Relaxing and Quiet Vacation

The room was very clean and located in a very quiet area and a convenient 5 to 7 minute walk to the beach. Excellent communication with the property owner/manager. We had a very enjoyable vacation.

Great little cabin

Cabin has a surprisingly private back deck, a comfortable bed, and is located in a great area. Management was responsive and friendly. Would rent again.

Love Night Heron

Our stay at Night Heron was enjoyable. The condo is conveniently located near shopping and Sea Pines Beach access is a short walk away. Pet friendly too!! Planning for our next stay.

A little dated, but a great stay!

We had a wonderful time! My husband and I love staying in Sea Pines, and the night heron bungalows are our favorite! There were a few dings and stains on the walls within the bungalow, a little paint peeling, and some broken shades, but otherwise very clean, and very cozy! The bed was very comfortable and the screen doors allowed for nice fresh air to come in during the day. Thank you folks at Beach Bum! :)

Very Nice place.

The place was ideal for a week of vacation.Fairly near to the most dog-friendly beach ever. The cleanliness of some utensils,kitchen drawers,and bathroom could improve.No dust pan. Very quiet neabourghood. Amazing vacation overall.

Perfect location, perfect spot for 2!

We LOVED our stay. It was so clean and is such a short walk to the beach. The Sea Pines area really makes it feel like you're on vacation with the bike paths and restaurants. The back deck is private and lovely and the neighborhood is quiet and secluded. 10/10 recommend, absolutely loved this spot. If you want to save $9, it's close enough to the gate that someone could just walk in (maybe 5 minutes) and grab the weekly pass from the place to get the car in the gate. Also, the pictures didn't look like there was a door on the bedroom, but there is.

39 Night Heron Lane

Once again we enjoyed our stay at this property. We stayed here in October as well. It is a perfect property for a couple looking for a great location! Though there is a fold-out sofa, there is only one bedroom and one bathroom....which is accessed only by walking through the bedroom. This could be a little awkward if another couple or older children were staying as well. That said, it's absolutely perfect for my wife and I and we would not hesitate staying there anytime! Well worth it!

Serine and surrounded by nature.

Had an absolutely amazing stay at Barefoot Bungalow. Everything you need the minute you walk in the door and completely surrounded by nature. The beach is a true five minute walk. We spent every morning walking at least 5 miles on the beach and every evening sitting on the back deck watching the alligators turtles and numerous birds living their best life. I would highly recommend Barefoot Bungalow. I would have given it five stars however i was stuck on the couch while my mom took the bed but they both were a bit uncomfortable. That still would not stop me from staying here again.

Cute bungalow

Perfect pet-friendly little house for a couple. Hosts were helpful with bike rentals and responsive to questions. A short walk to the beach. The beach cart, chairs and umbrella were terrific! No beach towels are provided, so bring them. The W/D and BBQ were welcome, and the A/C was quiet and efficient. Minor downsides: the unit could use a deep-clean- baseboards, air vents and fans had lots of dust on them, a duvet with washable cover would be preferable to a bedspread, and the beige LR chairs were pretty dirty (leatherette may be easier to maintain in a pet-friendly rental :). Finally, the nature views were great but back and front porch were quite overgrown. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

39 Night Heron Lane

The location and size of the property were perfect for just my wife and I. Being there is only one bathroom, and accessed only by walking through the bedroom, I would think twice about using the fold-out for other people...but for a couple, it was great. I will say, they could REALLY use new kitchen ware. The 3 frying pans were ALL warped and forget about them being stick free. They were really bad. However, we really only used them for breakfast, so the issue wasn't show stopping. If expectations are managed, with seeing the cost and the pictures, it's a great property in a great location. My wife and I will certainly look at this exact property next year.....and perhaps bring our own frying pan!! ;-)

Perfect location

My husband and I have been vacationing on Sea Pines for over 40 years and love it!! This location is perfect for going to the beach - just about 8 minute walk. You can also easily bike to any place on Sea Pines. This year we brought our dog for the first time. This unit was perfect for her, with a nice deck out back. The unit was clean and stocked with all of the products we needed for our 1 week stay. Only suggestion - bring your own pillows!

First time staying at Night Heron

Overall the property was as advertised. It looked like the floors had been renovated but it could use some TLC in areas like the kitchen and bathroom. The refrigerator was rusting on the side and the bathroom shower frame was in need of repair. Some positives were the location. It was only a short walk to the beach and to the pool. Although the unit does not come furnished with beach chairs which would be a nice addition. The pull out bed should also be cleaned or replaced altogether it was very dirty when we opened it. Overall we would rent here again just not this particular unit.

Great place to stay, Convenient and very quiet. Very friendly owners. It is at the end of the development in a court. So zero traffic an noise. Will say the place could use a bit of a deep clean. Dust and cobwebs in lights, and those hard to reach places. Other than that we will be back!!! John

Everything was as described and pictured. No surprises, nice cottage in a nice area and a great location. Yeah, we got chased out of Hilton Head by a hurricane but still had a great stay.

The bungalow was just okay

The unit was rather tired looking. Ants in kitchen quite often. The sliding doors don't lock. One had a pvc pipe in the bottom to prevent door from opening. But the bedroom door didn't. The screens on the doors also had holes. Which of course let mosquitoes in. You're on a pond/lagoon and there is no view off deck just very overgrown The couch and two chairs were very old and uncomfortable. The cushions were shot. Bed is firm but comfortable. Expect ants, palmetto bugs too. We won't be staying there again.

Location is perfect

The location and size of this Vrbo was perfect. The cleanliness and attention to detail was lacking. Although the owner arranged and informed us ahead of time that the unit would be cleaned we arrived to find that the unit was lacking cleanliness. It needed and hour plus of cleaning, dusting, and moping. Owner offered to send back cleaning service but after traveling 15+ hours we didn’t want to leave right after arriving. Unit also had lots of little details that could be improved. Silver wear was all mangled from going through garbage disposal, garbage area and outdoor shower was covered in poison ivy. The deck outside had a lot of rot on it and didn’t seem incredibly secure. Other than those issues the location and proximity to the beach were fantastic.

Great spot

This place was perfect for myself, my husband and our small dog. The walk to the beach was just right, recommend a beach cart for all your stuff. Beach was quiet compared to Coligny but walkable In about 30 mins along the beach. Very clean and bigger than we imagined! We’d come back!
