OTTER COVE est une maison au bord du lac avec 3 chambres et 1 salle de bain avec une fin de vie privée. Murs en pin noueux, planchers de bois, fenêtres panoramiques tout au long du lac. OTTER COVE se trouve à 20 pieds du lac avec la pêche à la truite (lac approvisionné) avec le lac sur deux côtés. Port Orford est une petite ville d'environ 1500 et est le plus ancien site de la ville sur la côte sud de l'Oregon et est la ville la plus à l'ouest des 48 États inférieurs. L'océan est à environ 1500 pieds à l'ouest et est facilement accessible en voiture.
OTTER COVE peut accueillir 10 personnes et possède un lit queen dans la grande chambre principale, 2 lits doubles ou doubles dans la 2e chambre et 2 lits jumeaux dans la 3e chambre. Il y a un grand lit dans le salon. Télévision par câble, WIFI, poêle à granulés pour la chaleur, barbecue à gaz
Une journée normale est d'avoir des cerfs pour manger sur la pelouse, des loutres jouant dans le lac ou sur l'herbe, des canards, des oies, des huards et des tortues quelques Ospreys en train de déjeuner et même un pygargue à tête blanche. Vous pourriez voir les renards passer ou le Bobcat local. Les corbeaux vous divertiront et voleront tout ce qu'ils peuvent à l'extérieur. Aucun voisin proche et une vue magnifique sur notre petit bras du lac et une excellente pêche à la truite et au brochet. OTTER COVE n'est pas luxueux mais adoré pour son charme douillet.

OTTER COVE is located in a residential area and there are rules we ask everyone to obey. QUIET TIME STARTS AT 9PM Please respect or neighbors sleep

Stay for the summer!

In the context of an older lakeside cabin, we loved it! The first day we wanted to stay all summer. A 19th century vibe with 21st century appliances and heat pump. Some original hardwood, some LVP, HUGE rooms, three bay windows overlooking the private, peaceful lake just a few steps away...no other house is this close. We found everything we needed from a French coffee press to a rubber band. And only three minutes to town! It's plenty clean, and if you have a dog, you'll enjoy the fenced run and extras. If you don't, you won't be offended by odors. Real people live here, and you'll want to live here too.

Otter Cove Weekend

This was our ninth stay at Otter Cove! We went back and reviewed old pics of earlier stays. Lots of great memories. The renovations to the house are wonderful! The kitchen looks great and is well stocked.The laundry area is awesome! Love all the nightlights, the pads in the bay windows and option for curtain usage in the bay windows! Otter Cove is full of wild life and there is nothing more relaxing than sitting there at the windows and watching! Great weather allowed us to be canoe with the grand kids for the first time in three years. We were three adults and two children ages 6 and 9 and we managed with one bathroom! LOL!

We had a nice cozy stay at the Otter Cove house. It was windy and rainy a few days but we enjoyed watching the lake and relaxing for our 5 night stay. I know my family would enjoy coming back sometime in the summer.

A lovely stay at a lovely location

I have stayed at this rental a few times now and it never disappoints. The views from the house are spectacular. The location is close to town but feels like it is away from it all. The beds are comfy. I highly recommend this place!

Peaceful and relaxing stay

Overall, a nice and relaxing stay. Nice views looking across the lake. Location was very private and just a short drive into town to the beach. The water in the lake at the end of August was pretty low, but the fishing is probably good when the lake is deeper and cooler in the spring. Nice spacious living room and fast and reliable Internet.

Very clean and layed out well. Has a great veiw and has a very cozy feeling. Neighbors aren't to close so you feel secluded. Only a 5 minute drive to port Orford.

Location, location, location!!!!

This home is private, quiet, and perfect for a quick family trip. The Pros, the lake is the star of the show here, the views are spectacular, the weather is beautiful in June and the rooms are good sized. Now the cons, The home defiantly needs a good cleaning, we ended up sweeping the bedrooms since the dust and dirt was sticking to our feet. The exterior of the home needs some love/ maintenance, there was dust and cobwebs in the rooms/ on the exterior of the home. Overall would recommend just wish it was cleaner.

Beautiful property

The property was very beautiful. Bedrooms needed to be cleaned, we cleaned under the beds and knocked down the spider webs before we could sleep. Several spiders were vacuumed up. Furniture needed to be upgraded, in my opinion. Front porch light was hanging by a wire, host was notified. Enjoyed our stay very much!

Cozy in a great location

This house could not be in a better location. You are right next to the lake which is perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding. We saw so much wildlife in the cove in which the house is situated It is, also, just a short drive or walk to the beach. The house is a rustic cabin with comfy furniture and large bedrooms. If you want a quiet and cozy vacation this is a great house for you.

Garrison Lake, serenity.

The bay windows in the bedroom, living room and kitchen allowed us a prime view of the lake, a few feet from the house. Each had sitting cushions from which you could read and enjoy the morning sun. LOVED THIS PLACE

This place was perfect for us. So perfect we decided to change our wedding location from Cape Blanco to here! Beautiful views of the lake! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The pellet stove kept the place warm! Very comfortable beds and couches. We hope to return again! The only negative was the dock was broken. Otherwise the dogs had a blast!

Wonderful relaxing lakeside property

This was our third time in this home, and every visit was a treat. The property is beautiful and peaceful, and fishing and boating on the lake are very relaxing. The home is very comfortable and has been outfitted with everything a family of many generations could ask for in the way of entertainment. An additional bonus is that it is dog-friendly, which is one of our primary requirements for rental homes. We couldn't ask for more!
