Perfect house for our stay. The only thing that would have made the stay better was if there was a washer and dryer included in the house. Other than that, the house is located in a great location with walking distance to restaurants and grocery store.
We enjoyed our short stay here. Pretty much just slept there as we were enjoying the Park. We loved the North Entrance with No Crowds while we were there. We saw Elk and Antelope on the side of the mountain across from the Home. Best part is the market across the street. We had No Issues parking along the road while we were there. Would Highly Recommend if you are a group of 4 or less. Just 1 Bathroom which was OK for us.
Overall a great location if youâre looking to visit Yellowstone and the Gallatin Mountains. We put a lot of miles on and didnât feel like we travelled that far.
Les points faibles : Communication et exactitude de lâannonce
The house was clean, as described. However, there was no heat in the 2 bedrooms and the bathroom and we were renting in late May when the night time temperatures dip into the 30s. The owner told us that the bedrooms and bath would warm up with the only heating unit, which was installed in the living room, however that was not the case. Communication was also difficult. The local number given was disconnected. Additionally, the double bed does not have a bedstead but was a mattress on a frame up against a window.
Very clean and nicely decorated. Close to Yellowstone entrance, Montana activities and local grocery. Able to see various wildlife. For a new rental , it was great. Management was available and great to work with. Thank you for sharing your home!
Property is located on a main street in Gardiner within close proximity to Lamar Valley. The property is clean and cozy, but a little tight for four seniors. Furnishings are geared more for college students. The town closes at 9:00 p.m., so get back from your day early enough to grab a bite to eat. Local restaurants have good food.
My mom and I stayed here two nights during our trip to Yellowstone. First, I much prefer Gardiner to West Yellowstone. You are further away from the geyser basins, but closer to Mammoth and Albright. The real bonus is that the town is nicer.
The house was super cute and easy to find. Plenty of extra towels and pillows/blankets. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The house has a polished feel without being sterile. Check-in was easy and communication was fast.
Really loved staying here and hope to come back!
We loved our stay in Gardiner! This house is right in the middle of everything the town has to offer and it's very easy to walk to wherever you need to be. Right across the street is the grocery store and a couple of places to set up rafting, zip-lining, etc. The house had everything we needed. I would say that the bedrooms get a little stuffy as there is no central AC, but there is a window unit in the living room and a few fans. It was just warmer at night than what we find comfortable, but we made it work. Overall the house is just what you need when visiting Gardiner/Yellowstone.
We enjoyed our stay at this property. The advantages of this property were location (right on the main road through Gardiner & super close to the north entrance of Yellowstone). The property manager was very responsive. The size of the house was perfect for our group of 4 but probably wouldn't be very comfortable for more people.
The cons are also location because parking can be tricky if it is busy in town. We were always able to find a spot nearby & move our vehicle closer later. Also the listing says "air conditioning". There are fans and 2 are somewhat fancy. It was a little warm for us during our late June stay. The backyard is nice has lots of improvements. It is smaller than in the pictures. We didn't spend time in the backyard though because the front porch was very nice.
We would visit again and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property in Gardiner.
This house worked out perfectly for our week exploring Yellowstone NP. Gardiner is at the North entrance to the park. This house is within walking distance to everything in the town, including a grocery store just across the street.
House is recently renovated & has newer feel for an older home. No dishwasher or washer/drier, but didnât cause us too much grief. Kitchen is minimally stoked, but has most essentials you would need. We would certainly stay here again.
