Ron, I’m glad you had a great stay! The location of the condo makes it so easy to enjoy all the amenities that Breck has to offer. I was also glad we were able to accommodate an extra early check-in as it is nearly impossible to do so during the holidays but our cleaners worked extra hard to make that happen. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay! As you mentioned the property/building is “older”. Despite this we feel that the property provides our guests with a clean comfortable environment with a great location to the lifts for an affordable rate. Updated properties come with increased rates potentially making it unaffordable for some. Ski boots on stairs can be tiresome and we have found that sometimes putting on ski boots in your car downstairs can be helpful as long as you don’t leave your ski boots in the car over night ;)

I appreciate you taking the time to write a review, your feedback is important to us. To address your concerns the pilot on the fireplace can be finicky with wind coming in through the building and blowing it out as we discussed over the phone. We did provide instructions to get it lit again. I also recently had the fireplace serviced so hopefully that will help out. Occasionally things get unplugged from the outlets to use for charging phones or other devices and suggested that it was most likely the scenario with the Tv, which ended up being the case. Our listing does state under the pool description that the pool is open seasonally and closes after Labor Day with a tentative open date at the beginning of ski season. We decrease our rates significantly when the pool is closed to offset that inconvenience. I have contacted VRBO to see if there is another way to make the pool availability more visible to our guests, however there was no immediate solution. They said they would pass along my feedback.
