Modern, Fully Accessible 2-Bedroom Suite in Victoria with Private Patio

Welcome to Roo’s House! This 860 sq foot accommodation in the lower level of a private residence, offers two bedrooms and one bathroom. Additionally, you have a full size washer/dryer, brand new kitchen appliances including dishwasher and Insinkerator/garburator. The suite is fully wheelchair accessible with wide hallways and doorways. The kitchen is fully stocked with all your cooking and baking needs. The suite has air conditioning and heating via a heat pump. There is a south facing private patio and garden area for rest and relaxation. There is parking for 2 vehicles and some street parking for your visitors.

Roo’s House is centrally located in the Capital Region. It is 15-20 minutes from the downtown core, 10 minutes to the Westshore, 20 minutes to UVIC, 25 minutes to the airport and 30 minutes to the BC Ferry terminal. You are 2 blocks from the Galloping Goose commuter bike trail and are surrounded by trail systems and parks for your walking or running enjoyment.

This property was lovely, probably one of the best I’ve stayed at. Very clean and well-equipped. Diane was very attentive and thoughtful in all of the additional touches. The baked goods from a local bakery were such a treat when we arrived! The beds were very comfortable and the suite was very quiet. Would absolutely stay again.

This was by far the best “home away from home” I’ve experienced. Diane has thought of everything you could want or need and then some. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. The beds are very comfortable. The location is ideal in a quiet neighborhood yet only 15-20 minutes to the harbor. We’ll definitely stay again when in Victoria. Thank you Diane for a lovely experience.

Absolutely wonderful!

Wow! What a great place to stay! I never wanted to leave. Roos's house is fantastic. Beautifully decorated, so luxurious, and stocked with everything you could ask for. All you have to do is bring your suitcase and move in. Communication with the host was fantastic.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ruth’s house. It was a wonderful place with lots of thoughtful extras—fresh baked goods from a local bakery, a towel warmer, a variety of drinks in the fridge, and plenty of teas and coffee. The kitchen was well-organized and fully stocked with everything we needed. The whole place was spotless and very comfortable.It’s especially well-suited for anyone with mobility issues, with a separate entrance, easy access, and even a patio to enjoy. We also appreciated the extra touches like board games, books, and pamphlets highlighting local attractions.We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay!

Cuteness little retreat

Property was brand new and absolutely beautiful. Diane and Roo thought of everything to make our stay perfect. Little welcome gift was the perfect touch. Eucalyptus hanging in the shower was amazing, cute little outdoor sitting area was clean.

This was a beautiful gem tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The apartment was beautiful. One of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. It was so clean and Diane literally thought of everything to make anyone’s stay comfortable. It was bery quiet and Diane was quick to answer any questions I had. She had beverages in the fridge and beautiful local baking goods for us to enjoy. I highly recommend staying here. I know I will when I return to Victoria.

Best Vacation Rental I’ve Seen

Diane and Roo have clearly gone to great effort to make this place nice. Quiet area, with a cosy private patio, a modern kitchen that had everything I could think of needing, and so many little touches about the place to make our stay great. They even left us some tasty treats for our special occasion. Highly recommended.
