This house was perfect for our family who spends a lot of time at the beach and Ptown inn and beach while in Ptown! The house has a lot of different levels and spaces with a bit of a quirky layout that works well for vacation when folks may want their own space at times. Allen was a great host and easy to communicate with!
What a great house! Stayed with a group of 6 friends, there was plenty of room in the house for us all to relax and not feel crowded. The house was located close to town but perfectly tucked away on a quiet street. Allan was very friendly and communicative. We will definitely be staying here again!
We've stayed in many places in Ptown over the years but this is one of our favorites. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and a great location in easy walking distance to town. The house is beautiful and has all the amenities you need for a great vacation. This was our second stay and we hope to stay again!
We loved everything about our stay! Allen was very quick to respond to our questions about the house. We were fortunate enough to have the best weather conditions you could ask for during our stay. We recommend this property to anyone interested in staying in Provincetown!
We had a wonderful stay at the property! The location is great, with easy walks to beautiful spots (beach, tidal flats) and to Commercial St. The house was really comfortable, with more than enough room for our group (4 adults (grandparents and parents) and 1 child). The house was really well-equipped and we had everything we needed. Communication was also great. It was a fantastic trip!
We were very pleased with this stay. The house has tons of room and an incredible amount of outdoor space. The master bedroom/bathroom was just perfection. The kitchen was spacious and clean, and the location was the perfect distance between Commercial and the beach. We hope to be able to stay here again next year. Highly recommend :)
We had a great stay. The house is located in a beautiful and quiet location with convenient access to the beach and Commercial Street. Some in our party preferred walking while others often rode bikes to get around town. The house was comfortable with all the necessary amenities for a nice relaxing vacation.
Our host was very communicative and responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely try rebooking at this location for future trips to Provincetown.
We loved everything about our first stay at Allan's. The listing is just as promised with lots of room to spread out inside and out. The beds are quite comfortable, fabulous master shower and the kitchen is very well equipped. The proximity to the buzz of Commercial Street is fun but it truly is a quiet spot. The location provides great access to marshes, beaches and strolling the really cute side streets all over town.
We love the Outer Cape and can't wait to return to Oppen Lane!
We hosted a party of five, three couples could be very comfortable. The modern home is very private, nestled in the woods but just a short walk to the beach. The beds were great. The place was clean and well-organized with all the extras noted in the ad. The owner was very easy to work with. He responded quickly to emails and texts. My only concern would be for guests who have trouble navigating stairs. The living/dining area is located a floor above the bedrooms, so this home might not be a good choice for a senior or a person with physical challenges.
As advertised, the house is architecturally spectacular, very large, lots of spaces and lots of private balconies and nooks to unwind and relax. Excellent location close to everything but in a quiet residential area. The biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the house. The typical horizontal surfaces were clean, but the house is really in need of a thorough deep cleaning. Black cobwebs hanging from the ceilings, the white ceiling fan blades were black with dirt. Windowsills were absolutely filthy. Paint is stained and chip. but overall, we would still recommend the house because it was very delightful.
Home was well equipped and on a nice quiet street, but still close enough to walk to many restaurants and nature sights.
Bedrooms had window ac units and were on lower level. Beds were comfortable and sleep was great.
But I do not think the listing made it clear that the house does not have central air conditioning. We were lucky the day time highs did not exceed 75- it was too warm that afternoon on main upper level for me. So that may be a concern for some folks. Most of the year this would not be a problem especially with the cool ocean air at night. Overall I recommend! I know ptown is expensive as this was the most I ever spent on a house rental-bikes were listed as an amenity but they were not usable.
Again a great home. I would rent again.
Nestled just a short walk away from the beach, this house is a dream for anyone looking to escape for a great vacation in PTown. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the charming ambiance and thoughtful amenities that awaited us. Allan, the owner was readily available via text for anything we needed.
The neighborhood itself is quiet and picturesque, perfect for unwinding and soaking in the coastal vibes. But still a short walk to the best restaurants and shops.
The interior of the house is as inviting as its surroundings. Clean, airy rooms each tastefully decorated to reflect the seaside locale. The kitchen, a highlight for any food enthusiast, was fully equipped with everything needed to whip up a gourmet meal. Cooking was easy with top-notch appliances and ample counter space.
A spacious patio with a grill ready for BBQ evenings, and comfortable patio furniture perfect for lounging or dining al fresco.
The house provides everything you need for a day on the sand. Beach chairs and towels were readily available, ensuring we could effortlessly enjoy long days lounging by the ocean.
Three of us, one couple and a close friend, enjoyed two weeks in this house which has every kind of space over four floors (including the basement) for being together or apart, reading, relaxing, exercising, preparing meals and dining. It's a solid dwelling with intriguing design, lots of windows and doors to let in light and fresh air, and a stone's throw from the gorgeous marsh and breakwater at the end of Bradford and Commercial Streets in the West end. Forget the car and bike or walk to Herring Cove. Everything worked as advertised! Landscaping in progress but lots of trees and canopy and a wonderful patio. Other porches on other floors. No complaints. All good!
Great house for a week stay! Had everything we could ever need or want! Weâll appointed kitchen and lots of privacy for all of us. The decks are expansive and it was wonderful to sit out in the sun and relax. Location is perfect for accessing Bradford and Commercial Streets. Will definitely book this property for our next trip!!
The home is in an excellent location, very fully and thoughtfully furnished and equipped and the host was helpful and very pleasant. We know OâP-town well and had a great time even though it was after Labor Day. We would all recommend this property.
Everything was as advertised. 15 minute walk to Provincetown so was quiet at night. Short drive to Herring Cove and Race Point where we saw whales in the distance. More then enough room for the six of us. Would rent again.
Me and my friends loved our time here! Itâs a super comfortable and well designed home. So airy and sunny, yet private. We loved it! Would recommend to anyone!!
The house is a really fun multi story layout with decks on every floor. It comes with everything - even 2 bikes - though we opted to rent our own. The house is close to everything but on a secluded quiet lane. The carpets could have used a little cleaning but nothing terrible (we were mid summer so that is to be expected in a beach rental). Highly recommend this property!
The location of this house is ideal - easy walk into town, short drive to either Race Point or Herring Cove Beach. Well equipped kitchen, lots of space indoors and out.
