The apartment was super clean, everything was as pictured. we thought the place was perfect for what we needed, which was a clean place to stay close to the University. 5 Stars, will stay here again!
Amazing and really pretty location. Downtown and Railbird were both walkable and fun.Hosts have made an incredible use of space. The shower is a bit odd, but if that is my biggest complaint, well I knew that going in. Would totally stay here again. LOVED it!
Loved this apartment-so many nooks and crannies! Very clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The bed sheets smelled amazing! The hosts were very helpful answering questions. The neighborhood is very conveniently located.
The property was wonderful, it was clean and perfect place to stay for a concert at Rupp Arena. It was within walking distance. The coffee shop down the street was amazing. The property owners were very kind and welcoming. It was a fun evening with friends and we would definitely stay here again. If your looking for the best Vbro look no further stay here, you will not be disappointed!
This was a perfect place to stay! We were passing through Lexington to split a long drive home from vacation. We only stayed one night, but my family agreed this would be a great apartment to stay for a longer visit to Lexington. Location was wonderful and I appreciated the historical designation for the neighborhood. Street parking worked out great! Beds were comfy and the laundry detergent they use makes the towels and sheets smell amazing. Itâs a renovated attic space so there are lots of angled walls and nooks and crannies giving it some character. Great artwork on the walls and hung low (due to the wall angles) which added to the fun. Owners very responsive and friendly.
Loved everything about our stay!! We own an old house ourselves and it's always fun to see the way that people renovate their space. This property is very tastefully decorated with lots of beautiful plants outside (and next door!). The kitchen is great, HVAC system is great, and the property was very clean. I felt safe enough to do tummy time with my baby on the floor, so that should tell you how nice it felt!
Towels and basic amenities were well stocked. I'll say the water pressure is fine, but maybe not so much for those with thick hair. Also the shower is more of a bath unless you're very short. All totally fine from my point of view.
Will definitely keep this location on my list. Loved it!
We had a great stay in this property. It was SO close to Rupp Arena (5 minute walk, if that) and provided 2 street parking passes for easy parking.
The property was exquisitely clean and there were plenty of amenities (thanks for the K-Cups...much needed). It's the upper part of an old house so you do have to deal with the slanting roof lines re: ceilings and the bathroom only has a tub with a "portable" shower head due to the slanted ceiling above the tub, but it's all very doable.
It was a perfect space for our family who stayed there as well as for others to visit prior to our son's graduation at Rupp Arena.
The hosts are great! They were very informative and quick to get back to us with questions.
We would definitely recommend this location and would stay there again!
We loved the apt. The only downside was the bathroom. The shower is more of a tub so none of our group showered. The sink is small and dated. The rest of the apt is delightful and eclectic! Our group especially appreciated the cleanliness of the unit. It met all of our needs as we only stayed the one night.
The apartment was clean and furnished nicely. We only stayed one night and were able to walk to a few bars/restaurants. Things to note: the staircase to the apartment is steep and narrow, and the beds have extra firm mattresses.
Super clean! ,Easy walk downtown and this is in cute neighborhood.
Shower was a challenge, but we are tall folks, and it is as described in the listing.
Owners are quick to respond and we hope to be back. :0)
Thoroughly enjoyed this artsy little apartment where we could enjoy walking in downtown Lexington. So many nice touches - real plants, art, coffee and snack bars. Hosts were very responsive for another excellent vrbo stay!
Bonus that it was available for a one night stay on our extended road trip.
We're both Kentucky natives. Haviland is from Cynthiana, and John is from Lebanon. We rented an apartment in the house for several years and bought it in the summer of 2016 because we found it charming and also knew it would be challenging. It was in a state of disrepair when we bought it, and almost every area in the house had critical issues to address. We spent 18-months doing an intense DIY renovation to make it as inviting and comfortable as we can for our guests. We're still making minor adjustments and improvements almost daily, and it's become more of a passion now than work.
This particular apartment is within a historic house in a residential neighborhood near Downtown Lexington. It is in walking distance to bars and restaurants, and the owners live next door at 321 and are almost always available if-needed.
This home has many unique features, from the gingerbread moulding on the porch, to the hardwood floors inside. We purchased it from a friend who purchased it from a friend. We are constantly working to make it even better. Our favorite space is probably the backyard which is shared with all 3-apartments in the house.
