A truly unique experience. This cosy apartment within the Palais Royal opens directly onto the gardens through the living-room. The Palais Royal is a palace located opposite the Louvre and a few steps from Opera. A prime location in the very heart of historical Paris. Through time, it’s inhabitants include prominent figures such as Cardinal Richelieu, King Louis XIII, Louis XIV and the Bonaparte family. This charming apartment is situated directly on the gardens of the historic Palais Royal, just a stone's throw from the Louvre. Decorated with antique furniture, this flat is an ideal spot for a family, two couples or simply friends traveling together who want to experience living like “real” Parisians. The beautiful gardens outside your door are perfect for children to play in and adults to stroll in. The combination of antiques, French windows and stylish renovations create old-world charm with modern comforts. This cosy apartment has two bedrooms and one bathroom with two WCs, one of which is separate, a cute living room and a fully equipped kitchen. A perfect hideaway that has been modernized to give maximum comfort and to make your stay “très cosy”. Settle in, relax and enjoy your stay in this romantic city.

MINIMUM STAY: We do have a one week rental policy, so the weekly rate applies even for shorter stays if the apartment is available for one full week. We can only prorate the nights if the apartment is available for fewer nights between other bookings OR ACCEPT A SHORTER STAY IF REQUESTED AT THE LAST MINUTE. So don't hesitate to check with us, we usually have last minute deals where we can accept a shorter stay without applying the minimum week policy.

Amazing & perfect!

Everything was incredible and perfect. Location is outstanding. Greeter Nastasia was perfect. Communication was all great - quick responses for questions, 24 hours or less. Super clean, access to courtyard of Palais Royal, all the amenities you’d need while in Paris. I always love staying here.

Palais stay — convenient but with issues

This is a superb location, however, it is noisy all night. The quiet begins around 4:00 a.m. only to be interrupted by the early morning garbage trucks. It was a week with very little sleep. The pictures which were on the internet do not truly show how tiny and closed this apartment is. The patio doors may not be opened and the windows on the third floor when open let in the noise. The agency requested our approximate hour of arrival and upon arriving we were told “ to find a place to house our luggage”. I had requested that we leave our luggage as we had an early commitment. The greeter was most difficult to deal with. In addition to noise and poor communication, we were three women with two bath towels and three hand towels for the week. My request for another bath towel was met with this - “ there are robes in the closet to be used for bath towels.” After repeated requests, I received three hand towels five days into our stay. Overall, we had an enjoyable time in Paris but it was not because of this rental.

Hello Lucie We are surprised to read your review as you have never contacted us with any remarks about anything during your stay. Our check in time is 4pm as we had guests leaving at 10am but we did tell you you could drop off luggage from 10am and go about your day but this did not work for you as you had an appointment somewhere at 10am so your greeter arranged to see you before to take your luggage. I don't see how we could of helped more on this. I have checked with the cleaner who prepared your apartment and our head of housekeeping who supervised the check out cleaning and there were more towels than normally given as a member of our staff brought you extra towels the next day of your check in. We provide a set of large and medium towel per guest and a bathrobe. This is our standard. Regarding the noise, it is a ground floor apartment in the heart of a big city so it cannot be completely quiet but in no way is there that much noise until 4am. And regarding the photos they are 100% representative of the the apartment and not enhanced as you are suggesting. We understand you were not satisfied with your stay and choice but we have never had issues such as the ones you are expressing so this is your subjective view not the general feedback of our guests. It would have been better if you had expressed these things while to the booking client service so we could have been aware of these issues during your stay. Best regards, Clara

A week in Paris

The apartment is in a great location, staying in a slice of French history. It was a little too small for a family of 4, the lounge was not comfortable. It was lovely to receive a bottle of wine & chocolates after a long flight, and coffee was also nice. All in all an enjoyable stay in the heart f Paris.

This location is wonderful. The accommodations were better than I had expected. It is a great location. The only thing is the carpets should be replaced upstairs. I would stay here longer!

Fabulous apartment in the perfect setting

The apartment is spread over three floors, with the two bedrooms---with really comfortable beds---and a full bath upstairs, the living area and foyer on the street level, and the kitchen and half bath downstairs. Didn't mind the stairs a bit, as it allows you to work off all the bread and cheese you want. The apartment looks exactly as it is pictured and noise was never a problem (one of my concerns before arriving). The restaurant next door closes at a very reasonable hour (by ten-ish). Easy to walk to everything and there is a metro stop a hundred yards away, and a Monoprix close on L'Avenue du L'Opera. Highly recommend this apartment for a stay in central Paris!

The building this apartment is in was built in 1680. The Palais Royal is a palace located opposite the Louvre. Originally called the Palais-Cardinal, the palace was the personal residence of Cardinal Richelieu. At his death, it became the property of the King and was re-named, Palais Royal. After Louis XIII's death, it became the home of Queen Mother Anne of Austria and her young sons Louis XIV and Philippe, Duc d'Anjou along with her advisor Cardinal Mazarin. The royal families continued living in the palace until the Revolution and later was also home to the cadet branch of the Bonaparte family under the Second Empire.
