Cette escapade de vacances unique est située sur le magnifique lac James, au pied des montagnes Blue Ridge, dans l'ouest de la Caroline du Nord. Cette cabine au bord de l'eau est l'endroit idéal pour se détendre et profiter de la beauté de la nature! Ici, vous profiterez de votre propre plage privée de sable blanc équipée de chaises où vous aurez la possibilité de pêcher, nager, faire du kayak, du bateau à pédales ou de profiter du soleil. La propriété a son propre débarcadère couvert. Il y a aussi un barbecue à gaz pour griller. La rampe d'accès public aux bateaux est idéalement située à 3,2 km, de même que plusieurs sentiers de randonnée / sentiers de découverte de la nature. Asheville, où se trouve Biltmore House, est à 40 minutes, la promenade Blue Ridge Parkway est à seulement 20 minutes en voiture et Grandfather Mountain et le ski sur neige sont à une heure.

The water was clean and the cabin was cozy. The city of Marion is a short drive away with many dining options! We had a wonderful time :)

Wonderful place to stay!!!

We loved staying here! There are so many nice outdoor areas to enjoy .... the porch is so cozy, the beach is wonderful - especially for our dog, and sitting on the dock first thing in the morning having coffee was so relaxing. Loved all the outdoor string lights at night and having a fire in the fire pit!

Lake vacation

Truly enjoyed our stay. Mother and daughter trip. Fabulous location, very clean and excellent amenities! The sandy beach area was a huge plus. Easy to get boat, paddle boards and kayaks in and out of the water. Communication was responsive and quick. Highly recommend this property.

Relaxing vacation

Loved having a last minute vacation (with our 4-legged child) where we could fish, make a fire, grill, go boating if we wanted to, etc. Was a fun property with lots of options for activities. Would like to visit again.

Cove and beach are great for playing in the water. Our dog loves the easy access into the water and trolling the shore looking for fish!

Weekend on the lake

Enjoyed the cozy cabin on the lake, prace & quiet. Firepit pit & back yard are great, enjoyed a nice fire with drinks in the evening with lake views!!

We were living our best life here, hiking close by in the morning, then hanging out in the water for the afternoon. It was a wonderful location and had all the amenities you would need on the lake! We had a great time!

Wonderful

We had such an amazing stay at the cabin. The private beach with the paddle boards and floats was so relaxing and very quiet. Had two young kids that enjoyed the swing and did marshmallows around the fire a couple of nights. In the last morning woke up early and there was a little deer in the front yard. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip and will definitely be returning.

Quiet private beach

Everything outside was the best Private beach with water toys. Covered boat dock Pro-quality barbecue Fire pit Many tables and chairs Covered porch with chairs The inside space was a bit small but adequate Host was very helpful when I locked us out and also with tv start up Weather was perfect so we were able to take advantage of the outdoor amenities Great location and easy access to lake

This place is exceptional!!

Loved, loved, loved this cabin! The view from the property is absolutely beautiful! The outdoor space is second to none. We got to meet Kimberly when we arrived and she was just lovely. We were able to enjoy the outdoors even during the rain with the lovely covered front porch. The beach area was a great place to play and to relax in the shade. There is too much to say, but you will not be disappointed! This is a great place for a getaway for 2. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful and serene

We stayed over Labor Day weekend and absolutely LOVED this property. As described the cabin is small but very cozy! Just perfect for the 2 of us and our dogs. Anything you need is provided. I have to say the private beach is one of a kind. All kinds of water toys and I used the paddle boards for the very first time. We will definitely be back’ Thank you Kimberly for everything

Magical

Couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful and perfect spot for a weekend retreat with my dog. We were both in heaven. Very comfortable and cozy cabin and spectacular outdoor spaces with gorgeous views of the lake. Great places to explore in the neighborhood and great hikes nearby.

180 degree water views at cabin

We can't wait to rent this property again. at the end of a quiet street with water views on both sides. lovely dock for the boat. sandy, clean, shallow swimming beach great for dogs or small children. kitchen and grill equip with everything we needed to cook all of our meals. most accommodating owner - most!! loved Lake James with all the gorgeous views.

Lake James Beauty

This tiny cabin is adorable and perfect for 2 adults. What a great location for water fun and mountain hiking. We would come again:). I’m not sure how 6 people would do, perhaps if 4 are small children. Note that the loft is not big enough for an adult to sit up. This did not matter for us. We loved this cabin.

Unpretentious Lake Vacay

The host for this property is outstanding. She was communicative and accommodating to our needs. The lake part of this property is unmatched. You won’t be disappointed by the private beach and dock, water toys, and views. The one drawback is the size of the sleeping quarters. I believe the listing says it can sleep 6. I would say it can sleep two adults and two small children. If you’re a couple or small family you’ll love this property. We enjoyed our stay with two adults and our pup.

Little Slice of Heaven on Lake James

We loved our week at this little lakeside cabin. AC worked great, the mattress was exceedingly comfortable (unlike many rentals we’ve experienced where the owners do not replace often enough), the Wi-Fi worked well, and the grounds are spacious and comfortable. There are multiple outdoor sitting areas: on the covered porch in case of rain, chairs around the fire pit, and our favorite was the seating on the private beach! And, if you don’t feel like cooking you are just a 1 minute walk from the Marina restaurant. I would highly recommend this special property to friends looking for a Lake James retreat. Major plus: It’s one of the few if not only lakeside rentals that allows dogs! We got to meet Kim briefly and she was warm and welcoming. Don’t hesitate to book!
