The has was is perfect for our multi-generational group of grandparents, grandkids and their parents. It is spacious, well-equipped, quiet and even stayed cool inside during Montana’s record heat wave! Communication was good as were the check-in details. We would highly recommend this beautiful log home for families and extended families.

The rooms got quite stuffy and hot even with the windows open, even at night. For the price we paid, I guess I would have expected there to be working A/C. I understand that it wasn’t listed as an “amenity” so that’s on me, but given the hot days we were there, sleeping at night was uncomfortable.You advertise that it sleeps 10-12, so we also would have thought there would be a

We are sorry your stay wasn't comfortable. We do not have central AC nor do we advertise having central AC. In the hottest times of the summer, the night time temps are in the low 60's so if guests follow the fan/open windows at night and closed in the morning, the house stays cool. I can't see the rest of your comments but we will certainly fix whatever is wrong for the next group.

Our stay at Vern and Laurie’s home was awesome! The home is remote (exactly what we were looking for), with the closest grocery store about 25 minutes away. The views from the deck were absolutely spectacular, especially at night. Vern and Laurie were so welcoming. We went to the river by their home and ended up chatting with them for a bit. We were asking about places to see more animals, and Vern even offered to take us around if time permitted. They could not have been nicer. Tanya, Vern and Laurie’s daughter, manages the listing, and she was so friendly and communicative. When we head to Yellowstone again, we will definitely stay at their home!

The cabin was the perfect spot for our family. Check in was easy. The hosts were quick to respond to any question and they provided complete driving instructions and lots of helpful planning info. The host had a pack & play, high chair and some toys for the littlest member and puzzles, games & cards for the rest of us. The cabin was clean with all the basic necessities and lots of extras. The view is stunning and we had a herd of bighorn sheep that were in the yard almost the entire week! We would highly recommend and hope to stay again in the future.

We had an excellent time. Easy in and out to Yellowstone. The setting was beautiful and peaceful. Cabin was big enough for all to stay comfortably. Owners were most helpful and took care of us with welcome basket and a clean well stocked place to stay.

It was a great location to stay and you can see wildlife like bears & elk down the road about 15 minutes from the property if you don’t want to go into the park! Place was clean and private. Perfect for our family!

Yellowstone Visit

Wonderful place to see wildlife just up the road behind the house. We saw elk, deer, and grizzly bears one evening before sunset. The two bedrooms upstairs were roomy, great for family. Great communication with host. We would love to come back again.

Beautiful, convenient location with friendly hosts

This property is great for a family vacation. About 20-25 minutes from Yellowstone, with lots of opportunities to see wildlife in the area. The house is clean, spacious and well equipped. The hosts were very friendly and helped us spot even more wildlife in the area. There is a small but well stocked grocery store in Gardiner for daily needs. Overall I highly recommend staying here.

Perfect stay!

Our stay at this property couldn’t have been better. Home was clean, well appointed and spacious for our group of seven. Views were wonderful, owners offered some great suggestions for things to do and the deck was great for both enjoying the sun in the daytime and stargazing at night. Highly recommend for larger groups!

Great quiet location near Yellowstone

The house was just as advertised. Well laid out for the 6 of us, and very clean. It was also well equipped as we cooked extensively, indoors and out, for our group. I wouldn't hesitate to return again in the future.

Peace and harmony

A wonderful place to stay and just a short drive from Yellowstone National Park. The views from the veranda are beautiful and there are plenty of birds and wildlife to see in the area. The house is clean, comfortable and well equipped. The Grill restaurant at Sage Lodge (recommended by Laura and Vern) is excellent and definitely worth a visit

Great location, comfy stay

We are an extended family of 9 (siblings, spouses, 3 teens and grandparents) most of whom are visiting Yellowstone for the first time! The property was exactly as described. The hosts were responsive when we had a minor shower issue. They even gave us super useful wildlife viewing tips! And you cannot beat the location. We didn’t have time to stay longer, sadly. 10/10 totally recommend.
