Our stay at The Cozy Downtown Townhouse was very nice. We were there for 5 days while watching the NCAAs at Rupp Arena.
The walk to the arena is very short and through what felt a very safe neighborhood day and night. There are many places to eat and explore within a short walk from the townhouse. We had a very enjoyable stay.
The townhouse itself was great with two nice bedrooms and a big living room. Communication with the owner was quick and easy with very fast responses to questions. I would highly recommend.
We stayed for a week. Itâs close to the downtown area but off the road enough to be quiet and peaceful. Walking distance to Rupp Arena, Lexington Brewery / Distillery and restaurants. Definitely recommend staying here.
Very clean and comfortable place to stay. Additional benefit was that each bedroom had its own full bath. Easy walking distance to downtown and within 100-200 yards of a wonderful brewery/distillery.
Spent a few days here with a friend. Liked that each bedroom had a private attached full bath. Close to downtown Lexington, was able to walk to downtown area within 10 minutes
Very clean- but dated. A fresh coat of paint and perhaps vinyl plank flooring to replace the carpet might freshen it up. The location and floor plan was perfect for our stay and would stay again.
Property is located near several distilleries. Very convienient for the tours. Rupp Arena was within walking distance so this would be a good option during Wildcat basketball. Clean and spacious. Check in and check out was very easy. We enjoyed our stay.
The unit was clean, and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. The unit had everything we required for our stay. That said, the unit could use some repair work here and there, and some updating would go a long way. Sorry I can't be more specific, we have been traveling alot, and it all melts together. and a
Our group of 6 stayed at this property while we were in town for a bourbon tour, concert, and general checking-out a new area. We had an absolute blast. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, perfect walking distance to a couple places we went and a very easy Uber to the rest. Communication with Ben was excellent. The only recommendation I have would be some sort of dresser, even a small one, in the bedroom at the top of the stairs. I didn't pay attention if the other bedroom had one or not, but my husband and I tried to live out of our suitcase for the weekend and that became very disorganized very quickly. It wouldn't stop us from staying here again, just would be a nice addition. 10/10!
Great location. Minutes from downtown and major attractions. Parking is easy and no extra costs for that. If we are ever in Lexington again we would use this location again and again.
I've used VRBO for many a year...20 years to be more exact... and never posted one complaint. Photos were accurate. Location was great. However, attention to detail left a lot to be desired. Fireplace is merely for decorative purposes. Outdoor space was a horrible disappointment. Quality of towels was poor...one washcloth was provided for the use of four people and, subsequently, was told that more could be found in the dryer. Dishes and silverware inadequate. Microwave stopped working on Day No. 2 of 5. Discovered a countertop microwave in a closet and used it.
Communication with Ben was great from start to finish. House had everything we needed for our stay. Convenient to our visiting friends and touring the Bourbon Trail.
I live in downtown Lexington, KY with my wife and three sons. We love our downtown neighborhood that allows us to easily walk around the city to explore the many outdoor festivals, new restaurants, and breweries that have revitalized downtown Lexington.
