Cette maison de trois chambres rénovée par des architectes offre une vue spectaculaire sur l'océan à grand angle des plages voisines de la Rive-Sud et du Goosewing. Le niveau supérieur entièrement climatisé dispose d'un plan d'étage ouvert salon / salle à manger / cuisine avec un foyer au gaz et des plafonds cathédrale, et l'accès à deux ponts. Le niveau supérieur comprend également une chambre principale avec lit king-size et salle de bain complète, deux chambres supplémentaires (une avec un lit queen et l'autre avec des lits jumeaux), et une salle de bain. La salle familiale de niveau inférieur avec TV et aire de jeux est un lieu de rencontre idéal pour les enfants, et comprend un canapé-lit pour les invités et l'accès à une troisième salle de bain complète.

La maison est nouvelle sur le marché locatif et est meublée avec un mélange éclectique de mobilier moderne et contemporain du milieu du siècle. Les installations comprennent une cuisine entièrement équipée avec de nouveaux appareils en acier inoxydable et comptoirs de quartz, une buanderie de niveau inférieur, télévision dans les salles de séjour et familiales, Wi-Fi, une douche extérieure fermée, et accès aux chaises de plage, vélos et kayaks de mer .

perfect house, lovely area

We (myself, wife and two teen kids) like to spend a quiet week at the beach every summer but also like the option of cultural activities and plain old tourism. This property, a handsome modern beach house with impeccable interior design and all necessary amenities, located in a (to us) unfamiliar and incredibly picturesque area of Rhode Island that also happens to be a few minutes walk from a gorgeous and uncrowded beach, was ideal. We had a very pleasant week relaxing at the beach, eating in local seafood restaurants and visiting nearby Newport and Providence. Highly recommended!

Hidden gem with ocean view

This house has been beautifully decorated with high ceilings in the living room and a gourmet kitchen with a large island. The lower level can be used for foozball games, TV watching, or as a fourth bedroom with it's own bathroom. There are two decks for relaxing outdoors. The view is amazing! The management company was great! The house was extremely clean. The neighborhood is quiet and perfect for walking or biking to a nearby farm stand or the beach.

Perfect vacation house

This house is beautiful, and thoughtfully appointed. The kitchen is well stocked. There’s central air and fans. You can see the ocean from the open floor plan main room, and from the front deck. You can walk or bike to Goosewing Beach, the house has beach chairs you can borrow, and you can swim and come back to the outdoor shower, it feels amazing. There’s a basement room with foosball and a TV and pullout couch which is where our teens mostly hung out (both 17). If you love nature and swimming in the ocean and birds, along with a somewhat luxe house to stay in, you’ll be happy here. Thank you for a great week!

Fantastic stay at this beautiful home

My family of four spent the week at this Little Compton home. The house was in a great location -close to the beach and a short ride to town. The view was lovely! The house was very well appointed, clean and comfortable. Carl and the property manager were quick to respond to questions. We hope to rent again!

Little Compton house

We had beautiful views of the ocean from the house. Full moon rising from the ocean was so pretty. The house is comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. We had a very nice week.

Great House and Location

We were delighted with this home and all it had to offer. The beds were comfortable, and the hosts provided many essentials, from soap, toilet paper, paper towels, cooking supplies and more. We would stay here again- a great find!

Wonderful property

Our family of 6 adults and 2 children (10 & 14) stayed in this property August 21-28, 2021. Despite a visit from Hurricane Henri, we all agreed the house a, grounds, and location were all top notch. The owners have furnished the house thoughtfully and tastefully. Many in our family love to cook and they couldn't stop raving about how well the kitchen was appointed. Given that many restaurants were closed due to the storm, we all appreciated having a fully equipped kitchen. The beds were very comfortable; linens and towels were fresh and the house was clean. When the sun did reappear, we all enjoyed the bikes and kayaks. The last night we had a fire on the beach(must be prearranged) and sat for hours enjoying the sea, the night sky and requisite s'mores. Thank you Carl and Beth - we loved your house. Claire M

Excellent vacation rental

We had an excellent stay at this lovely home. Inside and out the home was immaculate when we arrived. Everything one would need for a comfortable visit was supplied. Internet connection was excellent. There was a lovely view of the ocean from the front deck, and a good size yard out front for kids to play. The beach is a short drive or comfortable walk from the house and the neighborhood is quiet.

