Pros: Location is great, house was clean when we got there, owner was very responsive and nice!
Cons: Does smell strongly of moth balls but you get used to it pretty quickly
The neighborhood is located near shopping centers and amenities. Overall, The neighborhood feels safe and has a lot of wildlife visitors. The plus side of the property; It was easy to get in contact with the owner, wi-fi service was good, parking was available (driveway), the house can probably sleep 5 people, itâs pet friendly, there are 2 areas to sit outside (deck and yard), thereâs laundry amenity, and access to pool and lake at no extra charge. The negative aspects; lighting is poor in the kitchen area and the microwave was not working and this was reported to the owner. Overall, I would stay again at the property.
Very clean and cozy. The check in took a little long but the people in the office were nice. Only dislike was the extreme smell of moth balls. Overrall, nice stay.
We had a wonderful time in this cute and cozy chalet.
The only thing we couldnât figure out was the fireplace but it didnât dampen the stay. We will definitely enjoy a return stay.
Great place, nice and cozy. Quiet place. We had a problem with the fireplace which didnât work
Overall it was great. The fireplace never worked although the owner tired to give us instructions over the phone on how to turn it on. It never worked and was told someone would come to fix or check it but never came. Otherwise a great stay.
Owner was great and super accommodating with a late checkout on Sunday. House was as advertised and well stocked.
A tad about the "community:" you have to make sure that all drivers are on the list in order to check in.
The "beach" is a very small area (like tiny) and the lifeguards are very strict about kids swimming. There are no SUP allowed (which when I called the community they didn't specify!) and the pool rules are incredibly strict. The community told us it was an easy walk to the beach/pool but you have to cross the main road, I wouldn't do it with kids.
On the upside, there is a wonderful little beach at Lake Tobyhanna state park which is free with bathrooms and showers and only 10 min away.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay up in the Poconos. The house had everything we needed. The location was quiet and even though we were close to other houses, we were greeted by a family of deer that walked to within three feet of the deck.
Great little house for a stay in the Poconos with our two fur babies!
Nicely renovated cottage with plenty of space for my husband and I with our two 40 lb. dogs. Small area outside for the dogs and the ability to leash walk was adequate for their needs. Kitchen was well stocked and we could have easily cooked every night without missing a thing. All the modern conveniences one would expect in a home in good condition.
We were very happy with the house few things either didnât work or we had no idea how they worked like the tv in loft n the oven otherwise it was a lovely stay
I would recommend everyone to stay in this pretty place. Owner is very considerate and friendly. She actually had very stuffed kitchen, you could have even pancakes cooked! house is very cleaned and neat. Outdoor place is is equipped with barbecue and charcoal and nice comfortable table with chairs. This place has even beach and fishing supplies :) not talking about nice bike for a ride. I would certainly come back with my family in the near future.
