MalgrĂ© son emplacement rural et tranquille, cette maison est idĂ©alement situĂ©e vers d'autres destinations locales telles que Franklin, Nashville, The Natchez Trace Parkway, Spring Hill, Dickson, Fairview, Columbia et Centreville. Il y a trois chambres, mais il y a aussi un canapĂ©-lit queen dans le salon, et nous avons des portes de grange sur mesure qui peuvent ĂȘtre fermĂ©es pour fournir une zone de couchage privĂ©e sĂ©parĂ©e au coucher. We had a wonderful 8-day stay in this home. It was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We spent hours on the front porch swing as well as the back deck. The house was spotlessly clean and well organized. Our dog enjoyed running in the large fenced yard. Wifi and cable television had excellent reception. The owners were great to work with and very responsive to our comfort and needs. We would love to stay again and will definitely recommend to others who will be visiting the area.

Wonderful long weekend with family and our pets. Love the home and how clean and cozy it was. Bring flashlights for going out back with your pets at night, it's pitch black in the backyard (even with the back porch light on). So many precious thoughtful details in this home that made our stay extra special!

We were lucky enough to stay here for a full 6 weeks for a summer break from our home town. The house is in a GREAT location that is very quiet and peaceful! Surrounded by nature, we loved the creeks around the home! The screened in porch was used daily by the whole family. Well provisioned and stocked, you can tell Ann and Larry care about providing a great experience for all. Ann and Larry were super responsive and friendly hosts. We also had fun with the piano, record player and all the games! Also, the BEDS were soooo comfortable it was amazing. Super fast internet was great for working from home and playing some video games with the kids. The yard was perfect for our dog and the kids! The home was very clean and lovely on arrival that it felt just like home. We would stay here again every visit!

A wonderful getaway

Our stay at Daffodil Hollow was perfect. The home was clean, wonderfully decorated and so comfortable. My daughters and I had everything we needed and enjoyed the beautiful large fenced in yard and the screened in porch also. I would definitely stay there again and recommend Daffodil Hollow to friends and family.

Serene, charming retreat

This lovely house sits by a stream in the beautiful rolling hills of Tennessee. Though it is in the country, the location is central to charming Leiper's Fork and Natchez Trace and was perfect for our working/vacation time. The hosts stocked the house with everything we needed to make our meals and enjoy ourselves. We loved the screened in porch! The internet had been changed and a bathroom added since the listing. Ann and Larry were super responsive with help with a noisy toilet and getting on the internet. We spent 2 weeks here and we'll be back.

Perfect quiet getaway!

We were looking for a quiet place to unwind for a long weekend with our kids and dogs and this location was perfect! The kids enjoyed stargazing and walking around the property and our dogs loved the big fenced-in yard! The house itself was cozy and comfortable and exactly as advertised. Our hosts were communicative and accommodating. We’d definitely stay again!

Ideal Getaway with All the Perks

My wife and I were able to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and were lucky enough to stay at this charming home. Far enough away from others...but close enough to make the local attractions a convenient drive. The home was cute and cozy and furnished with necessities and perks beyond what was expected. Fabulous in every way. Recommended if you can get a reservation.

Phenomenal set up and location!

Daffodil Hollow is set up incredibly well. Anything you can think of needing, it's got it. The kitchen is well stocked and spacious, the rooms are comfortable, and the fenced yard is a really nice feature. Our dogs loved it! Do note that if your dogs are athletic and are prone to chasing critters, you probably ought to keep an eye on them because the fence is a little low in some places due to unevenness in the ground's level.The decor is really cute! My dad joked about absconding with the horse painting :)The location is excellent - the house is at the end of a road with only one other house nearby, which means the night sky is beautiful to look at. We were here to hike part of the Natchez Trace, and Daffodil Hollow is about a 15–20 min drive from the nearby trailheads.Would recommend!

Family Visit

Daffodil Hollow is a great little place within an easy drive of Franklin/Nashville/Thompson's Station. The home is exactly as pictured! It was easy to find and so comfortable! We stayed here while visiting family and it was so great to be in a place that felt like a home away from home. Our daughter really loved the piano and art bedroom! The creek and the trees provided a great background for all the deer we saw. We hope to come back again in the spring for the daffodils! What an awesome little gem.

Lovely remote getaway

My friend/colleague and I stayed 4 days for an extended weekend, partially for work and partially for a short vacation. The house was clean and as advertised, if we had forgotten anything, it would have been there. Every room has so many nice and thoughtful decorations. The hosts were really helpful, even before the booking process and did everything to meet our companie’s payment requirements. The house is in a beautiful remote area with a creek nearby. We were able to watch some shooting stars of the meteor shower at the fire pit. Internet was available and met our needs, especially for the remote location! The hosts made sure to message us to check and ensure everything was ok. There’s a nearby country store that has the essentials, supermarkets were about 20 minutes away. If you’re looking for a getaway in nature, this is the place to book!