Wonderful!

The house is extremely well-stocked, in a great location near the beach, and the kids enjoyed playing in the huge front yard. The views of the ocean are beautiful and the neighborhood is calm and serene. It was a wonderful week at the beach for my family and we look forward to returning.

Family favorite!

This was our second stay at this property. The house is very comfortable and welcoming - wonderful family spaces to hang out together, great neighborhood and exceptional views of the ocean. The air conditioning was a plus as the week we were visiting was hot and humid. Short walk to South Shore beach. Owner was attentive w all communications. Will definitely return!

Wonderful family vacation week

It us not easy to get 6 adults with different work schedules all together but we did this past week and it was wonderful.The house was immaculate and very well laid out for all to have their own space when needed We loved dinners on the back deck and coffee on the front deck with a perfect view of the ocean. Could not have asked for a better place. We hoper to book again next year

Super fabulous rental

the property was as listed/shown on VRBO site. Clean and well maintained. Great location in walking distance to beach. Many extras that one doesn't always get; bikes, kayaks, chairs and kitchen well stocked. Comfortable beds, appliances all in working order. Peaceful and quiet. The renovations made for a well appointed and decorated space. We would definitely return.

Bright and clean - perfectly furnished!

I hesitate to write a review since I worry that it will mean that it will be harder to reserve this special property! Being an owner of a getaway property, I know how hard it is to create and maintain an exceptional experience. 49 Ocean Drive is just that - exceptional. If you want a peaceful experience in an ideal setting with views all the way to Westport's neck, then this is it. The house was literally renovated from top to bottom with nothing left to chance. It's comfortably furnished and easy to relax in. The beach is very close by - an easy walk any time of the day. One can also drive there if you like. The neighborhood is quiet and one immediately feels welcomed. If cooking is your thing, then the kitchen is well equipped and one can make a meal and find all of the gadgets and items needed. Overall, this is a 5 star property!

Everything you need and more. Great location, great amenities, great neighbors! We have been going to LC for well over 10 years and this was hands down our favorite house ever! Will return for sure...if this house ever goes on the market I’d snatch it up in a second.

Fantastic Ocean View

This is a beautiful, well-appointed vacation property in a fantastic location in Little Compton. My wife and I have been making extended stays in the area for the past 10 years and this is one of the best properties we've ever booked. The house easily accommodated our four adults and two kids, 8 and 11. The kids and adults enjoyed playing frisbee and whiffle ball in the evening on the expansive front lawn. Especially inviting is the front, east-facing deck for evening relaxation and ocean watching and the back deck for morning coffee and for planning the day at the beach--which is less than a mile away. Although, we drove and brought some gear with us, the house has beach chairs, kayaks, and a beach wagon. It also has a very nice outdoor shower with hot water.

Little Compton - Our Happy Place!

We’ve been vacationing in LC for many years and found our happy place! The house has a/c which is unusual in LC. But the most striking feature was a view of the ocean from any room in the front of the house. We loved to cook on vacation and the kitchen had everything we needed. The grandkids loved riding the bikes and playing lawn games. There also is a game room on the lower level. We flew into Providence so we were happy linens were provided, but bring beach towels if you’re planning to go to the nearby South Shores beach. We loved having breakfast on the back deck and happy hour on the front deck looking at the ocean. Three bedrooms and baths - perfect for the seven of us!

Great house

We had a fantastic time at this property for one week in the winter. Even though it was cold and we only accessed the beach for a quick walk, waking up each morning with a view of the ocean was therapeutic. The house was was well-appointed and the open common space was great for hosting family dinners. The game room downstairs was much appreciated by the kids. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

Wonderful location! Great house!

This is a great family house - perfect for gathering family. Our daughters live far away and we have family in Little Compton -so it was the perfect gathering spot. A great place to entertain and feed a crowd of 10! Great kitchen set up. We all love to cook - kitchen was a great to cook in! Sleeps 6 very comfortably and even 8 when my Boston daughter came for a few nights! We love Little Compton and the beaches are very close by. A wonderful place for long walks. Carl did a fantastic job renovating the house! Definitely plan to return next year! Hopefully for longer! Very clean and well maintained house. Thank you Carl!
