We are sorry that this guest was dissatisfied with their stay. We take the cleanliness, condition, and safety of our home very seriously. We were particularly concerned by the claims regarding mold and cleanliness, as they do not reflect the condition of the home. Our house is professionally cleaned after every guest stay, including the floors, rugs, and bedding, and we have never previously received a complaint regarding mold or the cleanliness of the home. We also want to clarify our house guidelines regarding noise. We ask guests to remove their shoes in the house, and our quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., when we ask guests to avoid loud music and other excessive noise out of consideration for our neighbors. There is no rule prohibiting guests from talking after 8 p.m. Had these concerns been brought to our attention during the stay, we would have responded immediately and done everything we could to address them. We appreciate genuine feedback from our guests and always want to know if something needs attention. However, we also want future guests to have an accurate understanding of our home and our hosting standards.

Some guests with limited mobility might find the stairs a bit challenging, but we do have a very sturdy handrail to make them easier to navigate. HI Janelle, Thanks for the five stars. I'm sorry that your experience with our internet was that it was weak. We are directly wired into our local LAN so have excellent, fast, and stable wifi. I wonder where you were in the building when you had that experience and what type device you were using? I wish you'd said something to me at the time as I could have helped you identify the issue and gotten you up to full speed and strength. We've never had that kind of feedback before. In fact, we recently hosted a nice couple from New York who worked remotely even taking part in numerous video Zoom conference calls and they reported no problems at all. Many of our guests do work remotely including an ER physician who had no problems whatsoever with the wifi to do his work and stay connected. Again, apologies, but I'm at a loss to explain your experience given our hard wired wifi set up. Best, Greg
