Property was as advertised, but first impressions weren't so great. Master bath toilet seat was delaminating and unsightly. Master BR ceiling fan did not work. Wooden transitions between rooms had protruding/sharp nails which presented a daily hazard. Mixing bowls were all chipped and cut one guest's finger. Garage and entry were very dirty so hard not to track into unit! Pool area and deck were poorly maintained, with junk piled all around. Liked the unit overall, especially the wall-to-wall windows, and it was obviously renovated in the last several years, but would not stay here again for the money.
We had a very good stay. The place was clean and very welcoming. We liked the large windows, the TV and sound bar, spacious and very bright. It was just perfect.
Great location but expected more regarding cleanliness. There was trash behind the couch, used coffee in the coffee machine, food in the fridge, 2 lightbulbs out in the kitchen, and exposed screws in the floor which someone stepped on. Largest spider Iâve seen in a house in a long time, size of my hand spread out,on the wall in the master. Also, hot tub was green with 75% topped with heavy foam. I donât generally give detailed negative reviews like this but I expected a lot more for a place like this.
Had a great time at this clean and pleasant condo. The fireplace and free firewood added a nice touch to the ambiance. The appliances and the accessories were of great quality. 101 Great Escapes was very professional and organized and a pleasure to work with. The reason for the 4-Star is that is was very pricey.
As pictured, the tree views are serene. The condo is comfortable and stocked with basics, including plenty of firewood. Ski in is easy, ski out is a hike but doable for intermediate skiers. Note: Timber Ridge is up a windy road that can be very icy and slick; 4x4 and chains are a must. Although property manager promises taxi and delivery service, they disappear when the road is icy. Bring enough food up the hill for the entire stay because you won't want to drive down the hill at night.
