This was my second time staying at the house, and it was just as great as the last time. A perfect home base for exploring Provincetown, with incredible views from the comfortable front porch. Brian is a wonderful host!
We stayed for a week and had a great time! House is exactly as advertised and in a great location. We walked everywhere and enjoyed being so close to the beach.
Close to everything yet quiet and private, the location of this property could not be beat! A day or two of unseasonably warm temperatures found us hoping the air conditioning was a bit stronger, but otherwise a near-perfect stay. The home has character in spades, is great for hosting small gatherings or families, and has one of the best front porches on all of Commercial street. We are excited to return next time we visit Provincetown!
This house was in a great location and we spent most of the time enjoying people-watching on the porch. Great kitchen and living room too, where we hung out on rainy days and survived the hurricane! Brian was very helpful too. Only bring one car if possible because driveway is shared. You can walk to just about everywhere.
Cozy Victorian Charm situated in the heart of Provincetown
This property was wonderful. Even better than described. Brian the owner, has perfected all the details to make our stay feel luxuriously comfortable.
Situated in the middle of Commercial St, we were in the best place to dine, shop and walk to the beach. There is limited parking at this residence, one vehicle would be best; there are other options for parking however.
We sat on the porch every morning drinking coffee and enjoyed the views of the bay.
We just got back home from an amazing stay at this gorgeous property that we are still talking about. The location couldn't be better. It's right on Commercial st making it close to all the places you may want to visit, while being just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the restaurants/galleries.
The inside is spacious, charming and clean, you can see the ocean from the porch and most windows looking SE and the owners and their family couldn't be nicer!
After coming to Provincetown yearl for 9 years and never staying in the same place twice, I think we finally found our favorite home away from home!
Brianâs property was all that was advertised and more. A beautiful house, filled with charm and a perfect location. We were in walking distance of everything (weâre NYC-ers that are used to walking). The kitchen had everything we needed on days we wanted to cook (including an outdoor grill!). And youâll fall in love with the front porch.
My friends and I are already wondering when we can return. Would love to re-book in the future!
It was our 2d year in a row in this house and taking in P-town from the front porch, with the view of Commercial St and the harbor, gets better and better. There have been a few improvements in the house since last year and we continued to enjoy it. Thanks again!
The house is very spacious with lots of old world charm, and modern large kitchen and three large and modern bathrooms. Front porch is a highlight. We didnât use the grill in back. Property manager was super friendly and responsive; the shared driveway was not a problem at all; property managerâs daughter and family live in a unit on the back and were also so friendly and accommodating. I look forward to staying there again. Close to everything and very quiet. We were only 3 people (one had to cancel) so didnât use the small third bedroom. A beautifully restored old house.
Great location but beware of AC (if important to you).
Great property with amazing location. Condo has been lovingly restored and has everything you need for the week. However, beware that the air conditioning is limited. We were never able to adequately cool the place (below 80 degrees). Not what you expect when paying top dollar. Also, front porch is wonderful but for the week we stayed the view of Commercial Street was obstructed by a large truck owned by the permanent tenant living in the other unit (home is made up of two condos/units).
This home is located just off the main commercial area in Provincetown. It has the ideal combination of water views (a lovely view of the bay and lighthouse just across the street), active people watching and nighttime peace and quiet. The property is large enough for a whole family, buy also manageable for just a couple. Its well equipped and comfortable. The host, Brian, is friendly and communicates well - we got some good recommmedations from him, and everything was just right when we arrived.
Our favorite thing about this house was the porch. Its comfortable, shaded, set back from the street, but well in view of thensidewalk to watch passers-by or chat with other visitors. The house is also within a very easy walk of many excellent restaurants. We had 4 or 5 good meals within 2 blocks of the house.
Theres also plenty to do in Provincetown and surrounding areas, whether you prefer visiting art galleries, getting out into nature (biking, hiking, kayaking, etc) or a mix of the two. It also has one of the best whale watching tours I've done.
Not much more to say... we could not have wished for a better house in a better spot for our week in P-town!
we had a fantastic time at Brian's home ... the house was charming and quite spacious for 2 couples, in a perfect location, with a nice porch in front where you could sit, have coffee and watch the water. hope to be back very soon!
My partner and I, his 2 adult children and one spouse stayed here for the week. I was concerned we might be on top of each other but this was not the case. There was so much room for all of us.
The house was so well appointed. The front porch, where we spent most of our time, is great for reading and people watching especially since it is set back from commercial street. We will most definitely stay here again.
The house is in the perfect location with a beautiful porch that allows you to overlook the water. The house itself is incredibly charming with the big kitchen and dining area and lots and lots of charm. We loved just being able to be out front and sit on the porch and watch the people walk by.
The beach is across the street and youâre right in the main part of Provincetown. Sun and fun. Great restaurants in the area and the best part is the fantastic house you get to live in.
This well-appointed and beautifully renovated Commerical St. property exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of room for 4 adults. We spent a great deal of time on the front porch people watching. The Commercial Street location is close enough to the 'action' of Provincetown, yet was quiet at night. Brian and his family were excellent hosts. We hope to return next year.
Retired long-term Provincetown primary care internal medicine physician. My late wife was a pediatrician here. Both our kids grew up and still live and work on the outer Cape.
This was my parents' last home together. I bought it with them in the mid 80's. I had to sell, and see it re-developed, OR restore it to it's once-elegant self. I chose the latter path, and have spent the past 3 years seeing this process to completion. The result makes me smile- and I know they would be as well.
This is a fine old home, which has been restored fully over several years, and finally available. The wood details from 1910, have been preserved carefully, as their original coatings have sustained the warm beauty of all the trim, and the floors.
