provided us a bottle of wine on each arrival and the condo has always been in prime condition. If we have had any questions or issues arise while we are on site she has always replied promptly and things were taken care of very quickly. We would not hesitate for a second to recommend both this property and manager.

Exceptional James Bay Condo Minutes to Downtown

The condo photos are completely accurate but the flow of the unit, the world outside the windows (which changes with the time of day) and the energy of the building and location put it over the top. Management, caretaking and liveability are exceptional. I see the caretaker nearly everyday and he meticulously maintains the building and grounds to a very high standard. The unit is incredibly well stocked and cared for. Downtown is a few minutes stroll away and in July there is no limit to what you can see and do there. Every suburb of Victoria has its own appeal but the peacefulness of James Bay has to be the best. You will love wandering the leafy streets. Every amenity needed is close. This has been my favourite holiday. I am now planning my permanent return one day. Grateful!

This is undoubtedly a great unit to rent, but beware! We were scammed out of a significant portion of our damage deposit. A claim against our deposit was made more than a week after our departure and more than five weeks after an alleged incident occurred in the parking garage. It is alleged that we struck some traffic cones that were placed by a company doing maintenance work on the security gates. It is claimed that the incident occurred on the second day of our stay but no one said anything to us for over five weeks. The bill to the owners claimed the cones were struck by a car with Colorado plates---we have Arizona plates. The bill claimed there was a "G" on the rear bumper of the car---there is no "G" on our car. The bill claimed there were two bicycles on the car---our bicycles were removed on the first day of our stay and were not put on again until June 29. No evidence has been offered that any cones actually were damaged. No evidence has been offered that gives the value of the cones. The owners agent has stopped responding to my requests for evidence and has refused to give me the owners contact information. While this is a first class unit in a great location and we really enjoyed our one-month stay I think everyone should be very wary.

It Doesn't Get Better Than This In Victoria!

We've been fortunate to have stayed in many places throughout the world and this Victoria unit is right at the top of our list. Outstanding accomodation, views and location! Open plan living, dining and kitchen. Modern, comfortable furnishings. Fully equipped kitchen with every kitchen gadget and appliance you can imagine. Spectacular views of the park, Fisherman's Wharf and the amazing active Harbour from all front rooms and the large balcony. Views of Victoria neighbourhoods and mountains from side balcony. No need for a car here. Walkway along the Harbour to downtown is out front, Dallas Rd sea wall walkway is around the corner and local bus hooks up everywhere else. Manager Nancy really knows how to make you feel at home. She has a wealth of knowledge about eateries and great places to visit in Victoria and area. If there's anything that needs to be taken care of in the unit, she's there in a flash. What's not to love!!