Disappointing experience

The home accomodated 2 adults, 2 eleven year olds and 2 labador retreviors. The house was perfect for our two dogs. I am sorry to say it was not the same for the rest of our family. Both my wife and I were working throughout each day when not attending a soccer tournament. Unfortuantely the house came with an old "Radio Shack" server. Reception and cell phone reception was spotty. After day two the server was not working at all. Although the owner came came to the house and removed the server with the hope she could either fix it or find a replacement. That night we were told that she had to find a new one with no promises as to when this would happen. For parents of young kids I do not have to tell you how important wifi has become. In the end, ( 4 days) we had to return early due to scheduled meetings that required our presence. When we indicated we had to leave early and wanted to be compensated for the days we could not stay, the owner suggested we have our meetings at a local McDonalds and refused to compensate us for the difficulties we had. Leaving the area prevented us from watching my older sons last game in a national playoff tounament. We understand things can go wrong, but we felt a partial refund was the right thing to do if the owner wanted to treat her clients fairly.

Peaceful and Enchanting

Larry and Ann are wonderful hosts. They definitely care about their property and their guests. When we arrived the home was left for us, as if our Mom or Grandma had just made the place ready for us. We walked into their cozy little cottage with the radio playing softly, so that the atmosphere wasn't stale and cold upon our arrival. They had someone coming over to take care of something on the property, and we were notified in plenty of time, and the people who came over were very respectful. If we had any concerns about something in the house, Larry and Ann were right on it, and took care of it promptly. Ann put together a spice kit, there were about 15 different canisters full of yummy spices to use for our meals, that was amazing, and much appreciated. We also had the treat of watching a little a bird over the week, that had made her nest in a spot on the screened in porch, her eggs didn't hatch before we left, but it was fun for us to keep an eye on her. Where we're from, we don't have lightning bugs, but they were sure out in droves during our stay...this made our stay here, a little bit like a fairytale... If someone asked me if I would stay at this property again, I would say with enthusiasm...YES! As would the rest of our party. The people in the neighborhood were very friendly, actually everyone we ran into in Leipers Fork and the surrounding areas were all kind! This was one of the best parts about our trip!

Lovely serene spot

You will enjoy your stay if you want to rest and relax in the beautiful rural areas outside of Nashville. I attended a retreat for 3 1/2 days nearby and it was the perfect setting. I wish I had more time at the house but sleeping and eating dinner were great.

Peaceful Stay

We needed a place to stay for 10 days after our home burned. This place was so peaceful and the ripple of the stream across the street was very relaxing. The owners always responded quickly to our questions. We would recommend this VRBO to anyone looking to relax.

Very relaxing country setting

Our family enjoyed our stay at the home. Had a cabin feel and was very quiet. Plenty of room for sitting and visiting. Kitchen and table allowed for enjoyable family time at meals. Had a very remote feel, however, we were able to get to most conveniences in 25-30 mins with highway 840 being pretty close. Also drove several backroads to explore.

Nice country getaway

We made plans to spend Christmas with family in Franklin. We had to find a house that welcomed pets close by. We decided to choose the Daffodils retreat after reading the many glowing reviews. Ann was very responsive and helpful. The house is quaint & comfortably furnished. We were welcomed by Christmas music on the radio, a decorated Christmas tree, homemade cookies & yummy peach jam. The place was very clean, the beds comfortable, the towels plush. The kitchen was well appointed with everything needed to prepare a meal. The house has a very functional layout: A music room with piano and fold out couch, an art room with a daybed and drafting table. Both bedrooms had good size closets. A cute coffee station was a nice addition to the kitchen. The laundry room was well equipped with everything needed to do the wash. Outside of the kitchen was a screened in porch from which one can access the huge fenced backyard where our Doberman enjoyed running. The only drawback was the fact that the area was not raked with the fall season’s leaves covering the ground. We are very particular about cleaning up after our dog but the situation made that extra challenging. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend this quaint house to anyone looking for the comfort of home away from home. This was the perfect house in a very peaceful area away from the hustle & bustle of life around the holidays. It was a nice place to bid goodbye to the old year and welcome a new one. Happy New Year!

There is a field of daffodils here that is the largest we have ever seen. The scent is amazing when they are blooming in the spring The creeks are so beautiful. The little hard pan branch behind the house is especially unique because of the natural rock formations. The stream in front is very nice in the hot summer months. This is a beautiful, peaceful place. Large, mature oak trees provide generous shade in the summer months.
