Stunning six bedroom seafront villa with pool, garden and sea views
Dieppe Bay House is a beautiful sea front villa set in an acre of tropical gardens in an off the beaten track location in the south of Antigua. Only five minutes drive to local shops and restaurants, the house has stunning views across Falmouth Harbour to the distant masts of the yacht clubs An acre of garden gives the villa lots of outdoors space and includes a gorgeous pool with sundeck, two gazebos, rustic beach BBQ area, sun terrace and lawn leading down to the sea.
A very spacious verandah area is ideal for indoor/outdoor living with soft seating and a covered dining area. There are five bedrooms in the main house including a spectacular master with its own extensive terrace. Three of the bedrooms have private terraces and two with four poster beds All bedrooms have ensuite bath/shower room and air conditioning. There is a one bedroom guest cottage in the garden complete with walk in shower and double ended free standing bath. Monday to Friday maid service is included along with a gardener/pool service and on call property manager. The house is well suited for families and has Amazon Fire Stick TV with DVD library, games and books. Cooks/provisioning/baby sitting can all be arranged at additional cost.
The house is as beautiful as the pictures! Lots of space for our large family. Bedrooms are huge and comfortable. Everything you need is here! Pauline the housekeeper came every weekday and kept everything well taken care of. We had Chef Patricia prepare dinner for us 3 times and I can not recommend her more highly. She is great to work with, her food is better than anything we had at a restaurant and it was so convenient! The only sort of downside to the experience was the road out to the house. Believe the reviews that the road out is a bit rough. You donât have to have 4 wheel drive but it is a rough ride. Would recommend staying at Dieppe House for a family holiday!!!
We had a large family reunion and the house accommodated everyone.
Housekeeping staff was friendly and efficient.
Antigua is a beautiful country with very kind people. We loved our stay. We enjoyed several beaches. Donât miss Shirley Heights or Devilâs Brifge.
Great entertaining space and loved the location right on the beach. Really handy for English Harbour and all the other attractions.
Pauline took great care of us and is a lovely lady, a great asset.
We were a group of 11 adults celebrating a special birthday and we couldn't have picked a more beautiful villa and location. Sunrise, sunset were all spectacular and we were so fortunate to experience a lunar ecipse during our stay making it extra special. We decided to have a local caterer provide most of our evening meals, as the villa is a perfect place to hang out with friends, and we have many exceptionally happy memories of our nights eating and dancing on the verandah area. Although we had a slight glitch with the water supply on one occasion, the staff stepped in immediately and all was put to rights. We took our own paddleboard and the beach at the bottom of the garden proved to be a great place to use it. And we loved watching the pelicans dive there for their catch of the day!Dieppe Bay House is an absolute gem, and we wouldn' t hesitate to recommend it. And Melanie was a delight to deal with - thank you!
Second year at this amazing property. Absolutely an amazing home. Outdoor verandah space is just perfect for socializing and our favorite spot in the home. Everything is clean and the owner is responsive and super helpful. Would strongly recommend this property to everyone.
Great house, great location, we took vacation during off-season and there was still plenty to do within a short distance; restaurants, beaches or places of interest. I would recommend a rental vehicle. The owners are awesome to open up their house for rental!
The house and property were perfect for my family and exceeded our expectations in every way. I have been visiting Antigua for decades. This was the first time I was able to assemble all three of my children and their families on the island. The property manager Anna and housekeeper Pauline both helped make our stay delightful.
We had a lovely stay here and would recommend it for a multi-generational family trip. The exterior space in particular was great - lovely, private, with beautiful flora. The housekeeper Pauline was lovely to us, as was the owner Melanie and the property manager Anna. We received prompt answers to questions to small things needing attention, and revived good recommendations for services, places to eat, and beaches to visit. We reco getting an SUV to more easily navigate the road to the priory, but with careful driving itâs not dissimilar from private roads one might find in some Caribbean countries.
This home was just perfect! The open air living space was our favorite! Beautiful flowers all around especially the pool area. Beach in front is not pretty white sand and when it is high tide there is not much beach, but lots of great beaches nearby. Road to hotel is a bit bumpy and gets old but the house is amazing and worth the drive. We hired Patsy to cook dinners for us and stock the house and she and her son cooked amazing meals. Communication was great. Questions answered very quickly. We would highly recommend a stay at this property.
Thanks for a great week!!
Dieppe Bay house is a well loved house, very large (great for large groups), full of Caribbean character, Caribbean style (as opposed to boutique style), very clean, relaxing atmosphere, with excellent staff and free Wifi. Recommend Annie's home cooked meal! Good location, however you must have a car, then everywhere on the island is within easy access. Short drive to the lovely Falmouth Harbour. House is on the water, however no direct access to swimmable beach. Easy drive to beautiful beaches. Personal favourite was Darkwood Beach (near Jolly Harbour). To be honest, the pool was more impressive in the photos than in reality. Enjoyable stay.
