Ce bungalow moderne récemment mis à jour est parfait pour une escapade insouciante à Stinson. Avec une cour arrière ensoleillée et une vue magnifique sur l'océan à travers un bosquet d'Eucalyptus, cette propriété simple est amusante et facile. Le plan d'étage ouvert pour le salon, la salle à manger et la cuisine donne une agréable sensation d'espace, et le mobilier chic et moderne est rafraîchissant et confortable. Le pont qui fait face à l’océan se trouve juste au-dessus d’une forêt classée de cinq acres de monarques et, pendant certaines périodes de l’année, des visiteurs colorés s’envoleront. Ce bungalow est vierge. Note: Il y a un escalier raide de la route à la maison. Pas de télé. Poêle à bois, chauffage central, barbecue au charbon. Les petits chiens (moins de 30 livres) sont autorisés. Locataires avec animaux de compagnie: Frais pour chaque animal supplémentaire: 25 $ / nuit, 150 $ par semaine pour les séjours plus longs, frais de nettoyage de 50 $, frais de nettoyage de 500 $. Lovely Beach Rental

We enjoyed a lovely week in Stinson Beach. The location was excellent--close enough to walk to the beach or restaurants. The kitchen had plenty of items to make the stay comfortable. Outdoor spaces were lovely and we saw deer almost nightly walking through the backyard. Our only complaint is that the beds were fairly soft. Would definitely return.

Wooded cottage with a glimpse of the ocean

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This happy little cottage is so close to the beach that the sound of the ocean soothes guests to sleep. We loved its proximity to the beach, Parkside restaurant, and the Stinson Market around the corner. The only minus is lack of investment in the basics, toaster, teapot, blender/cuisinart. What is there is worn out. The towels are thin.It's a great getaway for a couple, young family, or good friends. (The bathroom sink is in the open hall.)Highway One is responsive and kind as always.

Great Place to Stay in Stinson Beach!

Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at 151 Buena Vista Ave. I was in town to run the Miwok 100k, and was pleasantly surprised to find that the race started literally down the street from the house. So location is an A+. The house was clean, nicely decorated and generally well stocked. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again if we come back.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Inside was clean and photos are accurate. Outside deck and patios are not maintained, nor is the yard which was overgrown to the degree that it was inaccessible. The grill and beer table are in poor condition and garden off the deck is not maintained. Outdoor bean bag chairs were dirty and unusable. There was no charcoal present for the grill or usable wood and kindling for the wood stove (as is pictured). Overhead light bulbs were missing in the kitchen, so there’s inadequate light for cooking in the evening. Kitchen utensils are in poor condition. There was no pepper or oil present, nor a baking sheet. Lights in the bathroom and sink are just bare bulbs, and not very pleasant. Bathroom is dated, but jetted tub was a nice surprise. Pink mildew along the bottom of the shower curtain. As others have noted, towels are well used, and freezer was almost unusable as it needs to be defrosted. All of the above could be easily addressed to improve the quality of the property and a visitor’s stay, otherwise, I would not stay again. Location is good, near grocery, short walk to beach and the Parkside (highly recommended).

Great getaway flat a short walk to the beach

Amazing place to stay in Stinson. Not too far from the beach, you can hear the ocean from the balcony and inside. Great bathtub, good kitchen.

Tranquil 'Tree-house"

This is a beautiful house surrounded by trees. And if you open the window you can hear the waves. It is the rare property where the pictures don't do the place justice. It's better than it looks!

Wonderful Location

Stinson Beach is the best! House is in the perfect location. You can hear the ocean from inside. There is a creek running on the side and you can hear that from the porch. We would definitely stay again although there are a few things that could be better. There are big windows in the bedrooms that allow too much light in, even at night. You have to bring a sleep mask. Bedrooms are for sleeping, they should be covered. There are only 4 towels and they are so old and thin, they need to be replaced. The tiny freezer was completely covered in frost, we had to defrost it to make ice. The furniture is actually patio furniture and not comfy. And the pin to the jack and Jill bathroom kept falling out so privacy was an issue with 2 couples. All easy fixes to make the house superb. We really did enjoy our stay though and wouldn’t hesitate to pick this one again. Just being honest about the little things.

Beautiful and peaceful getaway

We loved everything about the house and the location. Great layout and lots of light in every room. View of ocean through the trees and sound of the waves. Quick walk to town and the beach, but set apart from the main thoroughfare. Can't wait to return some time soon!

Simple, tasteful cottage above Stinson Beach

This simply and tastefully renovated cottage is a great base for exploring western Marin and is walking distance to the main part of Stinson Beach. The house is not large but the rooms are well-sized and the deck provides some additional space. Lovely spot.

Great location, amazing natural light

Amazing property, better than in the photos. Well equipped, we cooked and baked, and grilled. Best thing about the house is the natural light, windows and skylights everywhere. Spent the days surfing split between Bolinas and Stinson Beach.

Delightful property with modern, hip, easy styling, steps from the beach

A great house, great stay. We could hear the waves from the house, and there was a view through the trees to the ocean. Steps from the beach, yet quiet (though right above the town). Supremely comfortable bed in the ocean-facing bedroom. Well-stocked kitchen in terms of cooking equipment, and the wood-burning stove helped us stay warm and cozy during chilly evenings. Highly recommend.

Perfect, private lovely house a short walk to the beach

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely, well cared for, well-designed (we’re architects!) house up in the trees. The house is tucked away but has generous outside space and is close enough you can hear the waves lapping the shore... we hope to stay again!
