Getting to nearby Jolly Harbour could not be simpler, thanks to the villa’s two golf carts, reserved for guests' exclusive use. The harbour is home to a lively boardwalk, a wide variety of excellent bars and restaurants, an eighteen-hole golf course and plenty of activities on the water. For those who wish to travel a little further afield, the stunning landscapes of this Caribbean paradise lie waiting to be discovered.

Antigua and Barbuda is a nation encompassing two sister islands and several smaller islets in the heart of the Caribbean Sea. Local Antiguans are understandably proud of the island’s 365 beaches, one for each day of the year. Guests at Villa Tasha will be delighted to find the silky white sands of two idyllic beaches nearby, Ffryes and Darkwood. Surrounded by dense green hilltops, Ffryes Beach is a popular spot with tourists and locals alike. Here, you can spend the day snorkelling in the crystalline waters before indulging in a delicious dinner at one of the many restaurants on Jolly Harbour Marina.

Slightly further afield, Nelson’s Dockyard National Park is one of five national parks in Antigua. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, this eighteenth-century British naval dockyard is an area of great historical significance on the island and a popular venue for maritime events and activities. For those who wish to experience the magic for themselves, there are plenty of sailing excursions and water-based activities available.

There are plenty of fantastic trekking trails around the island, taking in sandy beaches, rainforests and dreamlike coastal views. For a challenging hike, wear your shoes and visit Mount Obama, the highest peak in Antigua. From the summit, enjoy the panoramic views before descending to Cades Bay for a delightfully refreshing dip in the ocean.