We had a great time at this wonderful villa. The home is stunning and had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The views of the bay from many different spots on the property, including from the bedrooms and patio, was impossible to get used to - I was amazed once again every day when I would open the patio doors to let the breeze in and see the view. Sunrise was right over the bay in perfect view over the pool. We didn't have bugs all week (unlike our last night on the island near Dickinson Beach) due to the nice breeze. We loved the location, close to a few grocery stores and terrific restaurants right across Falmouth Harbor, usually only 5-10 minute drive. The road leading to/from the property is rough, but we got used to it. Definitely was the right move renting a Jeep - made the ride easier on that road as well as a couple places we drove on low maintenance roads. We also loved being so close to some of our favorite spots on the island, including Shirley Heights / Blockhouse Overlook, Falmouth and English harbors, Nelson's Dockyard, Galleon Beach (good snorkeling on the far south side by the rocks). And my favorite beach on the island was Pigeon Point Beach which was just across the bay.The owner, property manager, housekeeper, and gardener were all wonderful and did a great job making sure the property was well maintained.Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful home with us! We hope to return some day.
Home comfortable for our family of 12
Home in very good repair. Kitchen has everything necessary. Grounds in wonderful shape.
Daily house keeping by Pauline was perfect. She is an absolute pleasure.
My wife and I been to Antiguia 8 pervious trips. This is the 2nd in this area of the island. First time during the summer months- not as many restaurants open as expected but enough for a few meals our.
Enjoyed the Kids Carnival parade.
Highly recommend this home for large family / friends vacation.

Congrats to the owners for keeping the property so nice.
The house is lovely, it is a family home and clearly loved and a special place for them. We found the host to be extremely responsive to our needs, and the staff was very quick to act when we requested anything.
We had several requests that were above and beyond, and they were all taken in stride, and executed very quickly. A fabulous hostess.
Perfect house for us! 10 adults and 4 kids. The best part of the house is Pauline. She really kept the house in amazing condition and looked after us like. She made us feel like family and very welcome. Good time had by all!!
The property is absolutely stunning! We loved the incredible views, the open feeling of the house and the tasteful decor. The amenities were fabulous- the pool, the hammock, the beach were enjoyed by all. One of the favorite places we loved to hang out was on the veranda. We spent a lot of time playing games and enjoying our meals there. Pauline and Anna were gems and a wonderful resource. The only thing that was a bit upsetting was the drive to the property, although we know there is nothing the owners can do about it.
The property is beautiful and in a wonderful location. It accommodates a large group. The only suggestions the property will need superficial updates to maintain the beauty. Example is the master bedroom faucet need replacement. However, Iâm very pleased with the house. Melanie and Annaâs/team did a wonderful job with assisting me with my need to host my birthday party. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.
We just got back from Antigua and I must say, aside from our fun group of friends and family, the best part of the trip were the accommodations at the Dieppe Bay House. The house and grounds are absolutely lovely. From the beautiful blue gates as you first approach the private home, to the colorful artwork that adorns the walls throughout, from the wonderful and plentiful seating arrangements to the terrific layout of bedrooms and spaces--perfect for a large group, everything was comfortable and clean and cared for in a way that we were not expecting. It exceeded our expectations which is always a nice surprise. Communication with the owners and the property managers was extremely easy and polite. The housekeeper, Pauline, who is there M-F was a delight and a great bonus. I highly recommend staying at the Dieppe Bay House and hope to stay there again if and when we return to the beautiful island of Antigua. Thank you, Melanie! A real pleasure.
Not too far from Falmouth and English Harbour, the house was very clean and well appointed. Lots of support from the owner, house manager and maid ranging from transportation, restaurants, private chef and even COVID tests for the trip back. The layout of the house was pretty good, with a huge back living space and patio that was perfect for both hanging out and meals. The kids really enjoyed the pool. One thing to keep in mind is that getting around can be a bit slow due to rough and narrow roads.
Dieppe Bay House exceeded our expectations! Our family of 11 travelled to Antigua to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. This house was perfect for our size group, providing many options for group dinners, conversing, but also provided the space for privacy too (I.e. Cabana, en-suite bathrooms, etc.) The pool and carefully-manicured flower gardens were a daily treat for our eyes. The house is tastefully decorated and includes many photos of the ownerâs family which gave it a homey feel.
Planning the trip was somewhat challenging due to the worldwide pandemic, but Melanie was right there to help with any concerns, questions or clarifications.
The road to the house is bumpy and rugged but it gave us a feel for true Antiguan life so we enjoyed it. The house is stocked with towels, linens and all the necessary kitchen tools. We felt welcomed and right at home as we were greeted by Anna, the property manager, who showed us around. She was just a text away on WhatsApp if we had any questions or concerns and acted quickly.
Antigua is a very special island with unbelievable sights. We visited many beaches (Rendezvous Bay which is accessible by hike after a drive up the mountainside, Galleon Beach, Pigeon Beach, Half Moon Bay, Ft. James Beach, Mermaid Gardens, Dickinson Beach, Jolly Beach, Darkwood Beach, Valley Church, Devilâs Bridge and more!)
