I booked at the last minute and asked if I could come on a night that I could not pick due to last minute. I left a note for property owner and he replied that I could show up because cabin was available. They also called me the night before check out and said I could take my time when leaving. The cabin was clean and well maintained. They supplied linens and even coffee and had a few things for cooking. Spices very nice owners and wanted to make sure your stay went well
We needed a place to stay with our dogs, and this fit the bill. Close to the places/events we wanted to visit. Cabin was cozy, and hosts were friendly.
This cabin was the perfect place to wind down from our vacation. Much thought and effort went into making our stay as comfortable as possible. If you are looking for peace and quiet, the front cannot be beat.
Loved, Loved, Loved this sweet little cabin. It was a wonderful change to "unplug" and spend some quality family time together. Perfect Christmas getaway! We hope to visit again soon.
Daisy and Tony are the greatest host and hostess. They helped and accommodated us with a few major needs. Hummingbird Haven is true to its name. Coffee on the front porch in such a relaying atmosphere. Thank you both for sharing your cabin.
Hummingbird Javen
This cabin was exactly what we needed. It was extremely cozy and secluded and there was no Internet or TV to bother us. It was perfectly relaxing and a beautiful place to stay! The hosts were fabulous.
We stayed at Hummingbird Haven for an extended weekend getaway. Wonderful, peaceful and relaxing. Lovely little cabin escape from technology, but close enough to reconnect and enjoy the close areas of Leipers Fork, Franklin, and Nashville. We would highly recommend and would come back.
Was a wonderful get away. Nice view and lots of birds and wildlife playing. The owners were very nice and the cabin was stocked with everything to get you started on you stay.
We enjoyed the quiet, peaceful and beautiful surroundings.
This is a quaint, rustic cabin. We enjoyed being in the beautiful country. It was quiet and lots of birds. We loved sitting on the porch. Daisy and Tony were wonderful and welcoming hosts. We highly recommend.
Such a perfect place to stay! Quite, comfortable, and beautiful. Tony and Daisy have the perfect place in the perfect location to enjoy the fun of the surrounding areas and get to relax and unwind afterward. The cabins porch was a delightful place to bird watch and sip a cup of coffee. With all the thoughtfulness that make a place feel like home this property made our trip to TN a wonderful experience.
The property was exactly as described, complete with extremely limited cell phone signal - just what I wanted! I enjoyed my stay with my two dogs and was so glad to meet Tony, who came to say hello and let me know what to do if I needed anything. I will keep this place in mind for future visits!
We have had a lot of our own travel experiences. Our goal is to make a restful renewing getaway for all that gift us with a visit. Daisy is a retired nurse, mental health advocate, likes to garden and quilt. She's a bit of a mischief maker, known as 'the straw that stirs the drink" of our Fernvale community. Last year she hiked 90 miles on the Appalachian Trail and is planning to do more this year. Tony, has a great sense of humor. He is a retired systems analyst/programmer, Montessori teacher, song writer/folk singer, bottle washer, supervisor and cohort.
Not fancy, clean and safe. Old fashioned, allows for a time to reconnect, to family, friends, yourself, and the quiet joy of life. A low stress community, where neighbors are friends. Limited internet and phone service does make it easier to disconnect. (There may be a little reception on a corner of the porch. There is good reception at the end of the drive).
An entire log cabin to yourself, with only birds to wake you. The cat probably will ignore you. We are friendly. The Innkeepers that are ever so happy to make sure you have what you need, as well as to sit on the porch and talk.
