Anna Maria Sunsets - studio

This condo is at the Tortuga Inn which is the perfect beach to bay resort on Florida's unspoiled Anna Maria Island. Plus a private white sand beach just across the street with two heated pools. A private pergola with amazing ocean views and watercraft rentals. Beach chairs are included at no extra charge. Restaurants, cafes, bars, gifts shops, grocery stores, boat/water craft activity rentals and Ice Cream shops are within a short walk. Manatees are known to a habitat the bay are during certain times of year, dolphins and other wildlife are also regular visitors within the bay and ocean. Parking is included at no extra charge. There is a FREE island trolly that can take you around the island and a pick up/drop off location is right in front of the Tortuga Inn.

Within the condo: the studio sleeps 4 comfortable. Queen bed with a pullout couch for additional sleeping. There is a mini fridge, microwave, kuerig, and plenty of closet space. A large bathroom, walk in shower with dual shower heads. Also includes basic cable and FREE wifi.

Although this is a new property with out many reviews I do have two other properties so you can check my history as an owner. The listing ID's on VRBO are; 1626279 and 7850036. This is also good to know if you have a large group and want to book multiple properties to stay close to one another. The properties are all at the Tortuga Inn.

For an additional charge of $40 per day I do have a boat slip. Please enquire if you are looking to rent or bring your own boat or jet skis.

If you are looking for a different size condo, needs multiple condos or this one doesn't have the availability you are looking for you can look at the other condo's I help manage. The VRBO ID's are: 7850036 which is a studio style condo (about the size of a hotel room with a kitchette), 2065681 and 1696979 which are both 1 bedroom, 1 bath, full kitchen condos with views of the ocean and large screened patios, 2240550 which is a 2 bedroom 1 bath, full kitchen and 3952991 which is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, full kitchen and stunning views of the Bay.

Very nice little condo! Not a huge space but plenty of room for two. Loved the shower!

Bed sheets where dirty and not actually changed before we got there we pulled covers back and there was dirt and sand all over the bed we weren't allowed to check in till 3pm because they was suppose to be cleaning the room which they did do so we went and got covers to use and was out by 10am the next day will not stay here ever again unfortunately

Quick getaway

Small studio but perfect for what my wife and I need it for. Pool is heated and may be a little too warm. Location is excellent. We would stay here again for sure.

Great Location

Very convenient location. Short, easy walk to the beach. The condo was the perfect size for the two of us. The host was accessible when questions were asked which is not always the case, so much appreciated!

Great place close to everything!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here very convenient location. The unit is updated and clean. Communication from the owner was fantastic. Saw some reviews before getting here that said if you like a soft bed well I have bad back so I was a little concerned. The bed was perfectly fine and I also saw that you have to come in through a slider which was a little different for me but other than that, I really have zero bad things to say about the stay here so much so that I booked an extra night. The owner is honest everything they said is exactly what transpires. Thank you so much for a great day. I will be back.

Everything was exactly as stated online. The place was small but comfortable and very clean. I loved the couch/bed. It was perfect for my 12 year old. We don’t spend much time in the room so it worked for us.

Great getaway

This was our 1st trip to Anna Maria. The room is a very short walk to the beach. When you goto the beach you have nice chairs to use. The room was perfect size for me and my husband. Alot complain about no window. But you have large patio doors so you do get sunlight. The free bus picks up right outside the hotel. Would stay again for sure!

Beach getaway

The property is in a perfect location. It offered everything we needed and it was immaculate. The only drawback for us was there is no window or light to come in. You enter/exit through a sliding glass door that opens onto the area where the other condos have doors. Overall a great place to stay and the host was very responsive.

I was disappointed in this unit. The bed had hair in it and when taking the sheets off per instructions several yellow stains. No utensils. Has a great location but it’s like being in a prison cell. You have to smell whatever the unit next to you is cooking and no other windows to look out at

Just a couple short comings.

The air conditioning exhaust was detached from the wall. Duct tape kept coming loose allowing hot air to enter the room. The ceiling fan and couch arms were dirty but other than that we were satisfied. We enjoyed our stay. 😁

Perfect place for a sister getaway

Everything was just how it was described in the listing. The room was super clean with the basic amenities of a hotel room but much better! The push button lock made not keeping track of a key while on the beach easy and worry free. The bed was comfortable for sisters just wanting a good nights sleep after a day at the beach. We loved having beach chairs, umbrella and a pool all readily available and a beautiful beach just steps away. The trolley stop being right outside of the property is perfect and can make it easy to not have a car while visiting the island. I would definitely stay here again for a quick getaway for two!

Great place!

It is a great, affordable place to stay especially if you’re looking to be out and about and it is right across the street from the beach. It is bigger than a hotel room with a large bathroom. There isn’t a kitchen, but there is a fridge, microwave, keurig and toaster. We ate out most times, so it wasn’t a concern. We ended up having to switch our dates last minute due to an emergency, and the owner gladly did it for us right away with no additional charge. He was responsive and very helpful!

Please note this is a sub-unit of one apartment. There are no windows. You can hear the occupants of the other sub-unit. The location was great. The bathroom was spacious and the shower had two heads. Some of the lights were not working. Cleanliness was average and the kitchen items were in a closet. There were no plates or cutlery.

Ok for a short while

This is a small apartment made from sectioning off the bedroom and bathroom off a main holiday home. The aircon is loud as the ducting area is just off where you will be sleeping; and the facilities are basic. Not too clean. No bedside tables. Feels like not a huge amount of effort was made by the owner. The pool is great when quiet; but when we were there large Hispanic families on vacation took over the pool area and insisted on blasting loud music on portable speakers as they swam or walked around the complex. The reception staff are fantastic.

Room With NO View

The Tortuga Inn was nice and the room seemed clean but the set up was rather peculiar. The "studio" seemed to be the master bedroom of a larger unit, along with its bathroom and closet, that had been separated from the rest of the unit by locking a door. The control for the main air conditioner was not available to the room. There was a portable air conditioner on the floor in the room. There was no window. The only opening was a sliding glass door that opened on to an inside walkway near a large, hot, noisy air conditioner. It felt like a cell.

The location was good, the studio was average but for the price paid i cant expect much more. We did have an issue with the hairdryer blowing the electics which put out the mobile air con unit and most of the lights and fridge but the owner was quick in getting back to me and fixing the situation but same happened the following night so it was a pain having to deal with this whilst on holiday. The actual studio was spacious with beach chairs, noodles and towels supplied. This was the least pleasing out of 5 properties we stayed in but i understand AMI is expensive and this was the beat with in my budget. I would of liked outside space but it didnt appear that many of the properties at tortuga inn had private space. There was 2 pools which we didnt use as its literally across the small road.
