Great check in, personal service was appreciated. Nice traditional French apartment, open and spacious. Easy metro access, and the bus stop is right in front of the building door. Everything we needed for a great stay.
Loved the location! Lots of good restaurants in the neighborhood. We could easily walk to two metro stops. The beds were small but comfortable. Perfect for four people, five was manageable.
We had a lovely stay! Thank you!
The apartment is very spacious and functional. With so many metro lines close by, you are at most 30 minutes from everything, most attractions are 20 minutes away. Many restaurants in a walking distance.
Apartment was more than ample for our stay in Paris. Location was fantastic for getting around Paris by foot. Lots of cafes and groceries stores with walking distance. Giles was very accommodating and we were able to check out much later than time allotted. Listing description was very accurate. Would definitely stay here again on future trips to Paris.
Location of apartment and amenities nearby was exceptional. Size of apartment and privacy options for three individuals was very good. This was a very noisy location after 9 pm and the apartment was not clean.
Spending a week in this amazing neighborhood and then having to adjust back to suburbia USA was hard. Usually we are used to quiet, but the noise was a welcome change from our normalcy. This apartment is near everything you could need or want for a trip to Paris. The local boulangerie (Julien) is fantastic and cannot recommend enough. Across the street in the passage, the guys at the pub were so much fun to hang out with. There were little creature comforts that would be nice to have, but to have the experience of Paris for the first time, I don't think I would want to change anything. After a week, it felt like home.
Lacked bed pillows. Needs thorough cleaning. Noisy neighborhood at night. Elevator worked well! Good ventilation. Interesting clothes washer. Plenty of kitchen ware! Coffee maker needs to be descaled or replaced; took about 25 minutes to make a pot
of coffee. Good Internet. Poorly designed shower. Good option for couple and one child or a third adult.
We are a family of four, and we stayed at this property for 5 days. Our 17-year-old had a room to himself, as parents we had a beautiful room that looked out over the street, and our daughter was in the living room on a comfortable bed. It was nice to have so much space after a day of sightseeing.
Gerard was a wonderful communicator! He answered all of our questions and even let us in early the day of our arrival, which we so appreciated.
The location is great as it is in walking distance from me numerous really good restaurants, fruit stands, a grocery store, a post office, and most of the sites in the area. The Metro is close as well, and there is a bus stop right in front of the flat. The one downside is that it's a very noisy street, and with the bus stop, the noise went on late into the night. However, we got used to it and it didn't bother us after a while..
We recommend this location!
Mixed feelings. Some elements of the apartment were perfect...I loved the parisian feel..balconies with shutters that open out onto the street...high ceilings. This apartment had all those charming features of a parisian stay. However, the apartment is tired...it needs "deep clean" ie light fittings dusted, little fake flower arrangements are dusty. The apartment could do with an update so it doesn't look "grubby". The towels were "just" adequate (we are pretty easy going people ) but they were threadbare..the pillows on the beds were devoid of stuffing...meaning they were flat. The other bedding was a mix of single quilts on double beds..sheets were tired. It would make a huge difference if hotel grade bedding was invested in. Oh...we only got one tea towel for the whole week.
The apartment is situated on a very busy street so it is very noisy. I wore earplugs each night. Also, the ambience of our apartment was interrupted by the renovation of the apartment above...so for 4 out 7 days there was drilling, banging ect for around 5hrs during the day...it nearly drove a couple of our group mad.
Would I stay there again??? Hmm. Don't know.
Warum keine 5 Sterne?
I enjoyed this air b n b. Able to check in early. Like living in Paris and being a native.
We were always on the go. The apartment has everything. The internet worked well. The elevator is awesome. We watched the soccer matches. I felt secure. I would recommend this apartment for your stay in France.
