I can't tell you haw nice it was to have these folks here. They made my day, three days in a row. I was sorry to see them go, and they are most welcome anytime they can come down. As much as I hate to say it, I have no idea where they got this stuff. There was no food on the table, absolutely, I stood there and went over the house rules with them, put the keys on the table, it was shining when they checked in. No vomit or anything else under the couch. The baseboards will be painted in the fall, as they are every year, and they are swept when guests check out. The toilet was absolutely sparkling. inside and out, cleaned with a top line cleaner, outside done with Spic and Span spray cleaner to kill germs. These were not guests I would want back before I saw this review, this just adds another reason. Very hard on the property and very little communication about these items whatsoever. Maybe just angry people, I don't know. What requests they made, I complied with as quickly as possible, none of those requests made any comment about what is contained in this review.

This woman checked in in a bad mood, for a two night stay. She got lost, and refused directions when I tried to give them. When they finally arrived,she had an extra guest.I assume she didn't think anyone know, since most places just leave a key out and never meet the guests. I got extra linens for them, offered beach towels ( not kept in the units), she refused them. There are four new beach chairs in the closet, apparently she wasn't listening when I told her where they were. That would explain why she didn't do the check out items that were explained to her. As for dirty floors, these are white tile floors, and are swiftered last thing after cleaning. If people find dirt , they brought it in themselves. There may have been a dead bug, we spray, but they come in with people if the doors are left open, also covered in the house rules. As to cooking utensils, Florida law requires a notice stating that we do not clean eating utensils. Which is why many people use single serve. The stove alarm was going off when I cleaned today, That is because the guests moved the settings on the stove top and left it in the clean/alarm position, I just turned it off. Living room furniture was shampooed in Jan., and the bath towels are about a year old. Don't know what else to say. I was pretty sure from the phone conversation trying to get her here that she was not going to have a good time no matter where she ended up. Sorry it was here.

I am glad things went well for these folks, they were polite, sweet people, and I didn't see them a lot, because they were at the beach. Hard to know where to start. Cleaning was done by professional company before he got here, because I was in the hospital. Deep cleaning was done two months before his arrival. He moved the queen bed and found a paper there, went off about it. As for furniture, it was also shampooed two months before his arrival. When I got out of the hospital and could walk, I met him and asked if everything was alright, he stood there and told me it was great and they were enjoying themselves. We had FOUR of those conversations.When I was able to go yardwork , again, one month into his stay, I found a poison box, removed it and set capture traps, which is what I do. He had a fit, and I told him, I just won't use poison for a lot of reasons, to which he went on a true rant and I never had a chance to answer.. They did not need to buy sheets, and when I offered clean towels, they declined. Funny, the guests in the unit next door had no problems at all for the entire time of their stay, and the guests who came in when they left, love the land-scaping, as do most guests here. As for his dead rats, all I can say is that nothing has shown up in the traps and other than one raccoon, while and since they left no one else has seen anything.. I was sure I didn't want these folks back, again, after the first meeting, they had an edge that wasn't comfortable, and I was, actually, concerned about what I would find when they left. They ran electric lines I told them they could not have for insurance reasons, and generally just did what they wanted. Part of this is due to my not meeting them when they checked in (broken femur), but their check-in was handled by the large rental company next door, (whom he praised). Of course, that is also who did the cleaning he ripped apart. I cannot comment on anything in the unit when he got here, I was in surgery and bedridden for almost two weeks. My attempts at checking on the tenant when I got out were met with his :" Everything is wonderful" comment until we clashed over the poison. I don't know what else to say.
