There is an easy flat walk to the Bakewell Showground which hosts a variety of events throughout the year, as well as an area for fishing locations for trout or grayling along stretches of the river Wye.

The cottage has a wood burner and we provide a log for your convenience. More logs can easily be bought locally if required.