We took a boat excursion with Mystic which was an all-day adventure (Very fun staff!!) We interacted with many locals and enjoyed their conversations. English Harbor is a short 11-min drive with some great restaurants (Paparazzis, Clubhouse at AYC) We also ate at Trappas and Casa Roots (Marina Bay area where we held our vow renewal right on the beach) and Siboneys (site of famous red phone booth on beach). The food was wonderful every time we went out. There are also options to have grocery shopping done prior to your arrival, which was a welcome treat after a long day of travel. They also have options to have a chef come to house and cook or drop off prepared meals, we wanted to do this but simply ran out of time.
Thank you again Melanie and John for sharing your lovely home with vacationers like
us. We had an unforgettable stay in Antigua and look forward to visiting again!!
We really appreciated being able to stay at this peaceful home. It's tucked out of the way, quiet, spacious, and made for lazy days by the pool. Anna and Melanie were both very communicative, and made the trip easy in every way. Thank you!
Our stay at Dieppe Bay House for a week was everything we asked for and more.
The communal areas were perfect for our large group plus two children, and the bedrooms had enough privacy for the times you needed for yourself. The views at sunrise are breathtaking ( try and get up early for at least one)
Unfortunately for us are stay crossed over with a world wide pandemic, so the island was a little quite but communication with Anna and Melanie was great.
The area is lovely for privacy but you will need a car to get around we used TiTi which was recommended to they were also very helpful. A few places we loved were Shirley heights and Jackie Os beachhouse, the area of English Harbour has plenty of restaurants and activities.
I look forward to visiting both Antigua and Dieppe Bay House again!!!
Our stay at Dieppe Bay House was wonderful. It was perfect for our large party of 11 people. It was clean, spacious, and exactly as advertised. We would all give this property our highest recommendation. The only negative would be the road that leads to the Villa, but that is out of the control of the villa owner and more on the Government of Antigua.
Wow what an amazing place Antigua and Dieppe Bay is!
The photos really don't do the villa justice at all, we had an amazing week staying at Melanie's place.
We brought our own paddle board so went out snorkeling from the beach at the end of the villa and saw turtles and loads of fish. We watched the pelicans diving for fish in the evening from the beach.
We spent a lot of time in the pool whoch is the perfect size with ample sunbeds(we have left a large inflatable rainbow unicorn there for future guests!)
The rooms were all large so comfy and we all truly felt at home. The master bedroom is immense with two balconies! Great for sunrise!
The electronic insect nets were a god send int he morning and evenings, felt like we were still sitting outside whilst having a few drinks at night and our morning coffee.
The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. We had Patsy do a food shop prior to our arrival and cook us our fist meal and provide a lasagna for the next day. I would recommend this as the supermarkets locally can be a bit sparse and the food is very expensive to buy in. Knowing what I know now I would've booked more meals with Patsy.
The housekeeper, Pauline, was so lovely and helpful.
We went to Shirley Heights on Sunday and it was so much fun, definitely recommend! The taxi driver suggested in the welcome book,JB, was brilliant and took us to some more view points along the way.
We also went horse riding in the sea twice with Spring Hill Stables down the road. Amazing experience from complete beginners to experienced riders. Susie and Kent are so lovely and the horses very well looked after. Swimming int he sea on a horse is amazing!
We also went with One Love Academy on a speed boat wakeboarding and kneeboarding off a private island.
You have to go to rendez vous beach, half moon bay and darkwood beach too.
We only had a week and packed a lot in but spent so much time chilling at Dieppe Bay house.
I would recommend using TiTi Car hire too, dont use Budget! And if you ahve the choice go for a more robust car so you can go on some of the dirt tracks to beaches like rendez vous.
I cant fault the island and the villa at all, what a great time of year to go before it got too busy too.
As a family we fell in love with the Caribbean back in 1999. After several happy holidays in Barbados, a friend recommended Antigua and we were hooked. We first saw Dieppe Bay House in 2003 - an unfinished new build sitting in a muddy garden with few plants and no pool. Despite all the downsides, we knew we could make it the home of our dreams and set to. The early years were tricky as we got to know which local builders to trust and what would work with the climate in the house and garden. Almost ten years on, we have a house and garden that we are very proud of and the perfect base for many happy holidays over the year. We would love to share it with you.
When we arrive from cold England - particularly in December, the first thing we do is head into the garden and onto the beach. The beautiful boats - from super yachts to small dinghies sailing by; the hungry pelicans dive bombing for their latest meal; the lap of the waves; the chatter of the fishermen; and occasionally the glimpse of a turtle. And then the next morning - dawn over Falmouth Harbour is stunning with the call of the barbary ducks in the background. Lastly the smell ... described by a journalist from The Times newspaper as 'the air smells like coconut; like moss; like wet brown sugar; like rum'
